McIntosh Manor RV Park and Retreat Reviews
Great RV spot. I have met and chatted with Larry, who co-owns the park with his wife, and he is personable and genuinely cares about your experience. The site is cozy and lots of trees so you don’t feel on top of one another. It is clean and really comfortable if you just want to chill.
Mar 23, 2025 · Eric WammockVery nice campground. They have good level sites with full hookups. Nice little dog park, and the park in general appears well maintained. I brought our own WiFi but did log into theirs and the speed was good.(about 50mbps) There isn’t a playground on site, but there is a nice little public one about a mile away. This was a short trip for us. Just about 30 miles away. We also visited the wildlife refuge nearby. Plenty of hiking and biking trails there.
Mar 20, 2025 · Paul BundyThis RV park is our family's favorite. It's a small park with simple beauty. Lots of trees on the property gives it a camping feel. The owners are very kind and were gracious and friendly towards our children who ran around there like little squirrels! The laundry facility is clean and accommodating with plenty of machines for the size of the park. I highly recommend it!
Mar 19, 2025 · Anna Babcockan absolute gem of an RV park. The sites are meticulously clean, a good size and very well kept. The owners are spectacular. They clearly love what they do and it's evident by the care they put into their RV park.We were only able to stay one night because we had other reservations, but we will definitely be back. It's a "down home" feeling kinda place that we absolutely love.
Jan 29, 2025 · Miriam CleoughStayed for month of Feb 2025 in our camper and it was wonderful. Quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The owners are the kindest and we felt like family from day one. The grounds are well kept. Laundry facility very clean and dog park was perfecto. Owners are very responsive to any of your ask/questions. We can’t wait to get back!!!!! ♥️Very nice little cottage is also on the grounds and listed Air BNB. More amazing things to come as owners are renovating the Manor and it sounds like it’s going to be beautiful. You can tell they care for the travelers to be comfortable and everyone is their #1 priority.Right across the way and in walking distance is the Piggly wiggly super market.Location of park is convenient to many things both shopping and sightseeing, along with beaches nearby.Laurie and Larry, we thank you so much for one of our most wonderful and memorable stays.See you soon!
