I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. We moved our brand new camper there in July. Ended up moving it to a different campground because we didn't feel safe there and didn't feel like our camper was safe there either. Our power and propane were being used by someone while we were not there. I went to check on things because someone who lives there told me our water heater was making a noise. First of all, we flipped it off when we left there, and our propane was also turned off. When I got there, the water heater was turned on, and our propane was used up.I also found out that people were allowed to sleep in their car at the lot next to ours. There was a pile of chairs and other things being stored under our stairs. When we called the campground manager, she made up 500 different stories about those people sleeping in their cars.We were told it was a "domestic" situation, and that was the only reason she allowed it. If it was such a situation, why were they put next to our lot, which is right when you turn in???? Why were they not put at one of the other available lots further back so they couldn't easily be seen?We have asked for a partial refund because we don't want to stay at a place like this.....where we don't feel safe and we are sure our camper wasn't safe. They refuse to give us any type of refund. That shows you what type of business they run. I even emailed the owner and was ignored.STAY FAR AWAY!!! THERE ARE TOO MANY OTHER PLACES THAT ARE CLEANER, NICER, AND DEFINITELY SAFER.I see the manager has already replied to this review. Regardless, we have photos of the stuff that had been stored at our camper. We were even told by the maintenance man's wife that the manager told her not to say anything to us about what was going on with the people sleeping in their cars.I will continue to warn people about this place!!!!! There are lots of places to post reviews to warn people! - Kristi Moulds

Paradise Island RV Park Introduce

If you are searching for "rv parks near me" in the Lincoln, Alabama area, Paradise Island RV Park, located at 735 Honda Dr, Lincoln, AL 35096, USA, presents itself as a potential option. However, it is crucial to approach this park with a balanced perspective, considering the contrasting experiences shared by recent customers in their online reviews. These reviews highlight both significant concerns regarding safety and management practices, as well as positive feedback about cleanliness and responsiveness.

The environment of Paradise Island RV Park appears to be a point of contention in the provided reviews. One reviewer expresses serious concerns about safety and security, leading them to relocate their brand new camper to a different campground shortly after moving in. This suggests potential issues within the park that made them feel their persons and property were at risk. Specific environmental details contributing to this feeling of unsafety are not explicitly mentioned, but the subsequent accounts of unauthorized utility usage and questionable management decisions likely contribute to this negative perception of the park's overall environment.

In contrast, another reviewer describes the area as a "Nice and quite little area back here," suggesting that for some, the location offers a peaceful setting. This reviewer also notes that "Most areas have a nice concrete slab to open your door up to or some lots have previous built decks," indicating potentially well-maintained individual sites with desirable features. The mention of "sunsets are the best!!" also hints at a pleasant visual aspect of the park's surroundings during certain times of the day. Therefore, the environment might be perceived differently depending on individual experiences and specific locations within the park.

The services at Paradise Island RV Park elicit strongly contrasting opinions in the provided reviews. The negative review details alarming incidents that suggest a lack of security and oversight. The claim that "Our power and propane were being used by someone while we were not there" raises serious concerns about the integrity and security of utility connections within the park. The fact that the water heater was found turned on after being explicitly turned off, coupled with the depletion of propane, strongly implies unauthorized access and usage of a camper's resources. This lack of security would undoubtedly be a major deterrent for anyone seeking "rv parks near me" where they expect their property to be safe and their resources protected.

Furthermore, the negative review highlights issues with the park management's handling of concerns. The account of people "allowed to sleep in their car at the lot next to ours" and the subsequent storage of items under the reviewer's stairs point to a lack of clear policies and enforcement regarding guest behavior and site maintenance. The reviewer's dissatisfaction with the campground manager's explanations, describing them as "500 different stories," and the perceived lack of concern for the safety and well-being of other residents further undermine confidence in the park's management. The refusal to provide a partial refund to a dissatisfied customer who felt unsafe also suggests a business practice that prioritizes financial gain over addressing legitimate safety concerns.

Conversely, the positive review offers a starkly different perspective on the management, stating that "The owners are quick to respond to any questions or problems that arise." This suggests that at least some residents have experienced responsive and helpful management. This discrepancy in experiences could indicate inconsistencies in management practices, varying levels of attention to different residents or issues, or simply different individual perceptions.

The features of Paradise Island RV Park also present a mixed picture. The negative review implicitly suggests a lack of security and potentially inadequate site management, as evidenced by the unauthorized utility usage and the allowance of individuals sleeping in cars on adjacent lots. The storage of "a pile of chairs and other things being stored under our stairs" indicates a lack of enforcement of site cleanliness and potentially an encroachment on personal space.

On the other hand, the positive review mentions desirable features such as "nice concrete slab" on most sites and "previous built decks" on some lots, suggesting that the infrastructure of individual RV sites can be well-appointed and offer added convenience. The description of the area as "quiet" is also a positive feature for those seeking a peaceful environment. The mention of "sunsets are the best!!" hints at a pleasant aesthetic aspect of the location.

Currently, there is no explicit promotional information provided in the reviews. RV parks sometimes offer discounts for long-term stays, seasonal specials, or loyalty programs. To inquire about any potential promotional offers at Paradise Island RV Park, local users are advised to:

  • Attempt to find contact information for the park management through online searches and inquire directly about any current specials or rates for both short-term and long-term stays.
  • Check online RV park directories or booking websites where Paradise Island RV Park might be listed, as these platforms sometimes feature promotional pricing.
  • Look for any official website or social media pages for the park, as these channels might advertise special offers or seasonal deals.

For local users searching for "rv parks near me" in Lincoln, Alabama, Paradise Island RV Park presents a complex picture based on the available reviews. While one reviewer experienced significant safety concerns, unauthorized utility usage, and dissatisfaction with management, leading them to leave the park, another reviewer praises the cleanliness, responsiveness of the owners, and the quiet environment. The presence of concrete slabs and decks on some sites are also noted as positive features. Given these starkly contrasting experiences, prospective RVers and long-term residents should exercise significant caution and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision.

It is strongly recommended that anyone considering Paradise Island RV Park should:

  • Attempt to contact the park management directly to discuss the concerns raised in the negative review and to understand their policies regarding security, utility management, and guest conduct.
  • Visit the park in person to assess the current environment, the condition of the sites, and the overall atmosphere.
  • If possible, try to speak with current residents to get a broader range of opinions and experiences regarding the park's safety, management, and amenities.
  • Compare Paradise Island RV Park with other "rv parks near me" in the Lincoln, AL area to ensure they are choosing a location that meets their safety, comfort, and security expectations.

In conclusion, Paradise Island RV Park in Lincoln, AL, offers a location with potentially pleasant environmental aspects and some well-appointed sites. However, the serious allegations of safety concerns, unauthorized utility usage, and questionable management practices detailed in one review cannot be ignored. While another reviewer offers a more positive perspective on cleanliness and management responsiveness, the significant discrepancies highlight the importance of thorough personal investigation before committing to a stay or residency at Paradise Island RV Park.
