Palm Beach Traveler RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Palm Beach Traveler RV Park, a potentially suitable option for RV travelers seeking a stay in Lantana, Florida. If your search under the "RV parks near me" category has brought you here, Palm Beach Traveler RV Park offers a location within a residential area with a mix of features and considerations based on recent customer feedback. This detailed introduction aims to provide local users with a comprehensive overview of the park, including its environment, services, and features, to help you determine if it meets your needs for a short-term or potentially longer RV stay.
Environment and Ambiance:
Palm Beach Traveler RV Park is described as a "descent park in the middle of a residential area." This location offers the convenience of being situated within an established community, potentially providing easy access to local amenities and services outside the park. The park is noted to often be "very full," suggesting its popularity and potentially a close-knit community feel. The layout of the sites is mostly staggered, which can offer a bit more privacy and space compared to strictly linear arrangements. A significant positive aspect of the environment is the presence of "nice concrete patio areas" at each site, providing a clean and usable outdoor living space for RVers.
While the park is generally well-regarded in terms of site layout and utilities, one reviewer mentioned a "pet problem," citing "deadbeat pet owners" as a source of concern. This issue manifested in a large barking dog in the clubhouse, disrupting other guests. Additionally, the presence of "lots of feral cats" is noted as a problem, attributed to irresponsible pet owners. This is an important environmental factor to consider, especially for those with pets or those who are sensitive to noise and the presence of feral animals. It suggests that while the park itself has rules, enforcement or the behavior of some pet owners can impact the overall environment.
On a more positive note, despite the proximity of residents ("close, but not too close"), each lot is reported to have "plenty of nice space," indicating that while the park might be full, individual sites offer adequate room for RVs and some personal space. The daily emptying of dumpsters ensures that waste management is well-handled, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the park.
Services and Amenities:
Palm Beach Traveler RV Park offers several notable services and amenities. One of the most praised features is the "really adequate electric," described as "the best we’ve seen in our 15 years of 180 days per year camping all over the U.S." This is a significant advantage for RVers who rely on consistent and sufficient power for their appliances and comfort. The water supply is also described as "descent."
The park provides a "descent clubhouse," which likely serves as a common area for social gatherings or activities. A laundry facility is available with four washers and four dryers, all priced "very reasonably," offering a convenient and affordable option for guests to take care of their laundry needs. The positive mention of daily dumpster emptying indicates a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and preventing overflow.
The management is described by a long-term resident as "quite kind and accommodating." This positive feedback about the management suggests that guests can expect helpful and responsive service during their stay, which can greatly enhance the overall experience.
Features and Highlights:
One of the standout features of Palm Beach Traveler RV Park is the quality of its utility services, particularly the excellent electric supply. The nice concrete patio areas at each site provide a comfortable and clean outdoor space. The reasonable pricing of the laundry facilities is another practical benefit for travelers. The kind and accommodating management also contribute significantly to a positive guest experience.
The staggered layout of the sites and the adequate space within each lot are also noteworthy features, providing a degree of privacy and comfort despite the park often being full. The daily waste management service helps maintain a clean environment.
The location within a residential area offers potential convenience for accessing local amenities outside the park, although specific details of these amenities are not provided in the reviews.
Potential Considerations:
Prospective guests should be aware of the reported pet issues, including the presence of feral cats and instances of disruptive pet behavior. If you are traveling with pets, it would be wise to inquire about the park's specific pet policies and how they are enforced. If you are sensitive to noise or concerned about feral animals, this is an important factor to consider.
While the park is described as "descent," it's important to manage expectations, as it might not offer the extensive resort-style amenities found in some other RV parks. The focus seems to be on providing comfortable sites and essential services in a convenient location.
Promotional Information:
The provided information does not include any specific promotional offers or discounts for Palm Beach Traveler RV Park. To inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential long-term stay discounts, it is recommended to contact the park directly at (561) 967-3139 or +1 561-967-3139. When you call, you can also ask about any specific policies regarding pets and any measures the park has in place to address the issues raised in the reviews.
Given that the park is often full, it would be advisable to book your site in advance, especially during peak travel seasons in Florida.
Location and Accessibility:
Palm Beach Traveler RV Park is located at 6159 Lawrence Rd, Lantana, FL 33462, USA. Lantana is a town in Palm Beach County, Florida, situated on the Atlantic coast. The location on Lawrence Road within a residential area suggests that the park is integrated into the local community. This could offer proximity to local shops, restaurants, and other services. Lantana is also located near major transportation routes, providing access to other parts of Palm Beach County and South Florida.
The proximity to the coast means that beaches and related recreational activities are likely within a reasonable driving distance. Palm Beach County is also known for its numerous golf courses, parks, and cultural attractions.
Why Consider Palm Beach Traveler RV Park?
Palm Beach Traveler RV Park might be a good option for RVers looking for a park with excellent utility services, particularly electric, and nice concrete patios in the Lantana, Florida area. The reasonable laundry facilities and the kind management are also positive aspects. The location within a residential area offers convenience. However, prospective guests should be aware of the reported pet issues and consider if this might impact their stay.
Recommendation:
If you are considering Palm Beach Traveler RV Park for your stay in Lantana, Florida, it is recommended that you contact the park management directly to inquire about current rates and availability. If you have pets, be sure to ask about their pet policies and any specific rules or areas to be aware of. Palm Beach Traveler RV Park Reviews
Descent park in the middle of a residential area. Very full, but nice sites mostly in a staggered layout, all with nice concrete patio areas, and with really adequate electric, the best we’ve seen in our 15 years of 180 days per year camping all over the U.S. Water is descent as well. But… there is a pet problem as always with deadbeat pet owners. There is a descent clubhouse, and laundry with 4 washers and 4 dryers all priced very reasonably. The dumpsters get emptied daily so they are never overstuffed. Residents are close, but not to close. Each lot has plenty of nice space. We went to use the laundry a couple of nights ago, and had to deal with a large barking dog in the clubhouse while the owner watched television. There are lots of feral cats that need to be trapped and disposed of visit let loose by deadbeat pet owners, those idiot humans are the only negative we have experienced so far.
Jan 28, 2025 · Rodney BarnettI’ve found the management to be quite kind and accommodating. The park is well maintained and we like our chosen spot. We’ve been here going in two years.
Mar 17, 2025 · Elaine DavieI absolutely love this park the Location is PRIMO close to I95 which is vital to be able to hop on & go just about anywhere with ease & the Turnpike is close as well due to an entry road being in the near vicinity, which is rather unique in itself. The Grounds are well kept with the landscaping well thought out to include many Tropically indigenous plants & trees which create such a nice overall feel of how a stay in the Tropics should be🌻🌺✨🌴 The Maintenance gentleman lives on-site & is extremely knowledgeable & helpful & just so genuinely compassionate that you immediately know you're in GOOD hands in the event you may need some assistance be it electrical or otherwise. The Park Manager Cynthia "runs a tight ship" with Southern Charm & finesse with a BIG heart for all of the Visitors as well as Residents however, her Professionalism is impressively maintained - never wavering away from the values she holds dearly which navigate her control in all that is necessary to assure the quality in this park she has worked so diligently to achieve & PROUDLY SO!The Clubhouse, which encompasses the Laundry Room, Bathrooms (Showers) are well kept & maintained & pretty fancy compared to others I have personally observed... And the HOT water is HOT HOT HOT which is widely sought after for any Park bathroom for sure! Another thing I found to be really nice, is that there is a FULL, newly renovated Kitchen with all amenities, including a refrigerator which may be used by the guests as well in the event that it is needed... The Clubhouse is is equipped with comfortable sofas - chairs, Large TV w/Cable & boardgames which have been supplied for the guests to borrow & return or play at one of the long tables, inside the Clubhouse, which is so conveniently wonderful for a family to make LOTS of fun, memorable moments during their stay!Annnnd last but definitely not leastb - the Park is extremely SAFE as it is monitored closely by Management, Police & Long-term Residents which is EVERYTHING as I'm sure you will agree! The location is safe in general with it being tucked away like a hidden gem between several nice neighborhoods which are mainly inhabited by retired or working class families.I just had to return to add this because it's so amazingly wonderful - there is a BRAND NEW pool on the property which is absolutely beautiful & just so lovely with it's modern design 💖✨🌻🏊♀️🌴🤽♂️😎
Oct 17, 2024 · Delaina TL RWe have lived here full time for a few months now and we love it here. It's really quiet, clean and kept in good shape. (Club house is older but we don't use it, or the laundry, so can't say anything about that) Most sites have plenty of room for patio furniture, awnings, slide outs, potted plants and anything else you might need. You really don't feel like you are on top of your neighbors. And Cynthia, the site manager, is the best! Monthly rates are 1500 for extra large sites and 1300 for regular, but almost all of them are a good size unless your RV is over 40 feet.
Sep 22, 2023 · C SThis is a great RV park. Location is in the center of everywhere you'd like to go. We are long-term and have had no issues. Cynthia, the property manager, is an amazing, understanding, and kind person. The rates are decent as well.
