Pahokee Beach RV Resort Introduce
If you are looking for 'RV parks near me' in the Pahokee, Florida area, Pahokee Beach RV Resort is located at 297 W Main St, Pahokee, FL 33476, USA. Situated in Pahokee, a city in Palm Beach County, the resort's location offers proximity to Lake Okeechobee, known for its vastness and opportunities for fishing and boating. The surrounding area may also provide access to local amenities and the unique character of the Glades region of Florida.
The environment of Pahokee Beach RV Resort is difficult to assess definitively based on the drastically contrasting customer reviews. One reviewer strongly advises against this location, suggesting it is not recommended at all. This negative assessment paints a picture of a potentially undesirable environment. In contrast, another reviewer describes it as "a great place to live" and "peaceful," indicating a positive living experience for at least one long-term resident. These conflicting views highlight the subjective nature of environmental perception and the possibility of varied experiences within the same RV park. Prospective visitors should consider these differing opinions when evaluating the potential environment of Pahokee Beach RV Resort.
The services offered at Pahokee Beach RV Resort also receive mixed feedback through the customer reviews. The negative review details several issues encountered, including a payment made via Zelle to a manager named Tim, which the reviewer felt was "very informal" and caused unease. There were also mentions of disagreements regarding the number of occupants, additional fees for late arrival despite extenuating circumstances (pregnancy), and a power outage at the site that resulted in food spoilage and damage to personal equipment. Furthermore, the reviewer reported being charged for metered electricity usage despite being initially told that everything was included. These experiences suggest potential inconsistencies or issues with the resort's service delivery and billing practices. Conversely, the positive review mentions that the manager, Carol, "takes good care of the people and the property" and is "very friendly." This indicates that some residents experience positive management support and property maintenance. The discrepancy in these accounts underscores the importance of direct communication with the resort to understand the current services and management practices.
The features of Pahokee Beach RV Resort are not explicitly listed, but inferences can be made from the reviews. The mention of "bigger lots" in the negative review suggests that the park offers sites of varying sizes. The reference to a power outage indicates the presence of electrical hookups, a standard feature in RV parks. The issue with the electrical grounding, as described by the negative reviewer, points to the existence of such infrastructure but also raises concerns about its maintenance or proper installation. The positive review's mention of "affordable rent" and flexibility with prices suggests that cost-effectiveness is a potential feature for some residents. The negative review's comment about the park being "literally a down low senior citizen community with very run down RVs" offers a glimpse into the demographic and potentially the condition of some of the accommodations within the resort. The positive reviewer's experience of getting their "full deposit back" upon moving out suggests a standard practice regarding security deposits for long-term stays. The negative reviewer also noted the proximity to a library within a 3-minute walk, which, while not a feature of the RV park itself, might be considered a local amenity of the location.
Promotional information for Pahokee Beach RV Resort is not directly available in the provided customer reviews. RV parks often have varying rates depending on the length of stay, the type of site, and the season. The negative review mentions paying $950 for an "all included" rate through Zelle, which later seemed to be contradicted by a charge for electricity usage. The positive review mentions "affordable rent" and price flexibility, suggesting that the resort may offer different pricing structures or negotiate rates. To obtain accurate and current promotional information, it is essential to contact Pahokee Beach RV Resort directly at (561) 951-4663 or +1 561-951-4663. Inquiring about any special offers for short-term or long-term stays, seasonal discounts, or any included amenities would be advisable.
The stark contrast between the two customer reviews for Pahokee Beach RV Resort presents a complex picture for potential visitors or residents searching for 'RV parks near me'. One review details a litany of negative experiences, including issues with management communication, unexpected charges, and problems with utilities. The other review offers a positive perspective, highlighting friendly management, affordability, and a peaceful living environment. This significant divergence suggests that individual experiences at the resort may vary greatly. Prospective visitors should carefully consider both perspectives and conduct their own due diligence, which may include contacting the resort directly with specific questions and potentially seeking additional reviews from other sources to gain a more comprehensive understanding of what to expect at Pahokee Beach RV Resort.

Pahokee Beach RV Resort Reviews
LOOK FOR THE PAHOKEE MARINA CAMPGROUND, because this place is not recommended at all and the other resort is literally right behind this one. Not to mention it’s cheaper than I paid.. Since I got here I was told I’m getting into the bigger lots and paid $950 for all included through Zelle to the manager Tim, which made me uneasy since I was terrified I would loose my money.. very informal. The day I got here the onsite manager Carol came and told us we had too many trees.. then she asked over three times how many children we had… on different days.. IF Tim asked while making reservation (which I do not recall) we had 2 living with us then I gave birth to my son while living here… and I have a step son that sees us once a month but that’s none of their business is it? Well Carol told us that she felt she couldn’t trust us even though I willingly explained that to her then she told us to tell the neighbors we only have two kids because no one likes children see the irony in that? [I don’t like cats and they roam around the sites like flies while Carol goes to Walmart to feed them all but who am I to judge?] I left my RV here the day I moved in and went back to the city where I was expected to give birth I asked how late I could come because I can’t drive and was informed if we got here after 5PM we would be charged $65 even though I explained I was pregnant and had to wait for relatives to be available for the move, they have no empathy for people and their living situations. That same week my husband came back even though I was due any minute to find our site with no power, had to throw away all the food and how ironic the power outage blew my inverter. I have a 2021 Ford Thor, bought it brand new. The box is not grounded properly and the electrician said it’s not needed but I know it is because the electrician opened the box in front of me and Im a quoter for an electrical company.. Never had this happen before.. Ever. I was only here a month and Carol came to my site trespassing and smoking a cigarette numerous times while my children were playing outdoors which made me very uncomfortable. Four days before I’m supposed to leave I get a call from Tim stating that if I knew I’m supposed to leave the day before I was expecting to leave because they apparently run their campground like a hotel or apartment rental and are expecting people on our site that day even though it’s not stipulated on the contract and I asked what would happen if I left at 11am the day I expected to like every campground and Tim said they would charge me $65 but it was not an option for us so I told him he owes me $65 because it’s not stipulated and they are kicking me out the day before.. Then Carol comes to tell us we have to pay meter and it calculated at $3000 but it was because of what happened in the beginning of the month so she was gonna charge us $50 but I was told everything was included. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a RESORT where service should be considered and I’ve stayed at over 5 Resorts in the last three years. This is literally a down low senior citizen community with very run down RVs and poor quality people. The ONLY part I loved was going to the library which was 3minutes walking distance and met a lot of nice families there from the local neighborhood.
Feb 26, 2023 · Barbie ParedesThis is a great place to live. I lived here for a year and never had any problems. Caroll the manager here is very friendly she takes good care of the people and the property and she doesn't put up with any bs. The rent is affordable and their flexible with the prices too. The owner is the nicest guy I took care of the place I was staying in and I got my full deposit back when I moved out (and hugs from all my neighbors). Overall its a peaceful place to live.
Feb 27, 2023 · Brandon MaysNice location, grounds keeper is very reliable, cleanest area on this side of town. Will say lost few starts because I moved in a small trailer and only stayed one month and was disappointed my deposit was not returned. Other than that would recommend family and friends if they ever need a place to stay with short notice.
Jun 21, 2021 · AiWWe called reserved a spot for March 15th but now we aren't getting transferred and called to cancel on March 4th and we were told we are not getting our money back at all. WOW that's 850.00 just out the window! That's very bad customer service and we will be telling everyone about this experience along with all the cats at this park, I guess they have to pay for the cat foodsome how.
Mar 05, 2023 · Terriena McDonaldRead above, they don't serve food here and woman runs it. No big dogs, like over 30#.Great place for area.Don't tolerate drugs or open containers. Nice people, fenced, gate guarded. Quiet and Sherrifs parked in the town all time. Close to great levee access. 30 miles to Palm Beach at 1/5 the price.
