Merritt Island Village 55+ Reviews
I have been a resident at Merritt Island Village for the past five years. I can confidently say that Chuck, the manager, has always addressed any concerns or maintenance issues I've had and handled them promptly. He does so much to keep this park looking good. I couldn't be happier living here. Thank you Chuck for all that you do.
Mar 19, 2025 · T CLived here for over 3 years now, and the only complaint I have is it's to quite, people are friendly, The man in charge comes off as gruff but he keeps the place clean and secure, couldn't be happier
Feb 11, 2025 · Ed CooperWe’ve been living here for about three months and love the place. What’s not to love? Surrounded by water and only four miles from the sand at Cocoa Beach. Chuck the manager does a good job keeping the park nice and safe. He seems to truly care about the park and the residents. We looked at a lot of 55 up places before we found this one and this was one of the nicest well managed ones. Sure there are park rules that are enforced but without most of those rules this paradise wouldn’t be what it is.
Nov 10, 2022 · Craig PhillipsI've just upgraded my house within this community for the second time and my main reason for staying in this community is the management. The manager is proactive about identifying and solving issues. He works hard to ensure the safety of the residents and is always open to feedback and questions. I feel safer here than I have at any other community and would recommend it to anyone.
Sep 11, 2023 · Maritza ProctorIf you have a dog or like dogs, this is not the place for you. Dog haters police the place taking pictures and yelling at you if your dog makes a peep or oversteps into a grassy area. Dog runs are not marked yet you’re supposed to know (we were visiting). The couple who live by the dock think they own the whole common area there, again yelling if you overstep—least friendly place I’ve ever visited. We own condos in Orlando, so I’m well aware of community living. If I saw someone not aware of a rule I would say, “Hi, I’ve not met you yet, are you new?” Then when I had greeted them nicely, I’d share the rule. Believe the best? Not here. Gives “Neighborhood Watch“ a whole new meaning.
