PINE Tree RV PARK Introduce
For local RV travelers and those journeying along Interstate 40 through Oklahoma, PINE Tree RV PARK, located at 108115 OK-56, Okemah, OK 74859, USA, stands out as a highly recommended option when searching for "RV parks near me." This park, while described as "no frills" in terms of certain amenities, more than compensates with its exceptional owners, convenient location, safety, cleanliness, and unique features that make it a memorable and valuable stop.
The environment at PINE Tree RV PARK is consistently praised for being "super nice" and clean. This suggests a well-maintained and pleasant setting where guests can feel comfortable and at ease. While specific details about the landscape or surrounding area are not extensively described, the mention of a pond available for fishing indicates a natural and potentially scenic element within the park. Furthermore, the highlight of a nightly light show around the pond, featuring a lit fountain in the middle, paints a picture of a visually stunning and unique environment that guests can enjoy after sunset. The added bonus of being able to see the stars at night suggests a location with minimal light pollution, allowing for a beautiful view of the night sky, a treat often appreciated by those seeking a respite from urban areas.
One of the most significant and repeatedly emphasized features of PINE Tree RV PARK is the exceptional hospitality of the owners, Randy and his mom, Paula. Guests consistently rave about their friendly and welcoming nature, describing how they make you "feel right at home and part of the family." This personal touch and genuine care create an atmosphere that goes beyond a typical RV park experience, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all who stay there. This warm and inviting hospitality is a key reason why many consider PINE Tree RV PARK a "diamond in the rough."
Convenience is another major advantage of this RV park. Its location offers "EZ off and EZ on to I40," making it an incredibly accessible stop for those traveling along this major east-west highway. This ease of access is particularly beneficial for overnight stays or for travelers looking for a quick and hassle-free stop without venturing far from their route. The convenient location doesn't compromise the peaceful atmosphere, as it is still described as a "super nice" park.
Safety is also a priority at PINE Tree RV PARK. Guests have described it as a "safe" place to stay, providing peace of mind for travelers concerned about the security of their RV and belongings. While specific security measures are not detailed, the overall positive sentiment regarding safety suggests that the owners maintain a secure environment for their guests.
A truly unique and invaluable feature of PINE Tree RV PARK is that the owner, Randy, is an "extremely knowledgeable RV technician" who runs a full-time RV repair operation directly out of the park. This is an exceptional benefit for RV travelers, as breakdowns and maintenance issues can occur unexpectedly. Having a certified RV tech on-site can be a lifesaver, as highlighted by one reviewer who experienced a significant breakdown nearby. Randy went above and beyond to assist them, providing a temporary parking spot with electricity and then expertly repairing their travel trailer, even working with their extended warranty company. This on-site RV repair service is a significant advantage that sets PINE Tree RV PARK apart from many others and offers unparalleled convenience and peace of mind to guests.
For those who enjoy fishing, the presence of a pond within the RV park provides a recreational opportunity. Guests can relax by the water and try their luck at catching fish, adding another dimension to their stay. This amenity further enhances the appeal of PINE Tree RV PARK for those seeking a connection with nature during their travels.
It is important to note that PINE Tree RV PARK is described as "no frills" and specifically mentioned as not having a shower or laundry facilities on-site. This is a crucial piece of information for potential guests to consider, especially those planning longer stays or those who rely on these amenities. However, the numerous positive aspects, particularly the exceptional hospitality and the on-site RV repair service, often outweigh this lack of certain facilities for many travelers, especially for shorter stops or those whose RVs are self-contained.
In summary, PINE Tree RV PARK in Okemah, Oklahoma, offers a super nice, clean, and safe environment with the added benefits of incredibly friendly and helpful owners, convenient access to I-40, on-site RV repair services by a certified technician, a fishing pond, and a unique nightly light show. While it may lack some of the traditional amenities like showers and laundry, the exceptional hospitality and the invaluable service of on-site RV repair make it a standout destination for local RV travelers and those passing through Oklahoma. The positive experiences shared by guests underscore its reputation as a "diamond in the rough." For those seeking a welcoming, convenient, and potentially life-saving stop, PINE Tree RV PARK is definitely worth considering. PINE Tree RV PARK Reviews
This is a super nice, clean, safe, no frills (no shower, laundry, etc.) RV park. What really makes it is the owner, Randy and his mom, Paula make you feel right at home and part of the family!!!!! It’s convenient, EZ off and EZ on to I40. An added bonus is Randy is an extremely knowledgeable RV technician and runs a full-time RV repair operation out of the RV park. There’s a pond where you can fish and there’s a light show at night around the pond with a lit fountain in the middle - simply gorgeous!! You can even see the stars. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, it’s a diamond in the rough!!
Sep 30, 2024 · Tammy CRandy is a certified RV tech, and he helped us when we broke down in a gas station near I40. We were dead in the water on a Saturday afternoon with broken bolts on our travel trailer's suspension. Randy came and made it safe enough to tow to his garage at the campground. As he had no open sites, he let us park in front of the garage and hooked up electricity. On Monday he fixed our rig. He even work with our extended warranty company. We were far from home and on our way to AZ. But Randy saved our trip. Thank you!
Dec 21, 2024 · Mandy HarrisRandy is incredibly helpful from the start and is one of the best hosts we've had. Helped my husband with pulling in the spot, repair advice, and replacing a fridge in our rig! The park is quiet, clean, and beautiful, especially the pond at night! If we are sent back to the area, we will be staying here again!
Sep 12, 2022 · Amber PawlikThey owners and fellow campers are all so very nice. I love how we can enjoy our time camping with all of our dogs. Everyone has been kind and even lent a hand when we pulled in to make sure we were set up good. The wind blows everyday almost and the Sun sets in the overlooking field every evening. Nice place to stop at
Jun 20, 2019 · Vacaya HobbsWe needed a place to stay at the last minute. We were tired and trying to find a nice quiet park. When I called the owner stated they were full but offered to let us park our rig on her beautiful groomed lawn. She was truly a godsend. We were treated like family and it was the most quiet placed we've stayed at through our month long trip. We were told there was no hurry to pull out in morning and wished us well when we left. I definitely would stay again and tell my friends of this unknown treasure. Krys from AZ.
