Parkwood Communities Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Wildwood, Florida area, Parkwood Communities, located at 414 Spring Lake Rd, Wildwood, FL 34785, USA, presents itself as a potentially welcoming residential option. While primarily operating as a mobile home park, it may also accommodate RVs for long-term or semi-permanent stays. You can contact Parkwood Communities at (888) 520-8069 or +1 888-520-8069 to inquire about the availability of RV sites and the specific amenities offered to RV owners.
Based on the available customer feedback, the environment at Parkwood Communities appears to be a significant positive aspect. One visitor described it as "a great place" and highlighted the friendly atmosphere. This suggests a welcoming and neighborly environment, which can be a key factor for individuals seeking a comfortable and sociable living situation, whether in a mobile home or an RV. The mention of fishing ponds where one is "guaranteed to catch something" indicates a recreational amenity that can be particularly appealing to families and individuals who enjoy fishing and spending time outdoors.
A resident of Parkwood Communities further corroborated the friendly atmosphere, stating, "The neighbors are the best!" This strong sense of community among residents can contribute significantly to the overall quality of life within the park. The resident also emphasized the convenience of the location, noting that it is "convenient to everything you would want or need." This suggests that Parkwood Communities is situated in a location that offers easy access to essential services, shopping, and other local attractions, which can be a major advantage for long-term residents and potentially for RVers seeking a well-located base.
However, the resident also raised some concerns regarding the affordability of the lot rent, mentioning that while it is "supposedly one of the lowest in the area," it can still be "hard to manage for those of us on disability or SSI." This is an important consideration for potential residents, particularly those on fixed incomes, and suggests that while relatively affordable, the cost of living within Parkwood Communities may still pose a financial strain for some. It would be prudent for prospective residents to inquire about the current lot rent or RV site fees and understand any potential for future increases.
The resident also provided a somewhat critical assessment of the management, stating, "Management is not the best but it has been my experience as long as they get their money they are satisfied. That is all that matters to them." This feedback suggests a transactional relationship with the management, where financial aspects may take precedence over other concerns. While this is just one individual's experience, it is a point worth considering for potential residents who value a more engaged and responsive management style.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Parkwood Communities' friendly environment and convenient location could be attractive to RV owners seeking a longer-term stay in the Wildwood area. The presence of fishing ponds is a unique amenity that might appeal to RVers who enjoy recreational fishing. However, the reviews do not explicitly mention specific RV amenities such as hookups (water, electricity, sewer), laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or dedicated RV parking spaces. Therefore, it is crucial for RV owners to contact Parkwood Communities directly to ascertain if they accommodate RVs, what facilities are available for RV guests, and the associated costs.
In terms of services and features mentioned in the reviews, we have a friendly community atmosphere, convenient location, and fishing ponds. These suggest a basic level of amenities and a positive social environment. However, the lack of detailed information about other potential services, such as on-site management responsiveness, maintenance services, security measures, or pet policies, necessitates direct inquiry with the park management. Understanding the full range of services and features available is essential for making an informed decision about residency.
The location in Wildwood, Florida, offers proximity to various attractions and services in the region. Wildwood is situated near major highways, providing easy access to other parts of Florida. It is also close to natural areas and recreational opportunities, in addition to the fishing ponds mentioned within the community itself. This central location could be a significant advantage for those looking to explore the surrounding area while residing in Parkwood Communities.
Regarding promotional information, no specific promotions or special offers are mentioned in the provided data. Therefore, it is recommended to contact Parkwood Communities directly to inquire about current rates for mobile home lots or potential RV sites, the duration of stays permitted for RVs, and any other relevant promotional details. It would also be beneficial to ask about any community events or activities that might be organized for residents, as a strong sense of community is highlighted in the reviews.
In conclusion, Parkwood Communities in Wildwood, Florida, appears to offer a welcoming and friendly environment with a convenient location and the unique amenity of fishing ponds. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it presents a potential option for those seeking a community with a strong social fabric and access to local conveniences. However, prospective residents, particularly RV owners, should directly contact the management to gather detailed information about RV accommodations, associated amenities and costs, and to gain a better understanding of the management's approach to resident relations, as suggested by one of the reviews. Weighing the positive aspects of community and location against the potential concerns regarding affordability and management style will be crucial for making an informed decision about residing at Parkwood Communities.

Parkwood Communities Reviews
It's a great place very friendly I love fishing the ponds here with my kids guaranteed to catch something
Jul 08, 2023 · Paul BurlesonI live in this community. The neighbors are the best! It is convenient to everything you would want or need. The lot rent is supposedly one of the lowest in the area but hard to manage for those of us on disability or SSI. Management is not the best but it has been my experience as long as they get their money they are satisfied. That is all that matters to them.
Aug 29, 2021 · Pamala “PJ” WhittPark is nice. Neighbors are nice. Lot rent is high for those on very limited budgets even though this is NOT the Villages. Management can be difficult at times but, isn't always. Management is available for most relevant and timely questions. Just remember: pay your lot rent on time, be courteous at all times to all, keep your place in absolutely impeccable order on the outside, MH is to be presentable and pristine and management is likely going to leave you alone.
Mar 20, 2018 · Debra Irene WilcoxNice quiet community. Mainly snow birds and almost all retired. There are 2 club houses that offer a variety of activities and events, pool and hot tub at both. Also there are a couple lakes throught the community. Only complaints are that both exits are located on very busy roads and only one os gated but never closed.
Feb 22, 2017 · Tom PageI have a good friend lives here. Was first time visiting him at home. Very nice park and loved the cleanliness and care added to make it a great place to live.
