Portland-Woodburn RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Woodburn, Oregon area, particularly if you are traveling along Interstate 5 or looking for a convenient base to explore the region, Portland-Woodburn RV Park, located at 115 N Arney Rd, Woodburn, OR 97071, USA, offers a strategically positioned option. Woodburn is situated between Portland and Salem, making this RV park a potentially ideal stopover or a base for exploring the attractions of the Willamette Valley.
The environment of Portland-Woodburn RV Park is characterized by its accessibility and convenience. Multiple reviewers highlight the "Easy Access to I 5," making it a practical choice for travelers passing through the area. The park offers "Pull through sites up front," which is particularly beneficial for larger RVs as it simplifies the process of entering and exiting a space without the need for extensive maneuvering. However, one reviewer notes "No trees," indicating that shade might be limited within the park, especially in the front pull-through areas. This is something to consider, particularly during warmer months.
The layout of the park seems to designate "Spaces for short stay/overnight" in the front row, further emphasizing its suitability for travelers seeking a quick and easy stop. While the front sites lack shade, one reviewer mentioned that "The spaces are a good size," suggesting comfortable accommodations for RVs. The park also boasts a "big" dog park, although one reviewer noted it can be "muddy," particularly during wetter times of the year. Despite the mud, a large, fenced dog park is a significant amenity for those traveling with pets and searching for "RV parks near me" that cater to their furry companions. Another reviewer described it as a "nice size fenced dog park that is well kept and weed free!" indicating that the condition might vary or that maintenance efforts are in place.
A significant advantage of Portland-Woodburn RV Park is its walkability to nearby amenities. Reviewers mention an "Easy walk to several restaurants and Outlet stores," and one specifically noted that "Lots of places to eat are within walking distance." The proximity to Woodburn Premium Outlets, accessible via a "coded gate to the outlet mall," is a notable feature for those interested in shopping. This convenience of having dining and retail options within walking distance adds significant value, especially for travelers who may not want to unhook their vehicles to drive to these locations.
In terms of services, the reviews mention a "cute store" on-site, which likely offers basic necessities and perhaps some travel supplies or local information. While specific details about other amenities like laundry facilities, restrooms, or showers are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, the presence of a store suggests that the park offers at least basic conveniences for its guests. To get a comprehensive list of amenities, direct contact with the park is recommended.
One reviewer who has stayed at Portland-Woodburn RV Park "several times enroute from WA to AZ" highlights its convenience as a stopover location. They also mention that the "people" are "nice" and recommend making "reservations," indicating that the park can be popular, especially during peak travel times. This suggests that while it might be a convenient stop, it's wise to plan ahead to secure a space.
A potential drawback mentioned by one reviewer is that it can be "noisy all night due to sirens and close to I5." The proximity to a major interstate, while offering easy access, can also result in traffic noise. Additionally, the mention of sirens suggests that emergency services are active in the area, which could contribute to nighttime noise levels. Light sleepers might want to consider this factor when choosing this "RV park near me."
One reviewer noted a less than positive interaction with the "woman at check in," stating that she "seemed to not be having a good one." While this appears to be an isolated incident, it's a reminder that individual experiences with staff can vary. However, the other reviewer described the "people" as "nice," suggesting that overall, the staff is generally friendly.
Promotional information is not provided in the reviews. To learn about any special rates, discounts for longer stays, or other promotions, you would need to contact Portland-Woodburn RV Park directly using the provided phone number: (503) 981-0002 or +1 503-981-0002. You can also inquire about their reservation policies and availability, especially if you plan to stay during a busy season.
In conclusion, Portland-Woodburn RV Park offers a convenient location for those searching for "RV parks near me" with easy access to I-5 and proximity to shopping and dining in Woodburn, Oregon. Its pull-through sites are advantageous for larger RVs, and the presence of a large dog park is a significant plus for pet owners. The walkability to restaurants and the Woodburn Premium Outlets adds to its appeal. However, the lack of trees and potential for noise from the interstate and sirens are factors to consider. While primarily catering to short-term stays with front-row access, it may also accommodate longer stays. Contacting the park directly will provide detailed information about amenities, rates, and availability to help you determine if Portland-Woodburn RV Park meets your needs for your travels in the Oregon region.

Portland-Woodburn RV Park Reviews
Easy Access to I 5. Pull through sites up front. No trees . Easy in and out. Dog Park is big, but muddy. Easy walk to several restaurants and Outlet stores. I have stayed there several times enroute from WA to AZ. Convenient but noisy all night due to sirens and close to I5. Nice people, cute store. Recommend reservations. I traveled end of December. Will return next year.
Jan 03, 2025 · Susan NakashimaSpaces for short stay/overnight are in the front row. The spaces are a good size, but lack needed shade. The coded gate to the outlet mall was fun. Lots of places to eat are within walking distance. The biggest plus was a nice size fenced dog park that is well kept and weed free! We all have our days and the woman at check in seemed to not be having a good one .
Oct 01, 2024 · Judy VQuiet park, well kept. All areas were clean. Very pet friendly, they even have a fenced area for the dogs so they can be off leash to exercise. We've been here a few times and always enjoyed our stay.
Oct 17, 2024 · PattGreat location behind Woodburn Outlet Mall. Paved, clean. Full hookups. Dated but nice restrooms and showers (free with stay). Small pool was closed for season. Some permanent residents but well kept and clean uncluttered. Nice small park area for walking dogs, fenced grassy pet area. Playground. Great access to I5 between Salem and Portland. We stayed here visiting my mother in law in Woodburn Estates just over the freeway less than 2 miles. Several restaurants and the outlet mall within walking distance.
Oct 24, 2024 · Sara GregoryThis is one of the nicest parks my partner and I have stayed at. The people at the front were very kind and understanding of our situation, and were just amazing all around. I can only speak on my experience which is this; The spots each have their own lawns, which are kept pretty nice. Someone comes and mows the lawn frequently. I will say there are/were definitely residents who broke the rules and let their animals go to the bathroom where they’re not supposed to, but it seems the park cleans up after these rule breakers as well. The showers were very spacious and clean every time I’ve used them. Cannot speak about the pool as I’ve never used it, but I can’t imagine it would be gross considering they keep the rest of the park clean. I didn’t see much usage of the pool, either. They always have events going on! Very community/family like. They have dinners at least once a month for practically nothing. Most I spent was $7 per plate. Sometimes they had free desserts. The park itself was very quiet. You don’t really hear the highway noise. Neighbors were nice and quiet as well. If you’re not a problem, there won’t be a problem! Would absolutely stay again if we’re back in the area. Thank you Connie and Beeju! (sorry if I spelled that wrong 😅)
