Resthaven Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals and families considering mobile home living or an extended RV stay in the Paso Robles, California area, Resthaven Mobile Home Park presents a complex picture that warrants careful review. Located at 1950 Adelaida Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446, USA, Resthaven Mobile Home Park operates as a facility that would appear in searches for "RV parks near me," particularly for those seeking a long-term spot for their mobile home or recreational vehicle. For direct inquiries, the park can be reached at (877) 743-1836 or via mobile at +1 877-743-1836.
The environment at Resthaven Mobile Home Park, as described by long-term residents, is heavily influenced by ownership and management practices. While the physical setting of the park is not extensively detailed in the provided reviews, the focus shifts to operational aspects that significantly impact the living experience. A prominent concern is the "US MAIL situation," which is described as a "debacle." This suggests issues with mail delivery, access, or reliability, which are fundamental services for any residential community. Another critical environmental factor highlighted is the quality of communal utilities; residents report receiving a bill for "sewer, trash, and water (you can't even drink)," indicating a problem with the potable nature of the provided water supply. This raises significant health and safety concerns for residents and is a major detractor from the park's overall desirability. The perceived lack of interest from the owning company, Red Tail, in the residents' well-being, coupled with a focus on "nickel & diming" residents, fundamentally shapes the reported living environment, suggesting a focus on profit over resident satisfaction.
The services and features at Resthaven Mobile Home Park are currently undergoing changes that have caused considerable apprehension among residents. Historically, communal utilities like water, trash, and sewer were part of the monthly rent for mobile home residents, while propane and electricity were paid directly to external companies (e.g., PG&E). However, a significant recent development involves the park management contracting with an outside company, ConService, to handle utilities. While ConService proclaims a mission of "conservation of resources," residents have discovered "a whole lot of complaints that utilities skyrocketed, some up to 400%!" related to this company through the Better Business Bureau. This change introduces substantial uncertainty about future utility costs for mobile home renters. Despite having individual meters for propane and electricity, mobile home residents were notified that ConService would handle these utilities as well, creating confusion regarding billing mechanisms. The park manager reportedly clarified that ConService would primarily handle utilities for the "RV side of the park" which are on "sub-meters," but also indicated a "slight difference" in how utilities would be broken down for mobile home renters on the park's portal. This lack of clear and consistent communication from management regarding such a critical financial change is a major concern for residents, as noted by a long-term resident who states, "management does not communicate with the residents in the mobile home park, just do things that benefit Red Tail." The inability of residents to obtain requested clarification on how these changes will impact their monthly rent further exacerbates the situation, leaving them uncertain about their future financial obligations.
For those searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Resthaven Mobile Home Park presents a distinct set of challenges and considerations. While it offers spaces for both mobile homes and RVs, the current climate of utility billing changes and reported communication issues from ownership (Red Tail) and management are critical factors. RV residents on "sub-meters" are explicitly mentioned as being affected by the ConService transition, meaning RVers considering this park for a long-term stay would directly face the potential for significant utility cost increases. The reported issues with the U.S. mail situation and undrinkable water quality are also relevant for any long-term resident, regardless of whether they are in a mobile home or an RV. The park's primary appeal for an RVer might be its location in Paso Robles, but the documented concerns about transparency in utility billing and the overall operational approach of the owners and management would require careful due diligence. The long-term resident's perspective highlights a perceived prioritization of profit over resident welfare, which is a major red flag for anyone seeking a stable and predictable living environment.
From a promotional standpoint, an objective introduction to Resthaven Mobile Home Park, based on the provided resident feedback, must address the significant concerns transparently. Promotional efforts would need to navigate the reported "debacle" with mail, the unpotable water, and the very serious allegations regarding the utility company (ConService) and the owner's (Red Tail) practices. Any positive attributes of the park's physical environment, if they exist and are not contradicted by resident feedback, would need to be very clearly articulated to balance the reported negatives. However, the current information heavily emphasizes utility billing uncertainty, management communication failures, and perceived unfair practices. Therefore, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks, the objective introduction based on these reviews would serve as a crucial informational guide, advising prospective residents to conduct extensive research, specifically concerning the new utility billing system, water quality, and the park's overall management and ownership reputation, before making any commitments. The lack of clarity and responsiveness from management regarding these critical issues is a dominant theme, suggesting a challenging environment for resident relations.

Resthaven Mobile Home Park Reviews
The US MAIL situation is a debacle. We've lived here for over 20 years, and now we get a bill for sewer, trash, and water (you can't even drink). 🤔🤔
Apr 15, 2025 · Kelley HeathResthaven is owned by Red Tail, a commercial real estate company, who continues to show little to no interest in the residents & more interested in nickel & diming us in order to put a few more pennies in their pocket. Latest issue: park management is contracting with an outside company called ConService to handle the utilities. I received a notice from that company who proclaimed that their mission is conservation of resources yet after doing a deep dive into that company on Better Business Bureau discovered a whole lot of complaints that utilities skyrocketed, some up to 400%! I live in the mobile home section with meters for propane & electricity, yet according to the form letter, those utilities will be handled by ConService. I pay rent via the Resthaven portal & the communal utilities (water, trash sewer) are part of the monthly rent & I pay the propane company & PG&E direct for those utilities. According to the park manager, the company would be handling the utilities for the RV side of the park; the RV’s are on a “sub-meter” not the mobile home section however, according to the manager, there will be a “slight” difference” on how the utilities will be broken down on the portal for the mobile home renters. The fact that I even received that notification from park management once again proves my previous complaint that management does not communicate with the residents in the mobile home park, just do things that benefit Red Tail. I have requested further information from management to clarify how this is going to work, but I have not received any information back. SO it remains to be seen what happens when ConService “takes over” the utilities & how much my monthly rent will be impacted.

Jun 26, 2024 · Stephen JanowskiI really appreciate all the weed whacking in cleanup that has been done around here lately it's looking really good. Green waste will be a problem once the trees start falling their leaves. We will need more green waste barrels or put it on the ground or in bags. Thank you for asking
Oct 14, 2024 · Joni LittleThere is no way to contact Resthaven. The Resthaven payment site is not working. Got notification from something called Comservice which needs clarification. Communication with Resthaven is not available.
