Riverlane Mobile Home Community Introduce
For individuals and families exploring the "RV Parks Near Me" category, particularly those interested in long-term residency for manufactured homes or extended RV stays, Riverlane Mobile Home Community in Omro, WI, presents a significantly improved and highly regarded option. Located at 9 Glacier Ln, Omro, WI 54963, USA, this community has undergone positive transformations under new ownership, fostering a peaceful and well-managed environment. While primarily a mobile home park, its features and a focus on long-term stability could appeal to RV owners seeking a more permanent base. This introduction will provide an objective overview, drawing heavily from recent resident testimonials that highlight the community's strengths and areas for minor consideration.
Riverlane Mobile Home Community is situated in Omro, Wisconsin, a small city that offers a blend of rural tranquility and suburban convenience. The park's location on Glacier Lane, near the Fox River and Lake Butte des Morts, suggests a natural environment that could appeal to those who enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, boating, or simply appreciating waterfront scenery, although direct river access from the park is not explicitly detailed.
Crucially, resident reviews emphasize the park's internal environment as "generally a quiet community." This tranquility is a significant draw, particularly for "mostly just elderly/retirees, disabled, or single workaholic types," as noted by a long-term resident. The community fosters an atmosphere where residents "enjoy their peace & quiet and keep to themselves," implying a respectful and considerate neighborhood.
Furthermore, a notable improvement in the park's physical environment is the "road to come into the lot has been fixed which is so nice now, instead of worrying about something breaking on your vehicle because of how bumpy and bad it was." This signifies a commitment by the new ownership to maintain and upgrade infrastructure, enhancing the daily living experience for all residents. The "empty lots around are well maintained," indicating a proactive approach to keeping the entire community tidy and presentable, rather than allowing vacant spaces to detract from the overall aesthetic. The presence of a "giant front area space" that one resident uses for dog activities suggests open, communal green areas within the park, contributing to its spacious feel. Wisconsin's climate, with its distinct four seasons, offers a varied natural backdrop throughout the year, from lush summers to snowy winters.
Riverlane Mobile Home Community has significantly improved its services and amenities, primarily due to the new ownership and the highly praised park manager, Cindy. Residents laud Cindy as "the nicest manager around & has a lot of patience," highlighting her approachable and supportive demeanor. This positive management is a cornerstone of the park's improved reputation.
A key service enhancement is the billing process: "they itemize & give time, on your lot rent bill." This transparency in billing, coupled with convenient payment options like "pay online or auto-pay," greatly simplifies financial management for residents. This modern approach to rent collection reflects a commitment to resident convenience and professional operations. While specific details on included utilities are not fully laid out, the reasonable "Lot rent and taxes and such are reasonable" and the emphasis on clarity suggest a fair pricing structure.
The park also implements "more consistent with background checks," which contributes directly to a safer and more harmonious community by screening new residents. This focus on tenant quality helps in ensuring a "no more trouble with hillbilly neighbors or delinquents" environment, as one long-term resident gratefully observed. The park is pet-friendly, but with clear expectations: "keep pets tethered," indicating a responsible pet policy to ensure safety and peace within the community. Phone numbers are available for inquiries: (920) 354-6696 and +1 920-354-6696, ensuring direct communication with management.
The most compelling feature of Riverlane Mobile Home Community is the dramatic "GREATLY IMPROVED" living experience under new ownership. This transformation, from a previously problematic park to a highly rated one, speaks volumes about the current management's dedication. The consistency of positive feedback from residents, some with nearly 20 years of tenure, reinforces this improvement.
The community's demographic, "mostly just elderly/retirees, disabled, or single workaholic types," contributes to its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. While there are "families in here with children, but not many," the overall environment caters to those who value tranquility and privacy. This demographic composition is a key feature for prospective residents seeking a specific type of community dynamic.
Another significant feature is the ongoing commitment to property maintenance. The "road to come into the lot has been fixed" is a tangible example of this. The emphasis on residents maintaining their "yard, home, keep pets tethered & pay your lot rent on time" suggests a mutual commitment to community standards and property aesthetics. This reciprocal relationship between management and tenants fosters a well-kept and attractive environment. The desire for a "small fenced-in dog park" indicates that while current pet amenities might be limited, there is a large open space available that residents utilize, demonstrating the park's potential for further enhancements based on resident feedback. The "good community and pretty decent neighbors" are invaluable features, indicating a positive social fabric within the park.
For those actively searching for "RV Parks Near Me" with a view towards long-term living, or a stable and quiet mobile home community, Riverlane Mobile Home Community in Omro, WI, should be a top consideration. Its journey of "GREATLY IMPROVED" conditions under new ownership makes it a compelling option.

Riverlane Mobile Home Community Reviews
I'm Rose, been here almost 20yrs on Brentwood!!! Years ago, I gave the park only one star...I can say; it has 'GREATLY IMPROVED' with the 'NEW' owners and no more trouble with hillbilly neighbors or delinquents, more consistent with background checks...I enjoy the fact; they itemize & give time, on your lot rent bill...And can pay online or auto-pay...Cindy is the nicest manager around & has a lot of patience...I can only say, I wish; we had a small fenced-in dog park, to play ball & let the dogs run...I use the giant front area space; for my dog, to play frisbee & ball, while I wait for the mailman...It's generally; a quiet community & mostly just elderly/retirees, disabled, or single workaholic types...There are families in here with children, but not many...It's a decent place to live; but it's more for those, who enjoy their peace & quiet and keep to themselves...Long as you keep up; with your yard, home, keep pets tethered & pay your lot rent on time...All is good!!!
Feb 03, 2025 · bengaraBeen living here for I think 3 years now. I own my own mobile home. Lot rent and taxes and such are reasonable. The empty lots around are well maintained. I don't have any issues with the lot owner she's very nice and easy to talk to. The road to come into the lot has been fixed which is so nice now, instead of worrying about something breaking on your vehicle because of how bumpy and bad it was. The only issue after that is the amount of dogs that run lose around here, I'm always so scared I might accidently hit one just because they sometimes just jump out at your vehicle. I drive very careful because of that and because there are children around as well. Other than that good community and pretty decent neighbors ☺️
Oct 23, 2024 · ValkyriezombieNice place to live, but this place needs it's repairs. The water pipes are so old, the water tastes like sulfer. I had a water assessment done, the water is beyond safety drinking. From what I was told by two sources, when the place was sold to them, the previous owners paid to have the pipes and sewers replaced, but they were never done and the money was pocketed. This small community was build on a swamp land. If I would of known that, I would of found another place to live.
Oct 27, 2024 · CraigWent through all the hoops to buy a manufactured home....which both were damaged. One having entire roof busted when it was delivered. The concret6pads they are on looks like a 5-year-old poured it. Homes needed so much work I got a 5000$ buy as is offer...I was turned down due to an eviction 20 years ago!!! Getting a return call dam near impossible.
