R V Park of Victoria Inc Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Victoria, Texas area, R V Park of Victoria Inc, located at 13202 N Navarro St, Victoria, TX 77904, USA, presents a somewhat mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. While one review highlights a positive interaction with the office staff and mentions a military discount and level sites, another review details a highly negative experience specifically related to purchasing propane at the park. It is essential to consider both perspectives to gain a balanced understanding of what this RV park might offer for potential visitors.
One customer had a significantly negative experience specifically concerning the purchase of propane at R V Park of Victoria Inc. This individual had been directed to the park by Tractor Supply when they were out of propane. Upon calling, they were quoted a price of $3.60 per gallon for propane and proceeded to the RV park to fill three 30lb tanks. Before any propane was dispensed, the park representative quoted a total of $81, even after being informed that one tank still contained propane. Despite this red flag, the customer proceeded, assuming they would be charged based on the actual gallons added. In the end, 20 gallons were filled into the tanks, which at the quoted price should have amounted to $72. However, the customer was still charged the initial $81 quote. Attempts to rectify the overcharge were unsuccessful, leading the customer to conclude that the park engages in deceptive pricing practices and does not honor its quoted prices. As a result of this experience, the reviewer stated they would "never go back there again," even in an emergency, labeling the park as "scam artists." This strong negative feedback regarding propane sales should be a significant consideration for anyone needing propane during their stay or while passing through.
In contrast to the negative propane experience, another reviewer shared a more positive interaction with the park. They mentioned a "nice lady in office" who provided them with cookies and a "military discount." This suggests that the park does offer discounts for military personnel and that at least one member of the office staff is friendly and welcoming. The reviewer also noted that their site was "level," which is an important factor for ensuring the proper functioning and comfort of an RV. Additionally, they observed that while the park "doesn't look new," it appears to be "well maintained." This suggests that while the facilities might be somewhat dated, they are kept in good working order. Based on their positive experience, this reviewer indicated that they would "make this our regular stop when passing this way," highlighting the potential for a satisfactory stay at the park.
This second reviewer also included a "Note name confusion," pointing out that "There is also a Victoria RV Park." This is an important piece of information for those searching for "RV parks near me" in Victoria, TX, as it indicates the potential for mistakenly contacting or visiting the wrong location if not careful with the name. Ensuring you have the correct address (13202 N Navarro St for R V Park of Victoria Inc) is crucial when planning your visit.
Considering the environment of R V Park of Victoria Inc, the positive review suggests a level site, implying a relatively even parking area for RVs. The mention of being "well maintained" suggests that the grounds and facilities are kept in reasonable condition, although they may not be modern or recently renovated. The negative review about propane does not directly comment on the physical environment of the park itself. Without further information, details about the natural setting, shade, spacing between sites, or overall ambiance of the park are not available.
In terms of services and features, the positive review mentions a friendly lady in the office, the provision of cookies, and a military discount. These are positive aspects related to customer service and potential cost savings for eligible individuals. The level sites contribute to the functionality and comfort of RV parking. The negative review focuses solely on the propane sales experience and does not provide insights into other services or features of the park. Therefore, information regarding essential amenities like hookups (water, electricity, sewer), restroom and shower facilities, laundry services, Wi-Fi access, or recreational areas is not available from these reviews.
Regarding promotional information, the mention of a "military discount" in one review indicates a specific offer for veterans or active military personnel. However, no other promotional details, such as seasonal rates, extended stay discounts, or other special offers, are provided in the available feedback. Those interested in potential discounts should inquire directly with the park management.
In conclusion, R V Park of Victoria Inc in Victoria, TX, presents a mixed bag for potential visitors searching for "RV parks near me." On the one hand, there is a report of friendly office staff, a military discount, and level, well-maintained sites, suggesting a potentially pleasant stay. On the other hand, a concerning account details alleged deceptive and dishonest practices related to propane sales. This significant negative experience cannot be ignored and should give potential guests pause, especially if they anticipate needing to purchase propane during their stay. Due to the conflicting nature of the available feedback and the lack of comprehensive information about the park's amenities and environment, it is strongly recommended that potential visitors contact R V Park of Victoria Inc directly at (361) 580-2424 or +1 361-580-2424 to inquire about current services, policies, and to seek clarification on the propane pricing and billing procedures. Additionally, it would be wise to consider the potential for confusion with another RV park in the area with a similar name. Weighing the positive aspects against the serious allegations regarding propane sales is crucial in making an informed decision about whether R V Park of Victoria Inc is the right choice for your stay in Victoria, TX.

R V Park of Victoria Inc Reviews
Do not buy your Propane here at any cost. I went tractor supply down the road and bought a 30lb tank. Tractor supply was out of propane at the time so they recommended I goto RV park of Victoria and when I called the guy on the phone Said $3.60 a gallon for propane so we went over and he filled up my propane tanks. We had 3 30lb propane tanks. Before he even connected them to fill them up he said $81 and I told him that one tank still had propane. At this point I should have left. But against my better judgment I figured he would go off how many gallons he would add. He filled into my tanks 20 gallons exactly. Which should have been $72. But than he proceeded to tell the girl at the desk $81 and I was like it was only 20 gallons. He didn’t wanna hear any of that. So after a bit of time I paid the $81 and left. I will never go back there again. Not even during an emergency they are scam artists and don’t honor their prices.

May 22, 2023 · Larry From WisconsinVery well kept park, trees are all trimmed, lawn is green perfectly mowed and edged. Manager was friendly and welcoming showed us to a long pull thru so we didn't have to disconnect our towed car. Stayed here overnight in a class A.
