This introduction will detail the environment, services, features, and implicitly promotional aspects of this RV park and cottage community.
The location of Mountain Gate RV Park and Cottages offers practical advantages for travelers. Its "easy access to I5" makes it a convenient stopover for those journeying through the region, particularly between the Northwest and Arizona, as noted by one satisfied traveler. Despite its proximity to a major interstate, the park is described as "not noisy," suggesting a peaceful environment where guests can relax without the constant hum of traffic. This balance of accessibility and tranquility is a significant draw for many RVers.
The facilities at Mountain Gate RV Park and Cottages are well-regarded, with specific mention of the "super clean bathrooms" and "hot showers." These are essential amenities for any RV park, and positive feedback in these areas indicates a commitment to maintaining a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests. Clean and reliable facilities contribute significantly to a positive overall experience for travelers.
The management of Mountain Gate RV Park and Cottages has undergone a positive change, with "current management" taking over two years prior to one of the reviews. This new management is credited with having "brought things back up to standard" after a period under previous management that reportedly closed amenities and was rude to customers. The positive impact of the new management is a recurring theme in the reviews, suggesting a significant improvement in the park's operation and atmosphere.
Under the current management, several amenities have been reinstated or enhanced. The park now features a "coffee bar," providing a convenient and social space for guests to enjoy a morning beverage. The "club house is back open" and offers a "tv and lounge area," creating a communal space for relaxation and entertainment. Additionally, the clubhouse is once again available for "the groups that come in," indicating a welcoming attitude towards organized gatherings and fostering a sense of community within the park.

This highlights the park's commitment to security and cleanliness, which are crucial factors for both short-term and long-term residents. The cleanliness is further supported by the earlier review mentioning the super clean bathrooms.
The current management is also proactive in fostering a sense of community by "having events and planning new ones." This is a significant improvement from the previous management, which reportedly "never had events for us." The organization of events can enhance the social experience for guests, providing opportunities to connect with fellow travelers and enjoy their stay more fully.
The pricing at Mountain Gate RV Park and Cottages is described as "reasonably priced" by a short-term visitor who found it to be a suitable stopover during a winter storm. This affordability, combined with the clean facilities and friendly service, makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers.

Mountain Gate RV Park and Cottages Reviews
There was a winter storm warning (in the middle of March go figure) and we needed a place to stay before heading over the pass and Nancy was amazing and patient with me because i canceled then re-booked and it was no problem. Easy access to I5, not noisy, super clean bathrooms, hot showers. This is our new spot when traveling from the northwest to Arizona. Definitely recommend. Reasonably priced too!
Mar 13, 2025 · Kim VincentI have lived here almost 11 years it's a great place I feel very safe, It's very clean. The current management took over 2 years ago and has brought things back up to standard. We now have a coffee bar again and the club house is back open with a tv and lounge area, and back open to the groups that come in.The old management that was here 2 years ago closed everything down and was rude to customers and myself. Prior management continues to cause problems with bad reviews. With New management we are having events and planning new ones. The old management never had events for us so not sure why she would post bad reviews.
Apr 26, 2025 · jennifer tylerSpots are spread out with lots of room, grass and trees. Nice change from the other deluxe rv parks that are basically a parking lot.
Feb 21, 2025 · Grant Eckberges was very much appreciated. Just looking at them made me feel cooler. Wifi was great. There is cable, and it was about average. The pool was absolutely wonderful and I was able to swim by myself every morning. My only small gripe was if the pool is supposed to be open by 10, then all the pool cleaning should be completed by that time. There was also an air-conditioned rec room where I could set up my sewing machine and quilt. It's equipped with couches, a big TV and a small kitchen. The office staff was friendly and obliging. The sites are fairly close together and can be a little short for some big rigs. The traffic noise from I-5 can get loud as well. All in all, we'd recommend this place. We stayed for two weeks.
Jul 07, 2024 · Casey DawesStayed just one night while on a road trip with our travel trailer. Spots were a little tight even in a "premium" spot, but fine for our short stay. Picnic table at every spot it looked like.We did a load of laundry, machines worked great and the laundry room was nice. The pool looked clean, but we didn't have time to swim.Nice off leash enclosed dog park area.
