With a phone number of (813) 782-8685 or +1 813-782-8685, this RV resort offers a blend of long-term community and short-term relaxation for visitors seeking a comfortable stay in the Sunshine State.
Based on customer feedback, Palm View Gardens RV Resort presents a mixed but generally positive experience. One long-term resident of two years expresses a strong affinity for the park, highlighting the friendly atmosphere, the welcoming nature of the residents (including fellow dog owners), and a sense of safety. This resident also praises the reasonable rates, the nice pool, and the opportunity for daily walks within a safe environment. They commend the helpfulness and friendliness of the office staff and managers, acknowledging the seasonal fluctuations in activity, which is common in many Florida RV parks.
However, another recent visitor who booked a 30-day stay to visit friends and relax raised some concerns regarding internal traffic speed within the park. They noted inconsistent enforcement of the posted 10mph and 15mph speed limits, with some drivers frequently exceeding these limits. This visitor expressed disappointment that their repeated mentions to the office and observations of park workers not addressing the issue seemed to have little impact. They emphasized the narrowness of the roads and the potential safety hazard this speeding poses to pedestrians, recounting a near miss with a contractor's vehicle. This led them to question their initial interest in potentially purchasing a property in the resort for future snowbird stays.
This same visitor also pointed out instances of leash rule violations, observing individuals with unleashed dogs being transported on carts within the park. Additionally, they mentioned a discrepancy regarding a requested pond-backing spot that was supposedly reserved but remained largely unoccupied during their entire stay. These issues, combined with concerns about new rules for existing homes (including restrictions on concrete pads and carports), contributed to their hesitation about future long-term commitments to Palm View Gardens RV Resort.
Despite these concerns, the visitor did acknowledge a significant positive aspect of their stay: the great neighbors they encountered. This highlights the potential for a strong sense of community within the park, echoing the sentiment of the long-term resident.
Considering the available information, Palm View Gardens RV Resort offers a welcoming environment, particularly for those seeking a pet-friendly "RV park near me". The presence of a pool is a notable amenity for relaxation and recreation. The resort appears to cater to both long-term residents and short-term visitors, potentially making it a suitable option for those looking to visit the Zephyrhills area for varying durations.
The positive feedback regarding the friendly community and helpful staff suggests a well-managed park overall. The long-term resident's enthusiasm speaks volumes about the positive living experience many enjoy at Palm View Gardens RV Resort.
However, prospective visitors should be aware of the reported issues concerning speeding within the park and the inconsistent enforcement of traffic regulations. If safety and adherence to park rules are a top priority, it may be beneficial to inquire with the management about their current efforts to address these concerns.
The mention of new rules for existing homes might be relevant for individuals considering purchasing property within the resort for seasonal or permanent living. It would be prudent to seek clarification from the management regarding these regulations and their potential impact.
While the reviews do not explicitly mention specific services or promotional offers, the presence of a pool and the pet-friendly policy can be considered attractive features. The resort's location in Zephyrhills provides access to local amenities and attractions in the surrounding area.
In conclusion, Palm View Gardens RV Resort offers a community-oriented and pet-friendly option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Zephyrhills, Florida. The positive experiences of long-term residents and the presence of a pool are notable advantages. However, potential visitors should be mindful of the reported concerns regarding speeding and rule enforcement within the park and consider these factors when making their decision. Contacting the resort directly at (813) 782-8685 or +1 813-782-8685 can provide the most up-to-date information and allow for specific inquiries regarding current policies and availability.

Palm View Gardens RV Resort Reviews
I've been here 2 years and I'm about to sign for another year. I love this place. I live here with my dog. She loves to say "hi" to everyone even the other dogs. I feel relatively safe here. Their rates are very reasonable. I see a lots of complaints in here. If you don't like it, move. If you like it stay. I love it here and no plans on moving anytime soon. The pool is nice. I take walks everyday with my dog I feel very safe. The office staff and managers are very helpful and nice. It gets busy during the season months and really quiet during off season, but that's anywhere. Any place you live your going to find Karen's.
Feb 20, 2025 · Leslie SzendyBooked a 30 day stay to visit friends and just to relax.Only complaints I have is there are posted speed limits posted at 10mph then 15mph BUT a 1/3 of the people think that 20-25+mph is perfectly fine I had mentioned to the office a few times and I’ve seen workers on their carts see this and say nothing! Disappointing! (The back row where we were was the worst)It only takes one person to walk around the front of their vehicle and get hit by one of these speeders (as almost happened to me with a contractor) this is a nice park but roads are narrow no reason to speed through here NONE!I feel the management should crack down more on this.NO REASON TO SPEED THROUGH ANY RV PARK NONE!Leash rule but saw someone (won’t mention who) on their carts with 2 dogs an no leash! Also I asked for a spot that backs up to the pond an was told the 2 available spots were spoken for but only one got used for 3-4 days the whole 30 days we were here!Wife and I discussed buying a place in here to snowbird next season but second guessing it for a few reasons1. New rules for existing homes (no more concrete pads, no more carports, etc) some make sense some don’t!2. SPEEDERS (feel nothing is being done and will not take a chance of my wife getting hurt or myself)3. Floods easy(ON A GOOD NOTE WE HAD GREAT NEIGHBORS)
Jan 04, 2025 · mike petersI stayed at this park three years in a row. Last time was 7 years ago. We returned this year and with 2 weeks left on our stay. We left and went to another park. The one lady at the front desk was harder to deal with than a angry rattle snake. We were told to remove our portable dog fence which was fine. Then seen that staff member who lives there had the same thing up. I would not stay at this park if it was offered for free. Attitude of staff is horrible. Was told by a year round Tennant that they were afraid to say anything for fear of retaliation. What a shame was such a nice park 7 years ago.
Feb 20, 2025 · William SabaFriendly residents, makes me feel like I am welcomed. Clean facilities and grounds. Great walking paths. Activities that keep me involved and opportunities to socialize with other guests. Loved site I was in, sun when I wanted it, shade too when I had to much sun.
Feb 23, 2025 · Joy SeekersWe had not planned to stay at this RV park but life gives up bumps. We planned our three week trip around Florida about 11-months ago and had all our stops booked and confirmed. Then Florida State Parks contacted us about five days before we were scheduled to arrive at a certain Park and said they had to cancel our reservations. No reason why, no offer to help at another State Park, nada. Naturally, this time of season all of the nearby State Parks were booked and three RV Parks we called said they were not renting to short stay travelers, they only rented for a week since it was their peak season. Fourth call got us here and confirmed for two nights. RVTRIPWIZARD tried to take us in the exit, but fortunately, we saw the main entrance down the road. Check in was just identifying ourselves. No map, no instructions, no wifi, but we were lead to our site. It was right next to a 40, on a grass/sand strip, right next to the exit and a main four way intersection. As you may imagine, it was loud but fortunately, my CPAP drowned the noise out. This Park looks to be 75% mobile home, 20% large RVs probably staying for the season, and 5% to short stay folks like ourselves. For the money we got full hookups, no wifi, and no one on our passenger side but the Park road and the main public intersection with the noise. This Park worked for us since we really had no other options but knowing what we know now, we wont be back. We camped at Palm View Gardens in a Travel Trailer.
