Decent place but the most Un-American thing happened a rule is you cannot have a American flag outside if ur renting even if it's not connected to trailer or porch. I was literally told to take my flag down I do not understand why that is a rule and why it is enforced? There's no way I would go to somebody and say Sir can you take down your American flag you're not allowed to fly it I'm glad my dad can't hear this, because he would absolutely hate to hear and know he served the country for 40 years - BRENT CORDRAY

Mountaineer Village Trailer Park Introduce

For local individuals and families exploring "RV parks near me" in the Morgantown, West Virginia area, Mountaineer Village Trailer Park, located at 101 Mountaineer Village, Morgantown, WV 26508, presents itself as a potential option for longer-term stays. It's important to approach this introduction with an objective lens, primarily relying on the experiences shared by individuals who have resided at the park.

Based on the limited information available from online reviews, the environment of Mountaineer Village Trailer Park is not extensively described in terms of natural beauty or specific landscaping features. One reviewer simply refers to it as a "decent place," which suggests a basic level of habitability without strong positive or negative connotations regarding the physical surroundings. The lack of detailed descriptions of the environment makes it difficult to ascertain the aesthetic appeal or the overall ambiance of the park.

Similarly, specific services and amenities offered by Mountaineer Village Trailer Park are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, RV parks cater to the needs of longer-term residents and may offer services such as water hookups, sewer connections, electrical hookups, and potentially laundry facilities. However, without this information being mentioned by residents, prospective residents will need to independently verify the availability and functionality of these essential services by contacting the park management directly. It is crucial for anyone considering a stay to inquire about the specifics of the utility hookups, waste disposal procedures, and any other amenities provided to ensure they meet their individual requirements for comfortable long-term RV living.

The features of Mountaineer Village Trailer Park, as perceived by its residents, raise some significant concerns that potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider. One particularly alarming review highlights a rule prohibiting the display of the American flag outside rental units, even if not directly attached to the trailer or porch. The reviewer expressed deep distress over this policy, labeling it "the most Un-American thing" and recounting being instructed to take down their flag. This policy, if consistently enforced, could be a major deterrent for individuals who take pride in displaying national symbols.

Another concerning feature mentioned by a long-term resident of over ten years is the perception of management being on a "never-ending power trip." This individual reported experiencing consistent issues across three different park managers, all under the direct management of American Homes. Such feedback suggests potential challenges in resident-management relations and a consistent pattern of what at least one resident perceives as overbearing or unreasonable management practices. For prospective residents seeking a harmonious living environment, these comments warrant serious consideration and further investigation.

Furthermore, a significant safety concern was raised by the long-term resident who advised that if you live on a corner lot, you should "be prepared to have your house broken into." This is a serious allegation that suggests potential security vulnerabilities within the park, particularly for those residing on corner properties. While it's important to note that this is a single report, such a claim should prompt potential residents to inquire about security measures in place at Mountaineer Village Trailer Park and to assess their comfort level with the reported risk.

Given the nature of the feedback, there is no positive promotional information to extract from the provided reviews. Instead, the prevailing sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction and concern regarding management policies and potential safety issues. Therefore, for local users in search of "RV parks near me" in Morgantown, WV, it is imperative to approach Mountaineer Village Trailer Park with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions.

Prospective residents should consider visiting the park in person to assess the environment and the overall atmosphere. It would be highly advisable to speak with current residents (if possible and appropriate) to gain a broader understanding of their experiences and perspectives beyond the limited information provided in these two online reviews. Crucially, a detailed discussion with the park management regarding their policies, security measures, and the specific services and amenities offered is essential to clarify any ambiguities and address the serious concerns raised by past residents.

In conclusion, while Mountaineer Village Trailer Park in Morgantown, WV, is an option that may appear in a local search for "RV parks near me," the available feedback from residents presents significant concerns regarding management policies, particularly the restriction on displaying the American flag, and potential safety issues related to break-ins on corner lots. The lack of positive comments regarding the environment or services further underscores the need for thorough investigation by any prospective resident. It is strongly recommended that local users considering this park conduct comprehensive research and direct communication with the management and potentially current residents to make an informed decision about whether Mountaineer Village Trailer Park aligns with their needs and expectations for long-term RV living.
