Pineview RV Campground Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Attalla, Alabama area? Pineview RV Campground, located at 93 Chastity Ln, Attalla, AL 35954, USA, offers services for RV travelers. You can reach them at (256) 328-5270 or via mobile at +1 256-328-5270 for inquiries about availability and park information. However, it is important to note that customer reviews present a mixed picture of the campground, particularly regarding long-term stays and management practices.
One reviewer who stayed at Pineview RV Campground for eight months expressed significant concerns and strongly advised those seeking long-term accommodation to "RUN AWAY!" This extensive negative feedback highlights several issues experienced during their extended stay. A primary concern was the management, specifically referencing the owner, Robert. The reviewer stated that receiving a receipt for monthly rent payments was unreliable unless payment was made in person to Robert or his staff. Payments made via the night deposit box allegedly never resulted in a receipt being received in the tenant's mailbox. This lack of consistent documentation for payments can be a significant issue for long-term residents needing to track their expenses.
Another critical point raised by the long-term resident was the absence of a formal lease agreement. According to the review, the "rules" of the campground were based on "here-say only," which can lead to misunderstandings and inconsistent enforcement. The lack of a written agreement can leave tenants vulnerable and without clear guidelines regarding their rights and responsibilities.
Perhaps the most alarming accusation in the negative review involves a safety concern. The reviewer claimed that when a neighboring camper tenant verbally threatened their life, the owner, Robert, sided with the threatening party over the reviewer. The reviewer speculated that this bias might be age-related, suggesting that younger tenants might not receive fair treatment. This serious allegation raises significant concerns about the safety and fairness of the management's handling of disputes within the campground.
Furthermore, the long-term resident recounted a disturbing incident involving the owner allegedly entering the office while the reviewer was doing laundry. The reviewer claimed that Robert "reeked of alcohol" and "started screaming in your face for doing laundry." Such behavior, if accurate, indicates a highly unprofessional and potentially hostile environment for residents.
The reviewer concluded by stating that they had "NEVER had a problem anywhere else that I have stayed," emphasizing the uniquely negative experience at Pineview RV Campground for long-term residents. This strong condemnation should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating an extended stay at this location.
In contrast to the negative experience of the long-term resident, a separate review from someone who stopped for an overnight stay was considerably more positive. This reviewer reported having "a full hookup on a pull-through site," which are often desirable features for short-term RV travelers seeking convenience. They described the owner as "super helpful and very diligent about his park" and concluded by stating that the park was "really nice." This positive feedback suggests that Pineview RV Campground may be adequate for short overnight stops where interactions with management are minimal and the focus is primarily on the basic amenities.
Considering these starkly different experiences, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of Pineview RV Campground. For those seeking a brief overnight stay and valuing full hookups and pull-through sites, the campground may meet their needs, as indicated by the positive short-term review. The description of the owner being "super helpful" in this context is also a potential positive aspect for transient guests.
However, the detailed and concerning account from the long-term resident raises significant red flags, particularly for those considering staying for an extended period. Issues such as the lack of reliable receipting for payments, the absence of a formal lease agreement, allegations of biased handling of disputes and safety concerns, and accusations of unprofessional behavior by the owner are serious matters that potential long-term residents should carefully consider and investigate further.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Pineview RV Campground offers a location in Attalla, AL, with phone contact information provided for inquiries. However, the available reviews strongly suggest that the experience at this campground can vary significantly depending on the duration of stay. Short-term visitors might find the basic amenities and a helpful owner to be satisfactory, while long-term residents have reported serious issues with management practices, safety concerns, and the lack of formal agreements.
Therefore, anyone considering Pineview RV Campground for a long-term stay is strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the owner directly to address the concerns raised in the negative review, inquiring about formal lease agreements and receipting procedures, and potentially seeking feedback from current long-term residents (if possible). Visiting the campground in person to assess the environment and the condition of the facilities would also be a prudent step.
In conclusion, Pineview RV Campground in Attalla, AL, offers full hookups and pull-through sites that may be suitable for overnight stays, with one reviewer describing the owner as helpful. However, a detailed account from a long-term resident raises serious concerns about management practices, lack of formal agreements, safety issues, and unprofessional behavior. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Pineview RV Campground, especially for an extended stay, should carefully weigh these contrasting reviews and conduct thorough personal investigation before making a decision.

Pineview RV Campground Reviews
Ohh where to start… I’m sure it’s great for a night or two, but those who are wanting somewhere to stay long term.. RUN AWAY! From someone who stayed there for 8 months, there is so much wrong with management aka Robert the owner. When you pay your monthly rent, don’t expect to get a receipt unless you pay him or his staff in person. I paid in the night deposit and NEVER received any kind of receipt in my little mail box. Also, there is no lease agreement whatsoever. So the “rules” are by here-say only. Also, when the camper tenant in front of you verbally threatens your life, Robert will take their side over yours. Maybe it’s an age thing. So if you are younger I highly suggest you stay away. I have NEVER had a problem anywhere else that I have stayed. And don’t be surprised if Robert comes into the office as you’re doing laundry and reeks of alcohol and starts screaming in your face for doing laundry.
Apr 29, 2025 · Katie SmithWe stopped for an overnight on a trip. There we had a full hookup on a pull-through site. The owner is super helpful and very diligent about his park. Really nice.
Mar 23, 2025 · George ScottRobert and his staff at Pineview were absolutely wonderful!! We stopped there on the way to our destination and on the way home. We called and they said no problem. We got there and they were very helpful with everything we needed. The place is very quiet and the set up is so peaceful. The sites were pretty level for gravel and plenty of space for our needs. Great area to walk the dogs and just relax. So glad to see they’re expanding. We will definitely use them as a stopping point whenever we had to the beach. Thank you again Robert for your wonderful hospitality!!! Your kindness was greatly appreciated.
Oct 08, 2024 · Jennifer DohenyThis campground is great. The campground is big, with spacious sites, you don't feel cramed in to where you are setting on top of other campers. Grounds are well kept and maintained. The owner Mr. Robert is the most accommodating owner/host I've ever met. He was super helpful and went out of his way to assist us with setting up. He made sure we had everything we needed to hook up and get settled in. The campground has couple of ponds with fish, beach area by the big pond. Has a dog playground. We were a party of four campers. Three fifth wheels and a bumper pull. The host set us up in two very long sites, ~ 150 to 200ft. This let us set up to where we were able to go nose to tail with two campers per site. Plus we were able to and have the campers face each other. This made it so that our doors and awnings were facing each other. It was a very nice way for us to set up. The owner even supplied all the extra water and sewer hoses connectors and electrical cables we needed to make this happen. Awesome support by the owner he spent a lot of his time taking care to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Robert he was the best owner/host we've ever had! When we come back to this area I would definitely have him on top of my list of campgrounds to check for availability.
