Pines Introduce
For individuals and families searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or seeking a stable, community-oriented living solution in Hubert, North Carolina, The Pines Mobile Home Park presents itself as a notable option. Located at 101 Ash St, Hubert, NC 28539, USA, with direct contact available via phone at (910) 326-4250, The Pines aims to offer a comfortable and engaging environment for its residents. This introduction provides an objective overview of the park, drawing from available online information and customer feedback.
The Pines is situated in Hubert, NC, a community known for its friendly atmosphere and proximity to coastal attractions. Hubert itself is an unincorporated community in Onslow County, offering a quieter, more outdoorsy lifestyle while still being conveniently located near larger hubs like Jacksonville (approximately 12 miles away) and Swansboro (about 8 miles away), which provide access to essential amenities, shopping, dining, and medical facilities. The area is also appealing to military families due to its close proximity to Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Military Base.
Within The Pines, the environment appears to be one of ongoing development and improvement. Customer reviews highlight that the management has been actively "put out some new manufactured properties," indicating an investment in modernizing and enhancing the living spaces. This suggests a commitment to providing quality homes within the park. While some past reviews may reflect challenges with previous management or resident issues, the current sentiment points towards a positive shift, with emphasis on making the community "super nice" and "clean, safe, well organized with appropriate accommodations." The presence of a "nice playground for the kids" and a "fenced in pool area" contributes to a family-friendly atmosphere, suggesting communal spaces designed for recreation and social interaction.
However, it is important to acknowledge that, like any community, The Pines may experience challenges. One past review points to issues with neighborly conduct, specifically regarding unsupervised children and theft, which ultimately led to a resident moving. While this feedback is from a previous resident and may not reflect current conditions, it highlights the importance of community rules and enforcement in maintaining a harmonious living environment. Prospective residents should consider asking about current community guidelines and how such issues are addressed by the management team. The park is described as having "spacious wooded home-sites" and "paved streets," contributing to a comfortable living setting.
The services at The Pines are centered around providing a well-managed and comfortable living experience. A key highlight from recent customer feedback is the property manager, Angela, who is lauded as "a great property manager" who "makes the process easy-going very on top of everything." This responsiveness and attentiveness from the management team are crucial for addressing resident needs and maintaining the quality of the park. It indicates that concerns are likely to be handled efficiently and professionally, which is a significant factor in resident satisfaction.
Beyond management, The Pines offers amenities designed to enhance the living experience for its residents. These include:
Swimming Pool: The presence of a "fenced in pool area" offers a recreational outlet, especially valuable during warmer months, providing a place for relaxation and family fun. This is a significant draw for a mobile home park, distinguishing it from more basic RV lots.
Children's Playground: A "nice playground for the kids" underscores the park's family-friendly orientation, providing a dedicated and safe space for younger residents to play and interact.
Pet-Friendly Policy: The Pines is noted as being "pet friendly," which is a considerable advantage for pet owners, as finding suitable rentals that accommodate pets can often be challenging. This inclusivity broadens its appeal to a wider range of residents.
On-Site Maintenance/Emergency Response: A review mentions an incident where a water problem was fixed quickly on a Sunday evening, indicating that the park likely has maintenance staff or procedures in place for addressing emergencies, even outside of regular business hours. This suggests a commitment to resident well-being and prompt issue resolution.
Security Measures: While not explicitly detailed, one past visitor was "very surprised at the cleanliness, the guards, passes needed to get in, the quiet time," suggesting that the park has implemented some level of security, possibly including controlled access, which contributes to a sense of safety for residents.
While the primary focus is on mobile home residences, for users seeking "RV Parks Near Me," it's important to clarify that The Pines appears to be predominantly a mobile home park for long-term residents, with options for renting or purchasing manufactured homes, rather than short-term RV parking. However, the presence of community amenities and a well-managed environment might still appeal to RV owners looking for a long-term lot rental if available, or those considering transitioning into manufactured home living within a community setting.
The standout features of The Pines are its commitment to modernizing its housing stock and fostering a community-focused environment. The introduction of "new manufactured properties" suggests that residents can expect relatively modern and well-maintained homes, potentially with contemporary layouts and finishes. One resident mentioned "upgrad to one of the new mobile homes" and not being "embarrassed to admit where I live now," which speaks volumes about the improved quality of the homes and the overall perception of the park.
The community aspect is a strong selling point. Reviews frequently mention a "nice quiet community" and the presence of "lots of military families," contributing to a supportive and structured environment. The communal amenities like the pool and playground naturally facilitate interaction and a sense of belonging among residents. The "quiet time" rule also suggests an effort to maintain a peaceful living atmosphere for everyone.
While the reviews focus on the residential aspect, it's worth noting the broader features of the Hubert area that complement living at The Pines:
Coastal Proximity: Hubert is a short drive from the Crystal Coast, with destinations like Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, and the Intracoastal Waterway, offering opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and various water sports. Some nearby mobile home communities even offer private boat docks and storage.
Local Attractions: Historic Morehead City and Beaufort are nearby, offering unique shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The area also boasts parks like Hubert By-Pass Park and natural inlets like Bear Inlet.
Military Friendly: The significant presence of military families indicates that the community is accustomed to the unique needs and lifestyles of service members, which can be a valuable feature for those connected to the military.
For potential residents searching under "RV Parks Near Me" or more broadly for mobile home living options, The Pines can be promoted as a welcoming and continuously improving community in Hubert, NC. The key selling points would be:
Responsive and Effective Management: Emphasize the positive feedback on the property manager, Angela, highlighting that residents can expect their concerns to be addressed promptly and effectively. This directly counteracts common negative stereotypes sometimes associated with mobile home park management.
Modern Housing Options: Highlight the availability of "new manufactured properties" which offer updated living spaces. Prospective residents can be assured of comfortable and aesthetically pleasing homes.
Family and Pet-Friendly Amenities: Promote the pool and playground as ideal features for families, and the pet-friendly policy as a significant benefit for animal owners. This caters to a broad demographic looking for inclusive living spaces.
Community Atmosphere: Underscore the "super nice" and "quiet community" aspect, appealing to those who value a friendly neighborhood and a sense of belonging. The presence of military families could also be a draw for that specific demographic.
Strategic Location: Mention the balance of a peaceful Hubert setting with convenient access to Jacksonville and Swansboro for shopping, dining, and other necessities, as well as the proximity to the North Carolina coast for recreation.
While acknowledging past challenges, the current promotional message should focus on the park's positive trajectory and commitment to resident satisfaction. Encouraging prospective residents to visit the park, meet the property manager, and speak with current residents could provide a firsthand understanding of the community's positive attributes. The Pines aims to provide more than just a place to live; it strives to offer a genuine community where residents feel comfortable, safe, and valued.

Pines Reviews
Angela is a great property manager makes the process easy-going very on top of everything. The community is super nice. They have put out some new manufactured properties. I personally myself appreciate the park for the kids as well as the pool. Some of the reviews are very false from tenants or from the property managers before I understand how they feel like that or that they have not kept up with their stuff but hey, I Appreciate a good property manager, and she is one for sure.
Feb 01, 2025 · Bruty TeyanaIt wasn’t so much the property manager or maintenance. It was my neighbors that were the problem I used to live on Elm and there was this house on who would allow her kids to roam the streets at all hours of the night, and they would come on my property and steal all of my stuff and then she would just play off as it never happened her kids were always supervise her kids were NEVER EVER supervised and always cause problems. There was always an issue with this family and nothing was ever done unfortunately as much as I love my home, and I love the Pines I had to move because I can no longer deal with the family that lived on Elm It broke my heart, because I absolutely love my trailer, but I didn’t like the feeling of my stuff being stolen and I didn’t like the fact that this woman gets away with everything despite multiple people other than myself complaining about it still nothing has been done to this day so if you live on Elm, be careful because she is known to have excuses like I’m in the shower or I wasn’t paying attention. It was a reoccurring thing from the time they moved in until the time I left and it seems like it still happening. Make sure you have cameras because the kids like to go around other peoples porches causing a ruckus, making them feel bad for them or just stealing their stuff because there is, no discipline, no action taken, and the fact that I had to move from the home I loved from a community I love because they were too much of a problem sickens me.
Feb 10, 2025 · Briana EdwardsI have been living at The Pines with my husband, dog and cats for a year now. The rent is very fair. The property manager, Sean, is FAIR and kind. He is always quick to respond when we have an issue. (We haven't had many, but the ones we've had are normal issues that ALL home owners or renters run into, like an ant problem that was quickly remedied and the HVAC blowing under the floors, also quickly remedied, and a leaky pipe in the main bathroom wall, fixed immediately upon being reported). He takes seriously the state of this community and I've seen first hand that he cares who these homes are rented to (nice families, military personnel, couples with pets).Yes, the pool is out of order. They have been working on it all season which is easily clear to see and witness. They have plans to open it next season and it looks like it's going to be really nice! I have high hopes! The playground is sometimes littered with trash, but that's something the kids and families utilizing it should be keeping up with. Don't litter and we won't have litter problems! There ARE a lot of stray cats here, which makes me sad, and I do wish that would be handled, but it's difficult to get control of stray cat problems. Many of them seem to live under the unoccupied (old) trailer next door to me.The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a curfew for minors and families here really seem to enforce it themselves, which is the best way to have rules enforced. Trash is always collected on time. Most people keep very tidy yards and porches (we all have really nice front decks on our brand new homes, too)! You are allowed to add storage sheds to your rental lots which we plan to do this coming spring. Many tenants here do nice landscaping/make flower beds, put up festive decorations and lights for all of the holidays and more. Kids ride their bikes up and down the streets here because, again, it's safe. I walk my dog alone every single night after dark with absolutely no worries. The roads are well lit by street lights, too! Most importantly, all of my neighbors are kind. If someone is playing music in their backyard and you ask them to turn it down, they politely turn it down and tell you to let them know if it's ever a problem again. Everyone waves and/or says hello when you drive by or walk past their house with your dog. People obey the 10MPH speed limit within the neighborhood almost always. All in all I have no plans for moving out of The Pines any time soon. They have put in 100+ brand new homes just like ours (we're the first to ever occupy ours) this summer and new, NICE neighbors are moving in all the time. It's an exiting time to live at The Pines!Edit: summer number two — the pool opened this summer!!! Sean and management threw a big opening BBQ and fed the neighborhood! The pool is really nice. Loving it!Edit 2: I am a new wheelchair user, and Sean made sure that a beautiful wheelchair ramp was built onto our deck, so I can get up and down easily. I am very grateful. We have been here going on two years now, and we are still very happy.
Aug 08, 2023 · KelsiI’ve been here for almost a year and I am constantly getting notices on my door that don’t coincide with the terms of lease. I went back and forth last summer about my Air conditioner and this year I just bit the bullet and bought a Window unit so I’m out of that money.. as a single mom shouldn’t have to worry about falling through my floor or being evicted just because I’m not willing to pay the rent in a new trailer..
Mar 23, 2023 · Connie MitchellGreat experience so far! The property manager is extremely professional and down to earth. Things have been majorly cleaned up over the years. He helped us find a new mobile home towards the front so our daughter could walk to bus stop and we are very excited . He will also work with you if it’s reasonable with credit and getting things moved in. The new mobile homes are beautiful and affordable.
