Park presents a location with strongly contrasting opinions from its residents. It is crucial for prospective visitors or residents to consider both perspectives when evaluating this RV park.

The environment and ambiance of Mirror Lake R.V. Park are described very differently by the two available reviewers. One resident found the park to be "peaceful and beautiful at night," appreciating the clear night skies and stars. This suggests a potentially tranquil setting, perhaps removed from significant urban light pollution. The friendly and welcoming nature of the neighbors also contributed to a positive sense of community for this reviewer, who was thankful to have found this place as their home.
In stark contrast, the other reviewer described the park as lacking "peace or quiet" and characterized by a "very Hostile environment." This suggests a potentially disruptive and unpleasant atmosphere for some residents. The specific mention of "24/7 drug activity" raises serious concerns about safety and the overall living environment within the park.
The limited reviews offer conflicting insights into the services and features of Mirror Lake R.V. Park:
- Management: One reviewer explicitly praises the "awesome" management, suggesting a positive and supportive experience with the park's administration. However, the other review vehemently criticizes the owner and a "maintenance guy" who allegedly "RUNS" the place, describing them as "foul mouthed & nasty, RUDE and harmful." This significant discrepancy in management perception is a critical point for consideration.
- Neighbors: One resident found the neighbors to be "so friendly and welcoming," contributing to a positive community feel. Conversely, the other reviewer stated that "the neighbors were even mean," indicating a potentially negative social environment for some.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: The negative review highlights a significant issue with park maintenance, stating that "the Garbage spills over into the street because no one that sopposably works there will clean up the park." This suggests potential neglect in maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the RV park.
- Cellular Reception: A significant drawback mentioned in the negative review is that "There is NO CELL RECEPTION at all." This lack of connectivity could be a major inconvenience or safety concern for potential visitors or residents.
- Security (Inferred): Given the allegations of drug activity and the hostile environment described in one review, there are serious questions regarding the security and safety within Mirror Lake R.V. Park.
The starkly contrasting experiences reported by the two reviewers make it difficult to objectively ascertain the true nature of the services and features offered without further information or multiple perspectives.
The highly divergent reviews of Mirror Lake R.V. Park necessitate extreme caution and thorough investigation for anyone considering this location. The serious allegations in the negative review, concerning staff behavior, drug activity, lack of maintenance, and a hostile environment, should not be taken lightly. Potential visitors or residents are strongly advised to:
- Investigate Management Practices: Attempt to contact and interact with the current management to form their own assessment of their professionalism and responsiveness. Seek clarification on park rules, security measures, and maintenance protocols.
- Assess Park Environment and Safety: If possible, visit the park in person at different times of day to observe the environment, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere. Pay attention to any signs of the issues raised in the negative review.
- Inquire About Security Measures: Specifically ask about security protocols in place to ensure the safety of residents and address any potential illegal activities.
- Verify Cellular Reception: If reliable cell service is important, independently verify the reception quality within the park.
- Seek Additional Resident Feedback: Attempt to speak with current residents (if feasible) to gain a broader range of perspectives on the living conditions and management.
- Consider the Negative Allegations Seriously: The claims of a hostile environment and drug activity are significant red flags that should be carefully weighed.
- Friendly Neighbors: For those who value a strong sense of community, the positive review suggests that some neighbors are welcoming and friendly.
- Peaceful Nights and Stargazing: If the park is indeed located in an area with minimal light pollution, the opportunity for peaceful nights and stargazing could be appealing to some.
- Potentially "Awesome" Management: According to one reviewer, the management is excellent, which could indicate a responsive and helpful administration for some residents.
Mirror Lake R.V. Park in Vance, Alabama, has received contrasting feedback from its residents. One reviewer described the park as peaceful and beautiful at night, with friendly and welcoming neighbors and awesome management, expressing gratitude for finding it as their home.
However, another reviewer presented a drastically different experience, labeling it the "single worst excuse for an r.v. park anywhere." This review alleges rude and harmful behavior from the owner and maintenance staff, mean neighbors, unkempt grounds with overflowing garbage, pervasive drug activity, a lack of peace and quiet, a hostile environment, and the complete absence of cell phone reception. This reviewer strongly advises against visiting or living at the park, even expressing concern for the safety of children.
Given these extremely divergent accounts, local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might consider Mirror Lake R.V. Park are urged to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough, independent investigation before making any decisions. The significant negative allegations, particularly those concerning safety and management, warrant serious consideration. While some residents may have positive experiences, the starkly contrasting feedback indicates a high degree of variability in the living conditions and management effectiveness at this RV park. Prospective visitors and residents should prioritize their safety and well-being and proceed with extreme caution.

Neighbors are so friendly and welcoming. It's peaceful and beautiful at night being able to see all the stars in the sky. Management is awesome. I'm so thankful I found this place to be my home.
Dec 25, 2023 · Dawn SyxSingle worst excuse for an r.v. park anywhere. The owner and his "maintenance guy" that "RUNS" the place for him is a foul mouthed & nasty , RUDE and harmful. It's a very Hostile environment. There is NO CELL RECEPTION at all ..it's not a place to visit or much less live.. I wouldnt let you children out of site .. You'd be happier on the side of the freeway than this place.
