Mountain View - PA Introduce
For local residents exploring "rv parks near me" with the potential for long-term accommodation in the Walnutport, Pennsylvania area, Mountain View - PA, located at 4 Zimmer Dr W, Walnutport, PA 18088, USA, presents itself as a residential mobile home park. While the platform category is "rv parks near me," it's important to understand that mobile home parks primarily cater to long-term residents living in manufactured homes, although some might accommodate RVs on a longer-term basis. Recent customer reviews offer a mixed perspective on this community, highlighting both positive aspects of maintenance and significant concerns regarding safety and management.
The environment of Mountain View - PA, as suggested by its name, might offer scenic views, although the specific details of the surroundings are not elaborated upon in the provided reviews. One positive aspect mentioned is that the park is "very nice" and that the management takes "very good care of it, maintenance wise." This suggests that the physical upkeep of the park, in terms of grounds and infrastructure, is generally well-regarded by at least one resident. However, this positive note is contrasted by a concerning mention of two recent fires within the park due to heating issues, although it's stated that no other homes were affected. This indicates a potential vulnerability related to the age or maintenance of individual homes' systems, despite the overall park maintenance being appreciated.
In terms of services, the reviews provide limited direct information. The focus is primarily on the maintenance of the park itself, which is seen as a positive. However, a significant concern is raised regarding the perceived lack of effective management in addressing safety and behavioral issues within the community. One reviewer explicitly states a belief in a "crime issue" and recounts a friend's son being threatened with a weapon, with the implication that no adequate action was taken by management. This raises serious questions about the safety and security services provided within the park. Additionally, concerns are voiced about children running unsupervised in the streets, posing a safety hazard to vehicles, with a mention of a child reportedly being injured the previous year. The lack of visible management intervention in addressing these issues leads to a negative perception of the community's safety and the effectiveness of its management.
The features of Mountain View - PA, based on the limited and conflicting information, present a complex picture. On one hand, the park is described as "very nice" and well-maintained, suggesting a visually appealing and potentially well-kept environment. The fact that it operates as a mobile home park implies the presence of long-term residential sites, likely with connections for utilities relevant to manufactured homes, although these are not detailed. The occurrence of fires due to heating issues, while contained, could be considered an undesirable feature indicating potential risks associated with older infrastructure within individual units. The most significant features highlighted by a critical reviewer are the alleged crime issues, the perceived lack of management response to safety threats, and the concerns about child safety due to unsupervised children in roadways. These negative aspects overshadow any potential positive features related to the park's physical appearance or maintenance.
Walnutport, PA, is a borough in Northampton County, located in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. The surrounding area offers a mix of suburban and rural environments, with access to local amenities, schools, and potentially recreational areas. However, the reviews of Mountain View - PA focus almost entirely on the internal dynamics and perceived safety within the park itself, with little mention of the broader neighborhood or its advantages. For local users considering this location as one of the "rv parks near me" for potential long-term living, it's crucial to differentiate between a traditional RV park catering to short-term stays and a mobile home park with a longer-term residential focus. Mountain View - PA appears to fall into the latter category, primarily housing manufactured homes.
For local users searching for "rv parks near me" who might be considering Mountain View - PA for themselves or recommending it to friends or family, the information gleaned from the reviews presents a cautionary tale. While one reviewer notes the nice appearance and good maintenance, the serious allegations of crime, inadequate management response to safety threats, and concerns about child safety cannot be ignored. The stark contrast between the positive mention of maintenance and the severe safety concerns suggests a community where the physical upkeep might be satisfactory but the social and safety aspects are deeply troubling for at least some residents and visitors. The passionate plea from one reviewer urging potential residents to "do your research" before moving into such a community underscores the importance of looking beyond surface appearances and investigating the lived experiences of current residents.
Currently, there is no promotional information provided for Mountain View - PA. Given the serious negative feedback in one of the reviews, it's possible that the park might be facing challenges in attracting new residents. Typically, mobile home parks might offer incentives such as discounted lot rent for a period or assistance with the move-in process. However, without any such information in the provided data, it's impossible to comment on any active promotions. Potential residents would be well-advised to contact the management directly using the provided phone number to inquire about current rates, lot availability, and any incentives. More importantly, they should also seek out additional, unbiased information from current residents to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the community's safety and management practices before making any decisions.
In conclusion, Mountain View - PA in Walnutport offers a mobile home living environment where the physical maintenance of the park is reportedly good. However, significant concerns have been raised by a reviewer regarding crime issues, a perceived lack of effective management response to safety threats (including a weapon incident), and worries about child safety due to unsupervised children in roadways. These serious allegations present a stark contrast to the positive note about maintenance and should be thoroughly investigated by anyone considering this as one of their "rv parks near me" for long-term living. The lack of promotional information and the strong caution against moving into the park without thorough research highlight the need for potential residents to exercise due diligence and seek comprehensive information beyond the limited and conflicting details available in these reviews.

Very nice park. They take very good care of it, maintenance wise. Although there have been 2 fires there recently due to heating issues. No other homes were affected.
Dec 24, 2024 · mark kudelaCrime issue if you ask me! If I could leave less than a star I would. I would never live here I have a friend that does and her son was threatened with a weapon and nothing was done about it. She is worried about her children and I don’t blame her. Every time I come into this park there are kids just running out into the streets with no care that you are a vehicle that could seriously injure them. I hear a kid did get injured here just last year. I don’t suggest moving to this park if you have children. Hopefully management decides to get things in order around here and do better than what is being done now to keep everyone safe. Should be open that the public can run it at this point, that is basically what it seems like is what’s going on anyway. I have heard people while being in here talking about activity that goes on and I just feel bad for anyone like my friend who decided to live here. Be sure to do your research before moving into a community this is an example of things not always being what they seem to be.
Sep 18, 2024 · The patriotic SkulljrI recently came through to drop my friend, and they told me how extremely disappointing they are living here. As we stopped at the house, i could see why. What was concerning was the lack of supervision for children. Kids were running around freely, without any parental supervision, in areas that could be quite dangerous. They were playing near moving vehicles and unsupervised.Every time I drive through here, I see cops. You wouldn't think this community would have cops like that around here, but they do.For families looking for a safe and clean environment, Mountainview is definitely not the place. It felt chaotic, unsafe, and poorly maintained. I hope the management takes these issues seriously because, as it stands, I can not recommend this park to anyone.
Sep 17, 2024 · MagiGreat place to live, is quiet 🤫, no laud music permitted, is very clean, majority of the neighbors are nice and clean. They accept dog and cats, the rent lot cost is not excessive for the area square, has a park and gazebo, and a basketball court.
Aug 20, 2024 · Glenda GerenaThe office staff is empathetic, understanding, "Real-life" people. There are pros and cons to the rest. The community is safe and quiet with no drama. 🤫 And the stars shine So much brighter! I've lived in 2 different houses within a block of each other over the last 8 years and couldn't imagine it being any other way. 🤭😊
