For individuals and families in the Columbia, South Carolina area who are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering the purchase or rental of a manufactured home within a community setting, Polo Estates MHC, situated at 8565 Old Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29223, USA, presents a residential option. To gather more specific details about the park, including current availability and management policies, you can reach them at (803) 401-5099 or +1 803-401-5099.
Based on the limited information available, including feedback from individuals who have either visited or inquired about Polo Estates MHC, the environment of the park appears to have areas that may require attention. One individual who drove through the community mentioned that the condition of the roads was such that it would be a significant daily concern. This suggests that the infrastructure within the park might not be in optimal condition, potentially affecting the quality of life for residents and the accessibility within the community. However, without further information, a comprehensive assessment of the overall environment, including landscaping, common areas, and the general upkeep of the park, cannot be provided.
Information regarding the specific services offered at Polo Estates MHC is not detailed in the provided data. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential services such as connections for utilities (water, electricity, sewage), waste disposal, and maintenance of communal areas. Some parks may provide additional services like on-site management, security, or recreational facilities. Given the limited feedback, there is no direct indication of the quality or extent of the services provided at Polo Estates MHC. Prospective residents would need to inquire directly with the management to obtain a clear understanding of the services included with residency.
The limited feedback provides some insight into potential features of Polo Estates MHC. One significant point raised by a prospective buyer concerns the pricing of single-wide trailers being offered for sale by the park. This individual stated that the asking price was close to $60,000, which they considered to be significantly higher than the cost of purchasing a brand new comparable unit. This suggests that one feature of the park may be the availability of pre-owned mobile homes for purchase. However, the perceived value of these homes, as indicated by the review, may be a point of concern for potential buyers. The other notable feature, albeit a negative one, is the condition of the roads within the park, which was highlighted as a major drawback by a visitor.
Currently, there is no explicit promotional information available for Polo Estates MHC in the provided data. Mobile home parks sometimes offer incentives to attract new residents or buyers, such as reduced lot rent for an initial period or special financing options for purchasing homes within the community. Without any such information, it is impossible to comment on any potential promotions that Polo Estates MHC might be offering. Local users interested in any special deals or incentives should contact the park management directly.
For local users actively searching for "RV parks near me," the provided information does not explicitly state whether Polo Estates MHC accommodates recreational vehicles for short-term or long-term stays. The name "MHC" typically stands for "Manufactured Home Community," suggesting a primary focus on mobile homes rather than RVs. However, some manufactured home communities do have designated areas or policies for RVs. Therefore, individuals looking for RV parking options should contact Polo Estates MHC directly to inquire about their RV policies, availability, and amenities for recreational vehicles.
The limited and somewhat negative feedback from those who have interacted with or visited Polo Estates MHC suggests that prospective residents should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The concern raised about the pricing of existing mobile homes and the poor condition of the roads are significant factors to consider. It would be highly advisable for interested individuals to visit the park in person to assess the condition of the infrastructure and any available properties. Additionally, it is crucial to speak directly with the park management to inquire about lot rental fees, community rules and regulations, maintenance procedures, and any other relevant policies.
In conclusion, Polo Estates MHC, located on Old Percival Rd in Columbia, SC, is a manufactured home community that has received some negative feedback regarding the pricing of homes for sale by the park and the condition of its internal roads. While the park may offer a residential setting for mobile home owners, potential residents are strongly encouraged to conduct a thorough on-site inspection and engage in detailed discussions with the management to gain a comprehensive understanding of the community's environment, services, features, and any associated costs. Whether Polo Estates MHC is a suitable option for those seeking "RV parks near me" remains unknown based on the provided information and requires direct inquiry with the park management.

Polo Estates MHC Reviews
The man working in the office told me they want to sell their single-wide trailers for nearly $60,000. You can buy brand new ones for under half that price. Bad business.
Apr 24, 2025 · Shawna HuttoRode through there just look. I’ll pass. The roads alone would drive me crazy every morning.
Dec 15, 2024 · Ashan HarperHonestly I’ve lived here for half of my life and yea it wasn’t such a “nice” place but I feel like everyone lived more comfortable. Now with the new owners and management it feels like you aren’t allowed to live freely and how you want to live. Also, things are getting better as in the environment but not so much. They are raising rent prices and are charging for way more stuff but still can’t finish things they promise. Then they leave people without water, there is always some type of problem with the water it either doesn’t work for like a day or there’s small amounts of water coming out and there’s kids who live here that like to be clean and that have to use bathroom. If your gonna charge extra at least they could have things running well. With the old owner we never had anything missing ever water was always running, dumpsters were clean it never smelled like dead animals and trash. If we ever needed anything like replacing stuff at our homes he had someone to go fix it for us and we payed him. Now they charge us for everything but won’t even help to fix a thing that is a necessity for some people and we have to find our own ways. Kids aren’t even allowed to go outside and people who live here can’t even have people over i honestly think that’s the most stupidest thing ever people have families and friends. They are literally wanting to control they way people live. So people can say that the new management or owners or whatever are way better now and that everything looks better but they don’t know what actually happens. They are people’s a** all the time about having they’re yards clean but they tell people they are going to come get the trees they cut down of they’re yard but it’s been over a month and haven’t done anything and they put the dumpster infront on the entrance, that makes it look very unprofessional and clean.
Sep 25, 2018 · Britani LopezI moved here in November 2020, and ever since I’ve had issues with the manager Deborah. One- I had two tires resting on the side of my home and had a mattress inside a shed that was behind my house I then later received a note on my door saying that I had to remove my “trash” out of the lot or else I would get evicted, I told her that it was so unfair since the people that live next to me have old washing machines and dryers and other junk and they never got told anything. Two- I threw a mattress into the trash bins because I’ve seen that people throw it there I got into problem for that to. Three- people that live in front of me can have their music blasting at 12-1 in the morning but I can’t be listening to music on my porch minding my own business on a Monday at 6 pm
Jul 05, 2021 · Antonio QuezadaThey are improving a lot, paving the streets, trimming trees, cleaning and make tenants clean landscape, no more loudy music, no more noisy and drunk people hanging around, certainly make some major changes. Just management need some attention on request being on time with complaints.
