Morrilton RV Park Introduce
For local residents in Morrilton, Arkansas, or those passing through and searching for "RV parks near me," Morrilton RV Park, located at 30 Kamper Ln, Morrilton, AR 72110, USA, offers both RV sites and cabin rentals. They can be contacted by phone at (501) 242-3767 or their mobile number, +1 501-242-3767, for inquiries about availability and services.
Based on the recent online reviews, Morrilton RV Park presents a mixed picture with both positive and significantly negative feedback. It's crucial for local users to carefully consider these varying experiences before deciding to stay at this location.
On the positive side, one reviewer described the staff as "Friendly, down to earth" and noted the "safe location within walking distance to a convenience store." This suggests that the park may offer a sense of security and convenience for basic needs. Another reviewer who stayed overnight in a cabin found it to be an affordable option at "$45." They also appreciated the "parking, front porch, and close access to showers and bathroom." This indicates that the cabins might provide basic amenities at a budget-friendly price point for short stays.
However, this same reviewer also provided an important detail for those considering cabin rentals: "if you stay in a cabin you should bring your own pillow/blankets/sheets. The mattresses have covers but no bedding." This is essential information for anyone planning to rent a cabin, as it highlights that bedding is not provided.
In stark contrast to the positive comments about staff friendliness and cabin affordability, another reviewer shared a deeply negative experience as a long-term resident. They reported paying "$1050 to live here month to month" and residing at the park for two months. Upon giving a 30-day notice and allegedly "deep cleaned the place" before leaving, they claimed that the management took their "whole deposit and charged me an extra 500." The stated reason for this was that the park "couldn't rent it out until a month later," which the reviewer felt was unfairly charged to them. They described the park as a "really nasty place with bad management and rude staff."
This negative reviewer further alleged concerning behavior by the management, stating, "They came in and took pictures 2 days before my move out date and used that as 'evidence'. We were in the process of moving, it's going to be messy! The place was spotless when we left. I have proof but no lawyers in morrilton will work against them. Sad .I tried to bring up my concerns once and she threatened to call the cops on me." These are serious accusations indicating potentially unethical and intimidating management practices.
Adding to the severity of their experience, the reviewer also described the environment as having "A bunch of crackheads here" and expressed feeling taken advantage of due to having money. They concluded by calling it an "Awful disgraceful place. Very disappointed." This paints a concerning picture of the park's overall environment and the safety and well-being of its residents, particularly for long-term stays.
Considering these highly contrasting reviews, local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Morrilton, AR, need to approach Morrilton RV Park with significant caution. While short-term cabin stays might be affordable and the location convenient to a store, the serious allegations regarding management practices, deposit handling, and the overall environment for long-term residents cannot be ignored.
For local users considering Morrilton RV Park, it is strongly recommended to take the following steps:
1. **Contact the Management Directly:** Call (501) 242-3767 or +1 501-242-3767 to inquire about their policies regarding deposits, long-term stays, and any rules or regulations for residents. It would be wise to get these policies in writing if possible.
2. **Inquire About Security Measures:** Given the negative reviewer's comments about the environment, ask about the security measures in place at the RV park to ensure the safety of guests and residents.
3. **Inspect the Facilities:** If possible, request to see the RV sites and cabins before committing to a stay, especially if considering a long-term arrangement. Pay attention to the cleanliness and overall condition of the park.
4. **Clarify Cabin Amenities:** For cabin rentals, reconfirm what is included (or not included, like bedding) to avoid any surprises upon arrival.
5. **Seek Additional Reviews:** Look for more recent reviews of Morrilton RV Park on various online platforms to see if there are any consistent themes or if the issues raised in the negative review are isolated incidents or part of a larger pattern.
6. **Consider Alternatives:** Given the severity of the negative feedback, it would be prudent to explore other "RV parks near me" in the Morrilton, AR area to ensure a more positive and secure experience.
In conclusion, Morrilton RV Park offers potentially affordable short-term cabin rentals and a location with some convenience. However, the serious allegations from a former long-term resident regarding management practices, financial dealings, and the overall environment raise significant concerns that local users must carefully consider. Thorough due diligence and exploration of alternative options are strongly advised before making a decision to stay at Morrilton RV Park, especially for any extended period.

Apr 03, 2025 · Alex CahoonWas ok for overnight stop just off interstate. But could definitely use some maintenance. The outlet on my spot was melted. Fortunately the spot next to us was empty and the plug was ok. So I was able to use it.
May 11, 2024 · Marlin ParsonThis Campgound needs tons of TLC. Lots of permanent residents in run down RV’s and cabins. RV sites definitely attention....tall grass & weeds growing up around the electric, sewer & water pedestals (The water spigot on our site was busted). Wilds cats and loose dogs running around...which made me uncomfortable walking my two small dogs. The entrance road was in the Sunoco parking lot which is very confusing. Lastly the exit road had a huge rut. Sign states its a Good Sam park? Maybe Good Sam needs to revisit this place. We paid $35 to stay the night which is cheaper that most...?
