The fact that the lots are level is another significant advantage, as it simplifies the setup process for RVers, often requiring minimal or no leveling adjustments. Old Fort RV Park Reviews
This park is so well thought out. The lots are GIGANTIC, level and not crowded. We enjoyed our week so much, we stayed an additional! Old Fort is close to everything! John and Jerri are the most gracious on site hosts and such a great pleasure to speak with. This is our GO TO park when in Western NC. Thanks for a wonderful stay! See you soon!
Sep 14, 2024 · Randall RWe stayed here over the Labor Day weekend and what a wonderful time we had. This is a new campground that just opened and the thought process that went into the creation of this campground was amazing. We loved the size of the lots and it is definitely level. I backed in and only had to lower my stabilizers, it is perfectly level. The bath house was very nice and having private stalls and showers made it very comfortable. Make sure you have a flashlight to get around because once the sun goes down it gets dark but the sky is beautiful full of stars. They have complimentary solo stove fire pits which we enjoyed. Beautiful area of NC and several things within 30-60 minutes of the campground. They are still finishing some projects but it didn't conflict with our relaxation over the weekend. John, the owner, is a very personable guy and we enjoyed the conversations with him. Give it a try, we will definitely be back.
Sep 03, 2024 · Brian TheeGreat new park near Asheville NC. Completely flat sites. Few amenities but if you just need an easy big rig spot with WiFi every site right off 40 this is a great place. Owner is a former full time RVer so he did it right.
Sep 25, 2024 · Stephen DuplessieStayed for 5 nights over Labor Day. New park with great amenities and friendly owner. Easy access sites with good views. Looking forward to staying there again in the near future.
Sep 17, 2024 · Patrick ThompsonGreat new campground… location is perfect for all local attractions. The campground has very large flat lots, paved roads and a really nice bath house. The owner is easy to find and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely be back to check out the new amenities currently under construction.
