Morro Shores Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" with a focus on scenic beauty, a friendly community, and a tranquil coastal environment in the Los Osos, California area, Morro Shores Mobile Home Park presents a compelling option. Located at 633 Ramona Ave, Los Osos, CA 93402, USA, Morro Shores Mobile Home Park can be contacted at (805) 528-1244 or +1 805-528-1244 for inquiries. Resident feedback consistently praises the park's beautiful location, quiet atmosphere, and welcoming community, making it an attractive prospect for RV owners seeking a memorable coastal experience.
From the perspective of someone looking for "RV parks near me," Morro Shores Mobile Home Park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and a strong sense of community. One of the most striking features highlighted by residents is the "beautiful view of the rock" – referring to the iconic Morro Rock – and the "3 stacks" (likely the power plant smokestacks) that illuminate the sky and reflect off the water, creating "a brilliant photo op." This stunning visual backdrop provides an exceptional environment for residents and visitors alike, offering a daily connection to the area's natural landmarks. RV owners who appreciate scenic vistas will find this a significant draw.
The park is described as "quite large and maze like," which, while potentially making initial navigation a bit challenging, suggests a spacious layout with ample room for residents and possibly RV sites. The fact that a frequent visitor still gets slightly lost after almost a year indicates the size of the community. This could translate to more space between residents, as mentioned in another review, offering a greater sense of privacy for those staying in RVs.
A recurring theme in the reviews is the friendliness of the people. One reviewer explicitly states, "The people are so friendly and I love spending time here." This welcoming atmosphere can greatly enhance the experience for RV visitors, fostering a sense of belonging and community even during a shorter stay. The positive social environment contributes to the overall appeal of Morro Shores Mobile Home Park.
Further positive feedback emphasizes that "the grounds and facility are kept in top working order by the on-site Manager Roger Robinson and his Assistant David." This speaks to the quality of the park's maintenance and management, ensuring that the facilities are well-cared for and that residents and visitors can expect a smoothly run environment. Well-maintained grounds are essential for a comfortable and enjoyable stay for RV owners.
Morro Shores Mobile Home Park is also noted for its proximity to the Sweet Springs bird sanctuary, located "across the street." This offers a unique opportunity for nature lovers and birdwatching enthusiasts to easily access a local ecological preserve. The presence of "plenty of open space on the grounds for activities or walking the dog" is another significant advantage, particularly for RV travelers who enjoy outdoor recreation and those who travel with pets.
For pet owners specifically searching for "RV parks near me" that are accommodating to dogs, Morro Shores Mobile Home Park offers a dedicated "off leash dog park area." This is a valuable amenity that allows dogs to exercise and socialize safely, providing peace of mind for pet owners and a more enjoyable experience for their furry companions. This pet-friendly feature makes Morro Shores a particularly attractive option for RVers traveling with dogs.
The "great views of Morro rock and the bay" are mentioned again in another review, reinforcing the park's prime location for enjoying the area's stunning natural scenery. The availability of "visitor parking" is also a practical benefit for those expecting guests or for RV owners who may have additional vehicles. The comment about "more space between residents so to have privacy" is another significant plus, suggesting a less crowded and more secluded environment compared to some other mobile home or RV parks.
Morro Shores Mobile Home Park also boasts a "rec room with pool table, ping pong, full kitchen, rooms for meetings." These recreational facilities provide opportunities for socializing, entertainment, and even hosting gatherings, adding to the community feel and offering amenities beyond basic RV hookups. A full kitchen in the rec room could be particularly useful for longer-term RV visitors or for group events.
The overall sentiment from the reviews is that Morro Shores Mobile Home Park is a "nice facility." While the primary focus is on mobile home living, the numerous positive attributes – the beautiful views, quiet atmosphere, friendly residents, well-maintained grounds, pet-friendly features like the off-leash dog park, and recreational facilities – strongly suggest that it could also be a welcoming and enjoyable place for RV owners seeking "RV parks near me" in the Los Osos area.
To determine the specific suitability for RV stays, it is essential to contact Morro Shores Mobile Home Park directly at (805) 528-1244 or +1 805-528-1244. Inquire about the availability of RV spaces, the amenities provided for RVs (such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewage), the terms for short-term or longer-term RV stays, any size restrictions for RVs, and the cost. It would also be beneficial to ask about any specific policies or guidelines for RV guests within this established mobile home community.
While no specific promotional information is provided in the reviews, the inherent appeal of Morro Shores Mobile Home Park lies in its scenic location, friendly atmosphere, and well-maintained facilities. For RV owners seeking a quiet coastal retreat with stunning views, a welcoming community, and pet-friendly amenities, Morro Shores Mobile Home Park presents a compelling option worth exploring further. The combination of natural beauty and a strong sense of community makes it stand out among potential "RV parks near me" in the Los Osos area.

Morro Shores Mobile Home Park Reviews
My friend's parents live in Morro Shores and it is quite large and maze like so do not feel bad if you get lost. I still do and I have been going there for almost a year now. It has a beautiful view of th rock and the 3 stacks that illuminates the sky and reflects off the water for a brilliant photo op. The people are so friendly and I love spending time here. Enjoy!
Oct 19, 2022 · Diane GutierrezBeautiful place, quiet, friendly residents. The grounds and facility are kept in top working order by the on-site Manager Roger Robinson and his Assistant David. My parents have lived here for over 5 years now and love it. Sweet Springs bird sanctuary across the street and plenty of open space on the grounds for activities or walking the dog. Off leash dog park area too. Great views of Morro rock and the bay. Visitor parking and more space between residents so to have privacy. Rec room with pool table, ping pong, full kitchen, rooms for meetings. Overall nice facility.
Sep 06, 2018 · Alice SmithThis is great clean and kept retirement park. They have THE BEST annual sale hands down for the public. All kinds of treasures and food too. Great things at bargain prices! Like this beautiful blueberry cake/tart for only $10!!
Sep 24, 2021 · Bird Dog's Curb AppealMore like a 3.5 - It has its management issues, but most of the residents in the park are very nice and we are a great community of RESIDENTS. There are many activities to get involved with. This is what helps our community to be a good community since we know most of our neighbors (community family).
Jan 11, 2017 · Tom AnelloMorro Shores is an active, friendly, caring community. We are a 55/50 age restricted community. Located near Sweet Springs Nature Preserve in Los Osos.
