Misty Mountains Park Reviews
We needed a spot with great views of the sky to work online. This place is great! Our site looks out on a beautiful pond. Super staff. Huge and flat space for our class a. Oh yea, super larger dog run area. Right off highway and easy in and out for larger rigs. Would recommend for quick overnight stop or longer term.
Aug 09, 2024 · Erik CocksNice quiet little rv park. We called and spoke with Bob, the owner. He said to just drive in, pick a spot and go online to pay. Well, before we could do that, his “Trusty, obedient servant”, Paul, was there at our truck window to help. Such a nice and patient guy! We checked out a couple spots for level because we didn’t want to unhitch the trailer. We were just there for the night passing through and it was an easy hop back on the highway. Thanks, Bob and Paul!
Aug 19, 2024 · Lonna PurgaricI am one of those people who never leave a review good or bad about anything, but yet reading reviews is what I use in my decision making....but I felt compelled to leave a review on my experience at Misty Mountain in Cuba NY.....I have never camped in an Rv but once with my husband. He did everything, so I knew nothing. When he passed away I found out that I am just too small to drive a 40 foot rv, leastwise take care of it. So I traded it in and bought a 25 foot rv and then did crash courses and self taught myself as best I could, grabbed my bestie and my animals and booked a 3 night excursion to Misty Mountain.....When we got there, I utilized what I learned, set it up and then ran into a snag ... nothing big, just a little uncertainty. I came upon what I would refer to as the manager, Paul. This man was about as helpful as a person I've ever met. Throughout my stay, right to the end, he was able to alieve my aniexity and made our stay one of the most relaxing moments I've had since my husband passed. There were not a lot of campers at this time of the year, but enough so we didn't feel alone. We walked the grounds, put the 4 small pups into their stroller and took them to the enclosed dog park twice a day located on the grounds and they were so excited! We also walked them and ourselves on a short walk to town where everything you could need was available. There were many anemities that we didn't use because we came prepared, but I need to say the wifi was even better than my own home. There are so many more things I could talk about, but instead I'll just tell you that this is a must go to if your looking for a pleasant experience. I end this review with a big thank you to Paul (and Bob) for making this the highlight of my year and I will be back! See you next year!
Oct 09, 2024 · Chris BunchNo office per say. So when you arrive go to site. Manager sits in the open area in the back. This is an open field campground, nothing special. All sites are grass. We had full hookups. Alot of road noise from 86. Site one backs up to camper on site 2, you can open window and touch their camper, also if they are noisy at 7:30 am it's way to close. Would not recommend or stay again. Bathrooms clean, very old, laundry cheap, stackable dryers don't get hot.
Sep 05, 2023 · terry connerWe made reservations for n overnight stay while traveling to Ohio. When we arrived there were a few rigs and coaches on the property. We counted 6.There wasn’t a sign anyplace for an office. I knocked on a door without any luck and the other door which looked like it could be the office was locked and pretty much empty. My husband called the number of the park and got an answering machine, he left a message. We waited 45 minutes before pulling into a site. No one called us back, no one came knocking on our door.It was very strange. Lots of empty spaces but no one to be found. So we packed up and left this am.It is right off of 86 so we didn’t have far to go to get back on the highway.I don’t understand the reviews left prior to us arriving there. Unless they are made up reviews. It wasn’t a bad experience just odd.
