Olive Avenue RV Resort Reviews
Clean park, small but nice dog area (if only all owners picked up after their pets...) and very helpful and polite employees. Small but adequate laundry room with app.
Mar 16, 2025 · Kathryn MooreIt is a great place; the RV spots are smaller but very clean, friendly neighbors, and the staff is awesome.
May 07, 2024 · william mayerWhat a hidden gem this park is. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We are full-time RV snowbirds from Ontario, Canada who grew up in Manhattan Beach. We travel coast to coast yearly and recognize a good park when we are in one. This is our first winter in CA since the virus hit and we plan to be back to this park in the winter to visit family and friends - Vista is a convenient home base. We were staying here 2 nights and have now extended our stay another 2 nights. Thank you OARR Staff - By JOnTariO
Apr 17, 2022 · Julian & Tari OrlikThe WORST, most unfriendly, and cold RV Park I have ever stayed in. They provide tall wooden blocks to every site, as the park is on a slant and the rows of identical packed-in 5th-wheels and 3/4 ton trucks, made me feel like I was staying in a storage yard. No globe lights, red checker table clothes, splashing in the pool, BBQs, or happy conversations outside and ESPECIALLY NO PETS.Traveling with an 8-year-old Italian Mastiff and an 8-week old English Bulldog puppy, I was reprimanded for having them outside (mastiff on a leash and the puppy in her crate), while I was loading the car. Despite what the rules & regulations stated, neither was allowed to be outside if I was inside working (with the doors and windows open). The dog park is a 10 x 10 bed of rocks, while other parts of the park have marked restrictions (due to 'landscaping'). The staff was downright rude, borderline disrespectful and I would have canceled my pricey week-long stay after the first night, but their restrictive 'policies' would have provided no refund and added a fee for cancellation.DON'T DO IT... the sheer and utter lack of caring and indifference from this park, not only shows through with their grounds but also with the fact that this bad review (as well as many others) will get no response from any 'concerned party'.
Oct 07, 2021 · Sarah PadlogI recently stopped into Olive RV resort to inquire about renting an RV slip for a month. As young, former marine and a purple heart recipient. I was disappointed with the way I was treated by the management team specifically Jeff and Eric. Both men who appeared to be older gentlemen spoke to me in a dismissive, condescending manner which was shocking, given that I was generally interested in securing a spot. What made the experience even more disheartening was discovering that Jeff like myself is a former marine. I expected a sense of camaraderie or at least basic respect, but instead I felt completely disrespected. Being spoken to in such a way, especially by someone who shares the same military background. That's a very negative impression.I hope the new management team that recently took over, considers treating all potential customers with the respect they deserve, especially those who have served their country. Unfortunately based on this experience I cannot recommend olive RV resort.
