Queen City Mobile Home Community DBA Elk Landing Estates Introduce
For local users seeking information about "RV parks near me" or exploring mobile home communities in Elk City, Oklahoma, Queen City Mobile Home Community, doing business as Elk Landing Estates, located at 1100 S Randall Ave, Elk City, OK 73644, USA, presents a residential option to consider. You can reach them at (580) 225-7865 or +1 580-225-7865 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to carefully consider the recent feedback from residents to gain an objective understanding of the current environment, services, and features of this community.
Based on the available reviews, Queen City Mobile Home Community DBA Elk Landing Estates appears to be undergoing a period of transition and may not currently meet the expectations of all potential residents. One reviewer describes the place as "ran down," noting a significant number of "empty and trashed trailers." This suggests a potential issue with property maintenance and the overall aesthetic appeal of the community. The reviewer further comments on a decline in the landscape maintenance, stating that "the grass is starting to cover all the trailers they don't maintain the landscape at all." Such neglect can contribute to a negative living environment and detract from the overall quality of the community.
The same reviewer attributes this decline to a change in ownership, stating, "Since the new owners took over it's gone to hell." This is a strong statement indicating a significant downturn in the perceived quality and upkeep of the mobile home park following the change in management. Potential residents should take this feedback seriously, as it directly addresses the overall living conditions and the management's approach to maintaining the property.
Another reviewer acknowledges that the "new owners are making a few cosmetic improvements." This suggests that there might be some efforts underway to address the issues. However, the reviewer quickly points out that "the majority of the mobile homes need to be discarded." This highlights a potentially more significant underlying problem with the age and condition of the existing housing stock within the community. If the majority of homes are in poor condition, even cosmetic improvements to the grounds might not fully address the concerns of prospective residents seeking comfortable and well-maintained living spaces.
Further concerns are raised regarding the quality and value of the mobile homes themselves. The reviewer states that "They are not well insulated homes" and that "They need major remodeling." These are significant issues that can impact the comfort and cost of living for residents, particularly concerning energy efficiency and the overall habitability of the units. The reviewer also expresses the opinion that the current rental cost of "$550 a month" is not justified given the condition of the homes. This suggests a potential mismatch between the price and the perceived value and quality of the housing offered.
The name change to Elk Landing Estates is also mentioned, with the reviewer noting, "Name has changed but same old worn out mobile homes." This implies that the rebranding has not been accompanied by significant improvements to the core issue of the aging and potentially dilapidated mobile homes within the community. For those seeking modern and well-maintained housing options, this feedback suggests that Elk Landing Estates might not currently offer that.
The reviewer concludes with a desire to see "newer homes brought in to rent and streets fixed." This indicates that there are also potential infrastructure issues within the community, such as the condition of the streets. Addressing these more fundamental problems, along with introducing newer and better-maintained homes, would likely be necessary to significantly improve the quality of life for residents and the overall reputation of the mobile home park.
Considering these reviews, local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might also be open to considering mobile home living should approach Queen City Mobile Home Community DBA Elk Landing Estates with caution. While it is located in Elk City, Oklahoma, and can be contacted for more information, the feedback suggests significant concerns regarding the condition of the property, the quality of the mobile homes, and potentially the value for the rental cost. The new ownership's efforts at cosmetic improvements might be a positive sign, but the underlying issues appear to be more substantial.
For those specifically seeking "RV parks near me," it is important to note that the name "Queen City Mobile Home Community" and the address suggest a focus on mobile homes rather than recreational vehicles. While some mobile home communities may offer limited spaces for RVs, this is not their primary purpose. Therefore, individuals traveling in RVs should likely seek out dedicated RV parks in the Elk City area to ensure they have access to the necessary hookups and amenities designed for recreational vehicles.
If, however, local users are indeed interested in long-term housing in a mobile home community and are considering Elk Landing Estates, a thorough on-site visit is highly recommended. During such a visit, potential residents should carefully inspect the condition of the available mobile homes, assess the overall maintenance of the grounds and infrastructure, and inquire about the management's plans for future improvements. It might also be beneficial to speak with current residents (if possible) to gain additional perspectives on the living conditions and management responsiveness.
In conclusion, while Queen City Mobile Home Community DBA Elk Landing Estates is located in Elk City, Oklahoma, and can be contacted for more information, the recent reviews indicate significant concerns about the community's condition, the quality of the mobile homes, and the value for the rental price. The new ownership is reportedly making some cosmetic improvements, but more substantial renovations and the introduction of newer housing stock seem to be needed to address the existing issues. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should verify if this community offers suitable accommodations for RVs, while those considering mobile home living here should conduct a thorough inspection and gather as much information as possible before making a decision.

Jun 18, 2019 · Patricia IronsNew owners are making a few cosmetic improvements but the majority of the mobile homes need to be discarded. They are not well insulated homes. They need major remodeling and not worth 550. a month. Name has changed but same old worn out mobile homes. Would love to see newer homes brought in to rent and streets fixed.
Aug 12, 2017 · Sheila WininghamA friend purchased a "fixer-upper" double-wide from the owners of this mobile home park & has received courtesy & prompt service with all issues. Park is being cleaned up & a nicer mobile park than i can remember.Good job.
Apr 01, 2018 · LynetteRoach infested, mice, nasty! Extremely poor quality mobile homes. Old out dated appliance's that don't work or are a fire hazard. Heating & cooling units old & most don't work. Dangerous for ANYONE to live in. Over priced! Discriminate against lower-income families also. Also discriminate against service dogs. Extremely poor management and ownership. I don't understand how the City of Elk City could let this place continue to rent two people. Yes it's that bad!
Jul 13, 2017 · imjorox 24_7_365Need to either be fixed, torn down or cleaned up! This place is awful! Someone needs to step up and get the process rolling..
