Northside Heights Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" and considering long-term residency in a mobile home park in the Lehighton, Pennsylvania area, Northside Heights, located at 97 Sam Brooke Cir, Lehighton, PA 18235, USA, is one option you might encounter. They can be reached by phone at (570) 386-9222 or their mobile number +1 570-386-9222 for inquiries.
When evaluating potential long-term living situations in a mobile home park, it's essential to consider various aspects such as community rules, management responsiveness, maintenance of the grounds and infrastructure, and the overall cost of living. Online reviews can sometimes offer insights into the experiences of current or former residents, providing valuable perspectives to prospective tenants. However, it's important to remember that these reviews are individual experiences and may not represent the views of all residents.
Recent feedback regarding Northside Heights raises several concerns that potential residents should carefully evaluate. One review highlights a specific instance related to community rules and enforcement. The resident describes a situation where their Christmas decorations were frozen in the ground due to winter weather. Despite this, they reportedly received a call from the office issuing a potential violation notice if the decorations were not removed promptly. This suggests a potentially strict enforcement of community rules, even in circumstances influenced by weather conditions. It underscores the importance of understanding and adhering to all park regulations.
Another, more extensive review expresses significant dissatisfaction with various aspects of Northside Heights. This resident, who states they have lived in the park for four and a half years, raises concerns about the office management, particularly the office manager, Bambi. The feedback alleges that the manager is frequently late or leaves early, purportedly due to involvement with a farmers market in Lehighton on Saturdays. This suggests potential issues with the accessibility and responsiveness of the park management.
Furthermore, this review claims that maintenance within the park is lacking, stating that "nothing gets fixed." Specific examples provided include streets and curbs that are reportedly in need of repair. Infrastructure maintenance is a crucial aspect of any residential community, and these comments suggest potential neglect in this area at Northside Heights.
The review also highlights policies regarding landscaping and tree maintenance. The resident states that they are expected to remove and replace dead trees on their rented lot, despite paying lot rent. As of July 2018, the lot rent was reportedly $410.00 per month, having increased from $360.00 per month since the resident moved there in 2014. Additionally, a $5.00 monthly fee for a dog is mentioned. The resident expresses frustration with the expectation to invest in maintaining property they do not own, especially in light of increasing lot rent.
Another significant concern raised in this review is the presence of "paving equipment sitting next to your house for almost two years." This is described as the resident's view from their backyard, and repeated requests to have the equipment moved have allegedly been ignored. This indicates a potential lack of attention to the aesthetic environment of the park and a lack of responsiveness to resident concerns regarding their immediate surroundings.
The escalating lot rent without perceived improvements is also a major point of contention in the review. The resident claims that the lot rent has increased by approximately $10.00 per year without any corresponding improvements to the park. This raises questions about the value proposition of living in Northside Heights for this particular resident.
Based on this detailed negative feedback, prospective residents of Northside Heights should be particularly diligent in their investigation. It is crucial to verify the current lot rent and any associated fees, understand the community rules and their enforcement, assess the condition of the park's infrastructure and grounds, and inquire about the process for maintenance requests and the responsiveness of the management.
When considering a mobile home park as a long-term living option, it is important to evaluate several key factors:
- Lot Rent and Fees: Obtain a clear understanding of the current lot rent, any annual increases, and all additional fees for services such as water, sewer, trash, and any amenities.
- Community Rules and Regulations: Request a copy of the park's rules and regulations regarding landscaping, pets, parking, guest policies, and any other restrictions. Understand the consequences of violating these rules.
- Maintenance and Infrastructure: Observe the condition of the roads, common areas, and infrastructure (e.g., lighting, utilities). Inquire about the park's maintenance schedule and procedures for addressing repairs.
- Management Responsiveness: If possible, speak with current residents to gauge their experiences with the park management's responsiveness to concerns and maintenance requests.
- Amenities: Determine if the park offers any amenities such as a clubhouse, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or recreational areas. Assess the condition and accessibility of these amenities.
- Safety and Security: Inquire about any security measures in place within the park.
- Lease Agreement: Carefully review the terms of the lease agreement, including the duration, renewal policies, and any clauses regarding rent increases or other charges.
Given the serious concerns raised in the available reviews, it is strongly recommended that potential residents of Northside Heights visit the park and speak directly with current residents and the management. A personal visit will allow you to assess the condition of the park firsthand and get a better understanding of the community environment and management practices. Asking specific questions based on the feedback in the reviews is advisable.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" for temporary recreational vehicle stays, Northside Heights, as a mobile home park focused on long-term residency, may not offer suitable accommodations. RV parks typically provide short-term camping facilities with amenities tailored to recreational vehicles. Individuals seeking short-term RV camping should look for specifically designated RV parks or campgrounds in the Lehighton area.
In conclusion, Northside Heights in Lehighton, PA, is a mobile home park offering long-term residency. However, recent resident feedback raises significant concerns regarding management responsiveness, maintenance, increasing lot rent without apparent improvements, and potentially strict community rules. Prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park and speaking with current residents and management, before making a decision about living in Northside Heights.

Northside Heights Reviews
Here’s a good one our Christmas decorations are frozen in the ground cause of the winter weather we have been having and now I received a call from the office saying if we don’t put them away soon we will get a violation notice just when you thought you heard everything there’s always a first
Feb 18, 2025 · Michele GoffredoBambi the office manager is lazy and is either late coming into work or leaving early. She is more concerned about the farmers market she is involved with in Lehighton on Saturdays. I have been living here for 4 1/2 years and nothing gets fixed. Streets and curbs are in need of repair. They expect you to remove and replace dead trees on your lot that we are now paying $410.00 per month for lot rent as of July 2018. Our lot rent has gone from $360.00 to $410.00 per month since we moved here in 2014 and we have to pay $5.00 per month for our dog. We don't own the property and they expect us to put equity into their land. Paving equipment sitting next to your house for almost two years, that is the wonderful view I have sitting in my back yard. Repeated requests to have paving machine moved have been ignored. Lot rent keeps going up by about $10.00 per year and no improvements ever done. If I could give zero stars I would.
Jun 24, 2018 · Terri BurkeWhen the driveways get fixed and completed as promised by Samantha in the office then my review will change, other then that they have Gaul raising the price whenever they feel like it.
