Paradise Bay Mobile Home Introduce
For local users seeking "RV Parks Near Me" that offer a long-term coastal living experience, Paradise Bay Mobile Home, located in Indian Beach, NC 28575, USA, presents a well-established community. Situated in a prime location, Paradise Bay has been a fixture for over 30 years, providing a residential setting with convenient access to the natural beauty and local attractions of the Crystal Coast.
While Paradise Bay is identified as a mobile home park, it's relevant to the "RV Parks Near Me" category for individuals who are seeking a longer-term or permanent site for their RV or are considering the option of purchasing a mobile home within a community setting. It's important to note the distinction: mobile home parks typically offer lots for rent or lease where residents place their manufactured homes, often with the intention of establishing a more permanent residence compared to the transient nature of typical RV parks catering to short-term stays.
According to customer reviews, Paradise Bay boasts an "Excellent location" with significant advantages for those who value coastal living. One of the key highlights is its proximity to the waterfront. The park includes a "boat ramp to intercostal water way," offering direct access for boating and water-based recreational activities. This is a significant amenity for fishing enthusiasts, boat owners, and anyone who enjoys exploring the local waterways.
Beach access is another major draw, with the beach being "literally 500 feet at most from the park entrance." This incredibly convenient access allows residents to easily enjoy the sandy shores of Indian Beach for swimming, sunbathing, walking, and other beach activities. The review also mentions that "with a permit you can drive on the beach," which could be an attractive feature for those who enjoy the convenience of vehicular beach access for fishing, picnics, or simply enjoying the coastal scenery from their vehicles.
Beyond the natural amenities, the location of Paradise Bay also offers practical advantages. The review highlights the close proximity to essential services, noting that the "Indian Beach Police and Fire departments are the very best and only 2 minutes away." This provides residents with a sense of security and peace of mind, knowing that emergency services are readily accessible.
Furthermore, the area is known for its culinary offerings, with "The best seafood on the Island minutes away, and lots of choices." This suggests that residents of Paradise Bay have easy access to fresh and delicious local seafood, enhancing their coastal living experience.
However, it's crucial to consider all aspects of the customer feedback. One long-term resident of over 30 years points out a concern regarding the cost of living within the park. They mention that the "price goes up annually with no additional amenities." This suggests a trend of increasing lot rental fees without a corresponding increase in services or facilities offered by the park. Notably, the review states that in the past year, an amenity was "taken away ('for tennant costs savings') yet the price still increased..." This feedback indicates a potential issue with the value proposition of residing in Paradise Bay, as costs are rising while amenities may be stagnant or even decreasing.
Despite this concern about pricing and amenities, the positive aspects of the location – the boat ramp, beach access, proximity to seafood, and the nearby emergency services – remain significant advantages. For local users seeking long-term accommodation in a coastal setting, these factors could still make Paradise Bay an attractive option, particularly if they highly value waterfront access and beach proximity.
The review also offers an interesting perspective for those seeking shorter stays, suggesting that "if you can get s vacation rental there, it's the best bang for the buck." This implies that some mobile homes within Paradise Bay might be available for short-term rental, potentially offering a more affordable vacation option compared to traditional beach house rentals. However, the primary focus of Paradise Bay appears to be long-term residency.
To understand the current rental rates, specific amenities offered (beyond the boat ramp and beach access), and the availability of lots or potential vacation rentals, interested local users should contact Paradise Bay Mobile Home directly. You can reach them by phone at (252) 247-5478 or via their mobile number +1 252-247-5478. Speaking with the park management will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding residency requirements, fees, and the overall living experience.
In conclusion, Paradise Bay Mobile Home in Indian Beach, NC, offers a long-established coastal living opportunity with notable advantages such as a boat ramp providing access to the intercostal waterway, very close beach access, and proximity to local seafood and essential services. However, potential residents should be aware of the feedback regarding increasing annual prices without corresponding amenity improvements. Weighing the prime location and access to coastal activities against the concerns about cost and amenities will be crucial for local users considering Paradise Bay as their long-term or potential short-term coastal living destination.

Great place for 30+ years. However, price goes up annually with no additional amenities. To point, in fact, this year an amenity was taken away ("for tennant costs savings") yet the price still increased...
