Nis Hollow Estates Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lehighton, Pennsylvania region, Nis Hollow Estates, located at 312 Lower Nis Hollow Dr, Lehighton, PA 18235, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park that may offer long-term RV site opportunities. To assist local users in their evaluation, this introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Nis Hollow Estates based on the available online customer reviews and contact information. You can reach Nis Hollow Estates at (610) 377-5199 or via their mobile number +1 610-377-5199 for further inquiries.
Lehighton is a borough in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, situated in the scenic Pocono Mountains region. The environment around Lehighton is characterized by its natural beauty, with wooded areas, rolling hills, and proximity to outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, and skiing in the nearby Poconos. Nis Hollow Estates' location on Lower Nis Hollow Drive suggests a setting that is somewhat removed from the main thoroughfares, potentially offering a quieter and more secluded environment, as indicated by one of the reviews describing it as "off in the woods, quiet and laid back." This type of environment could be appealing to those seeking a peaceful long-term RV living experience surrounded by nature.
The online customer reviews for Nis Hollow Estates offer contrasting perspectives, particularly regarding the living conditions and management. One prospective resident, who had only visited during the day, noted that "the park itself seems pleasant" and described the setting as "off in the woods, quiet and laid back." They also mentioned an anticipation of "Small Town living rules apply." However, this reviewer had not yet moved in and could not comment on specific conditions such as water quality or noise levels, indicating a need for further assessment upon living there.
In stark contrast, a current resident shared significant concerns about the essential services, specifically the water quality. This reviewer stated, "I live here and it seems like every 3 months no water or to mash cloreane to even drink And they are making use pay for water we cant even drink." This is a serious allegation, suggesting significant and recurring issues with the water supply, including periods of no water and instances of excessively high chlorine levels making it undrinkable. The fact that residents are reportedly being charged for this unreliable and potentially unsafe water is a major point of concern for any prospective resident, including those in RVs considering a long-term stay.
Given these conflicting reviews, it is crucial for anyone considering Nis Hollow Estates as a potential long-term RV location to proceed with caution and conduct thorough inquiries. As a mobile home park, its primary focus is likely on providing long-term residential sites for manufactured homes. However, some mobile home parks do accommodate RVs for extended periods. To determine if Nis Hollow Estates is a suitable option for those seeking "RV parks near me," direct communication with the management is essential. Key questions to ask include:
- Does Nis Hollow Estates offer designated RV sites or allow long-term stays for RVs on any of their lots?
- What types of utility hookups are available at potential RV sites (e.g., electricity, water, sewer)?
- Is there a dump station facility accessible for RV residents?
- Are there any specific amenities or services provided for RV residents, such as laundry facilities or recreational areas?
- What are the lease or rental terms and associated costs for RV sites, including any security deposits or fees?
- What are the community rules and regulations that would apply to RV residents?
- Are there any restrictions on the size or type of RV that can be accommodated?
- Regarding the concerns raised about water quality and supply, can you provide information about the current water system, its reliability, and any measures being taken to ensure a safe and consistent water supply for all residents?
- What other essential services are provided and their reliability (e.g., waste management, electricity)?
The contrasting reviews paint a complex picture of Nis Hollow Estates. While the natural setting and potential for a quiet environment might be appealing, the serious allegations regarding water issues from a current resident cannot be ignored. Prospective RV residents must prioritize their access to essential utilities, and the reported problems with the water supply are a significant red flag that requires thorough investigation and clarification from the management.
Currently, there is no explicit promotional information available for Nis Hollow Estates based on the provided data. Any potential promotions or special offers for new residents, including RV occupants, would need to be obtained directly from the management through the provided contact numbers. It would be prudent to inquire about any incentives for extended stays or specific rates for RVs, as well as any assurances regarding the reliability and quality of essential services.
In conclusion, for individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lehighton, PA area, Nis Hollow Estates offers a location in a potentially quiet and wooded setting. However, the online customer reviews present a significant concern regarding the reliability and quality of the water supply. Prospective RV residents are strongly advised to contact the management directly at (610) 377-5199 or +1 610-377-5199 to inquire about the availability of RV sites, specific amenities, lease terms, and, critically, to address the serious allegations regarding the water situation. A thorough and direct conversation with the management is essential to make an informed decision about whether Nis Hollow Estates aligns with your needs and expectations for long-term RV living, especially concerning access to basic utilities.

Nis Hollow Estates Reviews
I've only been there during the day. I'm planning to live there soon.waiting approval from management. Which seems ridiculously excessive for such a place. But this is a new world we live in. The park itself is seems pleasant. Small Town living rules apply,I'm guessing. Can't comment on the conditions there yet. Like water or noise or whatever have you. I'm sure once I move in and live there for awhile, I'll be able to give an honest opinion of conditions there. As of now, all I can say is the park appeals to me. It's off in the woods, quiet and laid back. Looking forward to the experience.
