Mission Farm RV Park Introduce
Seeking a tranquil and conveniently located "RV park near me" in the heart of California? Consider Mission Farm RV Park, nestled at 400 San Juan Hollister Rd, San Juan Bautista, CA 95045, USA. Based on firsthand customer experiences, this RV park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and accessibility, making it an appealing choice for both short-term visitors and long-term residents.
One of the standout features of Mission Farm RV Park, as highlighted by a recent visitor, is its abundant tree cover. The reviewer enthusiastically noted, "The trees are abundant, and it feels like you are in the mountains." This suggests a shaded and picturesque environment, offering a welcome escape from the more open and exposed settings of some other "RV parks near me." The natural surroundings contribute to a sense of peace and immersion in nature, enhancing the overall camping or living experience.
Beyond its natural charm, Mission Farm RV Park boasts a "very convenient location to visit Old San Juan Bautista." This historic town, known for its well-preserved Spanish mission and charming downtown area, offers a glimpse into California's rich past. Staying at Mission Farm RV Park provides easy access to explore the mission, browse local shops, and dine at area restaurants, making it an ideal base for experiencing the cultural and historical attractions of the region.
For those prioritizing a quiet and relaxing stay, Mission Farm RV Park appears to deliver. The same reviewer described it as a "Quiet location," suggesting a peaceful atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings without excessive noise or disruption. This tranquility can be particularly appealing to travelers seeking respite and a connection with nature.
The sense of community at Mission Farm RV Park is also noteworthy. The reviewer mentioned meeting "some friendly full-timers in the park," indicating a welcoming and established long-term resident community. This can contribute to a friendly and supportive atmosphere for both short-term and extended-stay guests.
Practicality is also a key aspect of Mission Farm RV Park. The availability of "Many pull through spots" is a significant advantage for RV travelers, especially those with larger rigs. Pull-through sites simplify the process of parking and departing, eliminating the need to back in and adding to the convenience of the stay.
Addressing the facilities, one reviewer provided valuable insights. They mentioned a "very nice lady at the office," suggesting friendly and helpful management. The "Entrance looks really nice," indicating attention to the park's initial presentation and a welcoming first impression.
Connectivity is an important consideration for many travelers, and Mission Farm RV Park offers Wi-Fi, although with a caveat. The reviewer noted that "Wifi works well at the office, not in the park." This information is crucial for guests who rely on internet access during their stay. While convenient access is available at the office, those needing consistent connectivity at their campsite should plan accordingly.
For those who prefer tent camping, Mission Farm RV Park accommodates this as well. The reviewer "saw three tents on a nice piece of grass under some trees," indicating designated and pleasant tent camping areas. This expands the park's appeal to a wider range of outdoor enthusiasts beyond RV travelers.
Regarding essential amenities, the reviewer noted that "Toilets and showers are dated, but clean." While not modern, the cleanliness of these facilities is a positive aspect, ensuring basic hygiene needs are met. Travelers who prioritize updated facilities may want to consider this information.
In terms of pricing, the reviewer mentioned staying one night in their RV with full hookup for approximately $60. This provides a general idea of the cost for such services, allowing potential guests to factor this into their budget when searching for "RV parks near me" that offer full hookups.
It's important to note the absence of certain recreational amenities. The reviewer explicitly stated, "There is no pool or playground." Families with children or individuals seeking on-site recreational facilities should be aware of this. However, the park's proximity to Old San Juan Bautista and its natural setting may offer alternative forms of entertainment and exploration.
The reviewer's observation that "I would guess that 75% of the spots are rented long-term" further emphasizes the established community feel of Mission Farm RV Park. This high percentage of long-term residents suggests a stable and potentially quieter environment compared to parks primarily catering to short-term stays.

Mission Farm RV Park Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay here. The trees are abundant, and it feels like you are in the mountains. Very convenient location to visit Old San Juan Bautista. Quiet location, and we met some friendly full-timers in the park. Many pull through spots. We will go back for sure.
Sep 24, 2024 · Linda ParadisoVery nice lady at the office. Entrance looks really nice. Wifi works well at the office, not in the park. There is tent camping possible. I saw three tents on a nice piece of grass under some trees. Toilets and showers are dated, but clean. We stayed one night in our RV with full hookup for about 60 dollars. There is no pool or playground. I would guess that 75% of the spots are rented long-term.
Jul 02, 2017 · Joost van der ScheePeople definitely camp long term here. But was a great location and had a great experience. Friendly people, got a pull through spot. All 30 amp so bring adapter if needed.
Apr 06, 2024 · chuck spragueThe location is in a very nice part of San Juan Bautista. When you come to the front of the RV park, it looks like it has a really cute Western theme, which is very nice. There are lots of trees, so it's like you're in a forest, but as you drive through the trailer park, you realize there are a lot of long-term residents and they don't really have standards as to the condition of the spaces or trailers. So many old junkie trailers, some even with graffiti on them. Looks a little satanic and scary. I would not feel comfortable/safe walking around this place with my dog. If they cleaned up the area and trailer spaces and up'd their standards for entry, this could be a nice place and a good location - not today though.
Jul 30, 2023 · Maggie MagooThis park is a quiet respite from the fast pace of California.Best for 30 foot or less sized RV's, beautifully kept on a daily basis by the handy man on site.Check in is 1-530pm -- you can hear light traffic from the road YET this is the first park where I awoke to birds singing and chirping amongst the beautiful trees around this park.Well established and has enough washers and dryers to meet your needs. There are showers as well.Staff are courteous and very helpful!
