Potters Trailer Park Introduce
For individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Ecorse, Michigan area, Potters Trailer Park, located at 4470 9th St, Ecorse, MI 48229, USA, is a mobile home park that may offer long-term spaces suitable for RVs. However, the limited online reviews suggest a community that has faced challenges, particularly with management and infrastructure. Potential residents, including those interested in long-term RV living, should carefully consider these points and conduct thorough inquiries.
The available reviews for Potters Trailer Park raise concerns regarding management and the overall condition of the park. One reviewer expresses significant difficulty in contacting an individual named Tony, who reportedly manages the trailers. This individual states they are in a "very devastating situation" concerning their mother's trailer and are experiencing frustration due to the lack of communication. The plea for help underscores a potential issue with the accessibility or responsiveness of the current management.
Another reviewer with a long history at Potters Trailer Park, having lived there for 17 years, notes a decline in the community since new management took over. This long-term resident recalls a time with "great friends and neighbors" but indicates that the change in management led to a perceived decrease in the quality of residents allowed into the park. This dissatisfaction ultimately led them to sell their trailer and leave, citing that they "could only take so much." This paints a picture of a community that may have experienced a negative shift in its environment.
The same long-term reviewer does offer a glimmer of hope, mentioning an "Update" that the trailer park has "New Management" again. This suggests a potential for improvement and a recognition that changes were needed. However, they also explicitly point out existing issues that require attention, stating, "Definitely the streets need fixing and it needs public lighting." These are significant infrastructure concerns that can impact the safety and quality of life for all residents, including those in RVs.
Given the limited information and the concerns raised, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of Potters Trailer Park. However, the available reviews highlight the following potential considerations for those searching for 'RV parks near me':
- **Management Issues:** The difficulty in contacting management and the perceived decline under previous new management are significant concerns. It is crucial to ascertain the current management's responsiveness and effectiveness.
- **Community Environment:** The long-term resident's experience suggests a potential shift in the community atmosphere, although the most recent update hints at possible improvements under new management.
- **Infrastructure:** The need for street repairs and public lighting indicates potential safety and maintenance issues within the park.
For individuals considering Potters Trailer Park for long-term RV living, several key questions need to be addressed by directly contacting the park management:
- **Availability of RV Spaces:** Does the park offer spaces suitable for RVs of different sizes? What are the dimensions and features of these spaces (e.g., pull-through or back-in)?
- **Utility Hookups:** Are water, sewer, and electrical hookups available at the RV spaces? What are the voltage and amperage of the electrical connections? How are utilities billed (included or separate)?
- **Amenities:** Does the park offer amenities such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas that would be relevant to RV residents?
- **Lot Conditions:** What is the condition of the RV lots (e.g., paved, gravel, grass)? Are there any restrictions on the age or type of RV allowed?
- **Safety and Security:** What measures are in place to ensure the safety and security of residents, especially given the reported need for public lighting?
- **Rental Rates and Terms:** What are the monthly or long-term rental rates for RV spaces? What are the lease terms and any associated fees or deposits?
- **Park Rules and Regulations:** What are the rules and regulations governing residents, including noise levels, pet policies, and maintenance of individual spaces?
Without answers to these questions and further positive feedback, it is difficult to recommend Potters Trailer Park as a viable option for 'RV parks near me'. The existing reviews suggest potential challenges that could significantly impact the living experience. However, the mention of "New Management" in the more recent update indicates a possibility of positive changes. Therefore, interested individuals should contact the park directly to ascertain the current situation, inquire about the infrastructure improvements, and assess the management's responsiveness and commitment to addressing the concerns raised in the past.
In conclusion, while Potters Trailer Park is located in Ecorse, Michigan, and might be geographically convenient for those searching in the area, the limited online reviews point to potential issues with management and infrastructure. Individuals seeking long-term RV living options should proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence by contacting the park directly to understand the current conditions, available amenities for RVs, and the management's approach to addressing past concerns. Until more positive and detailed information becomes available, potential residents should carefully weigh the risks and benefits of considering Potters Trailer Park.

Once the New Management took over they let anybody in there. could only take so much packed stuff sold the trailer and left. Update trailer park has New Management hopefully they fix it up. Definitely the streets need fixing and it needs public lighting.

Apr 28, 2022 · Amber TullosCheap, and quiet. For the most part. But expect to have meth head neighbors, and the cops showing up frequently. Not a place to raise it children that's for sure.
