We had an okay experience here. Unfortunately, it’s not as advertised or as it appears at the entrance. While the staff was friendly, they are not on site. It appears most folks in the park are long term stays. None of these things are inherently negative, however, it is a different experience for someone just passing through.Positives:- gated access- beautiful views on the water- friendly staff- affordable- full hook ups- very quiet/peaceful- cabana was nice with great viewNegatives:- Lots of loose trash around the site. (Staff did immediately pick up most of it upon our arrival to the specified spot).- At least two dogs were off leash on the property: one collared and friendly one appeared to be a puppy.- At least two cats roaming the property. One cat definitely sprayed on and around our camper, leaving our site smelling like cat urine for the duration of our stay.- Long term residents do have a lot of stuff spread out, leaving the property with a less than desirable appearance.- Spaces are gravel, but overgrown.- We were placed next to someone sleeping in their cargo van with no hook ups and windows secured with duct tape. (normally this wouldn’t be odd, but there are no restrooms, showers nor laundry facilities on site, so it did leave us a little uncomfortable.)- We were traveling with our one year old and there wasn’t anywhere we felt would be a safe place for her to play on our site or in the park. - Rachel Hunsell
