Meadows of Chantilly Introduce
For local residents in the Chantilly, VA area searching for "RV parks near me" or considering long-term living options in a mobile home park, Meadows of Chantilly, located at 4200 Airline Pkwy, Chantilly, VA 20151, is a community that may appear in search results. They can be contacted at (888) 509-1672 or +1 888-509-1672. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based solely on the publicly available customer reviews, highlighting both the potential and the concerns raised by individuals who have experienced this community.
Environment: Potential Mixed with Issues of Cleanliness and Animal Control
The environment of Meadows of Chantilly appears to have the potential for a better housing community, as noted by one reviewer. Its convenience to many locations is also cited as a positive aspect. However, the reviews also highlight significant environmental concerns. The presence of stray cats that have been in the neighborhood for years is a recurring issue, with one reviewer mentioning the "terrible" smell of cat urine and the potential problem this poses for individuals with cat allergies. The presence of skunks ("Pepe Le Pews") and the associated odor is another environmental concern raised.
Loose dogs are also reported as a frequent problem, with one reviewer humorously stating, "I have seen dogs walking people versus people walking the dogs!" This suggests a lack of enforcement regarding pet control within the community. Furthermore, litter on personal property and a "basically destroyed" playground with "glass, cigarettes, cans etc." are mentioned, painting a picture of neglect in common areas and a lack of overall cleanliness. Tree branches almost touching residents' windows are another indication of potentially insufficient maintenance of the grounds.
On a more positive note regarding the physical structures, one review from July 5, 2024, mentions "huge trailer homes" and that some are "massive" if they are double wide, with the observation that there are "just some wide trailers here." This suggests that the community accommodates larger mobile homes, which could be appealing to some residents.
Services: Concerns Regarding Management Support and Responsiveness
A primary concern raised in the reviews is the lack of support and availability of the leasing office and the overall management. One reviewer states they have called the office numerous times and only had their calls answered twice, indicating potential issues with communication and responsiveness. The "no people skills whatsoever" attributed to some of those answering the phones further contributes to a negative perception of the management's service.
The issues with stray cats, loose dogs, and the condition of the playground also point to a potential lack of effective management oversight and enforcement of community rules or maintenance standards. The fact that these issues have apparently persisted for years ("stray cats that have been running around for years") suggests a lack of proactive measures to address them.
While the reviews do not explicitly detail specific amenities or services provided by the mobile home park (such as maintenance, community events, or security), the negative feedback regarding management responsiveness and the upkeep of common areas implies potential shortcomings in these areas as well.
Features: Potential Convenience Offset by Neglected Amenities
One of the key features mentioned in a positive light is the convenience of Meadows of Chantilly to many locations. This could be a significant draw for residents who value accessibility to work, shopping, entertainment, or other amenities in the surrounding Chantilly area. The presence of "huge trailer homes" and "wide trailers" suggests that the park can accommodate larger mobile homes, which might be a desirable feature for those with more spacious manufactured homes.
However, these potential benefits appear to be offset by the reported negative features, such as the neglected playground, the presence of stray animals and their associated issues (smell, allergies, potential for aggression with loose dogs), and the lack of apparent attention to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the community grounds (litter, overgrown tree branches). These negative aspects could significantly detract from the quality of life for residents.
The lack of responsive and supportive management, as indicated by the difficulty in reaching the leasing office and the poor interpersonal skills of some staff, is another significant negative feature that can impact residents' experience within the community.
Promotional Information: A Balanced Perspective for Potential Residents
For local individuals and families exploring "RV parks near me" or considering a move to a mobile home community in Chantilly, VA, Meadows of Chantilly at 4200 Airline Pkwy offers a location that is reportedly convenient to various amenities in the area and features spacious mobile homes, including double-wide units. The community has the potential to be a better housing option, and some residents have reported encountering nice people within the neighborhood.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of concerns raised in customer reviews regarding the management's responsiveness and support, as well as issues related to the upkeep and cleanliness of the community. Reports of a significant stray cat population and associated odors, problems with loose dogs, a dilapidated playground with litter, and overgrown tree branches suggest areas that may need improvement.
While the spaciousness of some of the mobile homes and the convenient location may be attractive, potential residents should weigh these factors against the reported challenges. It is highly recommended to contact Meadows of Chantilly at (888) 509-1672 or +1 888-509-1672 to inquire about the current status of these issues and the management's plans for addressing them. Visiting the community in person to assess the conditions firsthand would also be a prudent step before making any decisions.
Meadows of Chantilly presents a mixed picture based on the available feedback. While it offers potential in terms of location and the size of some of its homes, the reported issues with management and the environment warrant careful consideration by anyone looking for a mobile home park in the Chantilly, VA area. A thorough personal assessment is advised to determine if this community meets individual needs and expectations.
For local residents seeking long-term housing or those transitioning from RV living to a more permanent setting, understanding both the potential benefits and the reported drawbacks of Meadows of Chantilly is essential for making an informed decision. We encourage potential residents to conduct their own due diligence to determine if this community is the right fit for their needs.

Meadows of Chantilly Reviews
It is a shame how this community has the potential for being a better housing community. From the lack support and availability of the leasing office, to the stray cats that have been running around for years in the neighborhood, the smell of cat urine...it is terrible. What about those with cat allergies?! That can pose a major problem. And lets not even mention the the Pepe Le Pews in the area; an odor that is beyond missing. Loose dogs all the time, I have seen dogs walking people versus people walking the dogs!I have seen various houses where others have litter on personal property. The playground is basically destroyed. The grounds of the playground have glass, cigarettes, cans etc. What is that a dump site?! I gave it 2 stars because it has potential and its convenient to many locations and I have come across some nice people from that area. The management is where it starts. I have called the office numerous of times and only gotten my calls answered twice. No people skills whatsoever to some of the ones answering the phones. Tree branches almost touching peoples windows. Did I mention poor management and ample amount of cats?! I know that better management support can raise the star ratings coming from people.

Jul 09, 2024 · Spiral ToteManaged by losers who raise the rent $100 a year and don’t take care anything anymore, such as the roads, pot holes everywhere. They used to commonly repave all the roads but now they just put pot hole patch on which comes out in a weekThey used to mow the grass in the park commonly but so far they have done it 2 times this year and everything is overgrown and terribleThey used to have a guard out front at the entrance every day but they fired them and have never replaced themYou used to be able to put anything at the street and the trash service they had would take everything twice a week. Now whatever trash service they have cheapened out on doesn’t take anything outside the main trashcan unless you payIt feels like the place has been bought by a souless investment firm who is trying to run the place into the ground so they can get everyone to move without buying everyone out, and then build apartments over it. That’s everyone’s guess so far

Oct 07, 2024 · Lani YDon't recommend .Becomes very expensive to rent as rent goes up every year. Does not give the deposite back! Was there 9 years, rent went to $1100 a month. Never get ahead and feel stuck. Think twice before owning a trailer that can't be moved. They harassed people to replace the driveways but that was not their responsibilty, it was the owners. Guy on wheels always riding around harrassing people. Allows some tenants to do things others not allowed to do. People don't clean up after their dogs and neither does maintenence. The dog area is disgusting! There are too many rules, cars get towed. No place for visitors to park. Lots are practically on top of each other, No privacy. Don't get trapped.
