The reviewer acknowledges that no place is perfect but emphasizes the positive aspects that make Ranchwood a worthwhile place to live, especially considering its fair pricing. A significant highlight is the strong sense of community among the residents, with the reviewer noting that their older neighbors are friendly and look out for their family. This intergenerational camaraderie contributes to a safe and welcoming atmosphere within the park.
Safety and security are clearly priorities at Ranchwood. The reviewer explicitly states that there are "no drug dealers in the park, no gang members, or thieves," providing reassurance to prospective residents concerned about these issues. The park's convenient location, being "pretty close to shopping and schools," adds to its practicality for families and individuals alike, offering easy access to essential amenities and services.
The management at Ranchwood receives positive feedback for their active role in maintaining the community's appearance and upholding its standards. The reviewer notes that the manager conducts daily rounds to ensure there is no trash both inside and outside the park, contributing to its overall cleanliness and tidiness. The absence of graffiti further indicates a well-cared-for environment. While acknowledging that the park is older and requires rules to prevent it from deteriorating, the reviewer finds the rules to be "pretty nice and fair." This suggests a balanced approach to community guidelines that aims to maintain a pleasant living environment without being overly restrictive.
Ranchwood Community also offers a few amenities for its residents, including a clubhouse with a pool table that is accessible at any time. Additionally, the management organizes community BBQs "every so often" (twice in the period the reviewer has lived there), which is seen as a nice gesture that fosters social interaction among residents, especially considering that many other communities do not offer such perks. A unique aspect of Ranchwood is that "everyone owns their units," which the reviewer believes contributes to residents taking good care of their properties, further enhancing the overall appearance and stability of the community. The reviewer concludes by expressing their satisfaction with living at Ranchwood and the feeling of safety it provides for their family.
A more recent review highlights the positive impact of a change in management. The reviewer states that "since management change things have been wonderful," and praises the new community manager as "wonderful," "a smiling friendly face," who "handles all of our needs." This indicates that the park is under effective and caring leadership, further contributing to a positive living experience for residents. The reviewer's expression of gratitude for the manager's care for their homes underscores the importance of responsive and attentive management in a residential community.
Considering these reviews, Ranchwood Community offers a well-managed, safe, and friendly living environment in a convenient Tucson location. The active management ensures the park is clean and well-maintained, while the sense of community among residents, including the friendly older neighbors, creates a welcoming atmosphere. Ranchwood Community Reviews
I saw the other posts and wanted to be fair and post an honest review of this place. First off no place is perfect and if it was it would cost a lot more than Ranchwood. That being said most of my neighbors are older and I appreciate that they look out for our family and say hello when we go by. There are no drug dealers in the park, no gang members, or thieves. It is pretty close to shopping and schools. The pricing is fair and the manager goes thru daily to make sure there is no trash on the inside and outside of the park. There is no graffiti ever. They are pretty nice and fair as far as the rules go. The park is older and unfortunately there has to be rules so that the park does not look like the others on the outskirts. There are a few amenities like a club house with a pool table that we can use anytime and the management has BBQs every so often. (Twice since we have been here) that's pretty nice considering most places don't give you anything. I also like the fact that everyone owns their units so people try to take care of their places pretty good. I like it here and my family feels safe.

Feb 16, 2022 · Blair4adventuresNice place but you dont want to move in here. Look ive been in this place off an on for 24yrs. They change managers like someone changes underwear. New managers change things the owner lives in California. There trying to inprove the place fine inprove it get rid of the drug dealers. Put up something for the kids so there not brakeing things. Dont come in here an try to make it into something its not.YOUR ON THE SOUTH SIDE!!! People are not going to move into a place you have to ask to wipe your butt.
Apr 11, 2018 · Shirley MartinezGreat little community. A little out dated. Property managers do their best to have fun events to include everyone and get neighbors to meet neighbors. The park has cleaned up alot in a short time. Having access to the back gates would be nice. To properly get into the park if your heading north on Palo Verde is to make a left on Drexel and turn right, right behind the park making another right. Than turning right on Palo Verde until we could turn onto our steet.Which is a pain especially if your in and out alot. I see why the gates are locked. To keep non residents and drifters from just wondering in and causing damage or conflicts. Lots of rules and regulations for being on the south-side but overall not bad.
Nov 13, 2018 · Angie DeSpainIt's worse then a HOA! They discriminate against certain types of people. Whatever you do do not let them know your or any family member, friend etc have ever gone to rehab of any type. They don't want that type of person around here. Your not allowed to have anyone pick u up or drop you off at all. That doesn't look good. Your only allowed to have white curtins in your living room windows. It's in the 147 rules you get when you apply to live in the trailer you bought, or anyone over age of 18 must fill out an application and pass background check if your going to live in the home, + $25 app fee. Little kid pools are not allowed, in your yard, or on you lot, you can have yard but nothing in it. If your car is paint faded, rough looking or just plain beat up looking, it's not allowed on property, once again they do not want that type of people here, it's a family park. There are children here. This is just some of the rules here and if you violate 1 or any you get a 7 day notice to fix the problem or face eviction. **you have to own your trailer here, no rentals allowed. *** and of course this is all enforced at the managers discretion, aka only some people have to abide by these rules. Makes living in an HOA neighborhood seem completely reasonable
