Miami Village Mobile Home Park, located in Columbia City, Indiana, is a residential community that has recently garnered attention through online reviews. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview based solely on the experiences shared by residents on the internet.
Situated at 4614 E Old Trail Rd #48, Columbia City, IN 46725, USA, Miami Village Mobile Home Park is a housing community. While the platform category is 'RV parks near me,' it's crucial to clarify that this is a mobile home park, which typically offers longer-term residential living rather than short-term RV stays. Therefore, the following introduction will focus on its aspects as a residential mobile home park.
Recent feedback from residents paints a picture of significant challenges and dissatisfaction, particularly following a change in ownership. One long-term resident reported experiencing "nothing but issues since day one," even under previous management. This suggests that some concerns might predate the new owners. A critical issue highlighted was the lack of available maintenance during a period of severe cold weather, leading to frozen pipes in a resident's home. The resident expressed frustration with the delayed response from management, noting the absence of 24/7 maintenance, which they deemed unusual for a housing community. They also described a previous instance of improperly installed heat tape, which ultimately failed to prevent the pipes from freezing, resulting in unacceptably cold living conditions inside the home.
Another review focused on the transition to corporate ownership, stating that the new owners "treat as such." This resident expressed sadness over the perceived decline of what was once considered a "safe place to call home" for many long-term residents. Specific concerns were raised about the treatment of the community center and the unprofessionalism exhibited by the new management. The park manager was described as frequently unavailable, inappropriately dressed, and rude to tenants, allegedly "barking orders" without even introducing herself. This feedback indicates a significant downturn in the community's atmosphere and the quality of management from the perspective of some residents who have lived there for many years.
It's important to note that these reviews reflect personal experiences and opinions shared online. However, they consistently point to significant issues related to maintenance responsiveness, management professionalism, and the overall living environment within Miami Village Mobile Home Park, especially under the new corporate ownership.
Given this information, local users considering housing options in Columbia City, Indiana, should be aware of these recent experiences shared by residents of Miami Village Mobile Home Park. While the park's location might be convenient, the reported issues concerning maintenance, management, and the sense of community are factors that potential residents would need to consider carefully.

Miami Village Mobile Home Park Reviews
I'm a resident here and have had nothing but issues since day one. even with the previous owners. its 10 degrees outside all my pipes are frozen they don't have any available maintenance which is odd. you would think a housing community would have 24/7 maintenance. i call the manager multiple times and finally get an answer for her to tell me she just got off a plane and no one is available to assist us... the maintenance they sent to hook up my heat tape months ago just draped it over my pipes and left it... I assured them it would not work like it should and here we are every inch of my pipes are frozen and no one to help.. its under 50 degrees in my home which is unacceptable... I just want to know when this is going to change.. no part of this operation can be legal. check out the uploaded photo for the heat tape and gfi outlet '' maintenance '' installed
Jan 14, 2025 · freddie gulkerNew owners are corporates and treat as such. They bought the last place that was safe to call home for many all for a dollar. They have insulted our community center and made mistake after mistake there unprofessionalism knows no limits and the manager they hired for the park is NEVER available, dresses like she's lounging at home, is rude to tenants barking orders from 2 trailers down, having never even introduced herself. While the park may have not been the best and could use improvement what's happening there now is heart breaking for those who have lived there for 10,20,30 years. It's so sad to see it now.
Jan 10, 2025 · Vanessa CramarNeeds new management who cares for their tenants, plus help them out instead of smoking weed. We aren't getting hold of her for no good reason but have real problems. I guess if you don't do drugs then you're not important as the ones who does.
Jan 23, 2024 · Brenda SieversI'm sorry I don't like to leave bad reviews. This place is not a good place to raise a family. Most trailers are from 1970s. Something is wrong with there water. There's always something wrong with the well and it backs up into your pipes. Messes up plumbing and washers. No water pressure. It's the ghetto trailer park of Columbia City. Everyone knows this place isn't good. But if you absolutely are needing a place and you don't care who lives by you and you don't mind the rust or no heat then I'm sure you could buy one for 10,000 plus. Yes extremely over priced. Not sure how they get away with that either. It's gotta be illegal
Aug 18, 2021 · AugustaManager makes you pay for repairs when you rent to own. Only her "friends" are allowed to do what they want. Owners dont care about the place. No way to contact them at all. Oh and they have no rule book either. At least I wasnt given one. Kids run all over the place and the neighbors are loud and rude. So many more bad things to say. Hopefully we can move soon because I cant stand it out here any longer!
