Riviera Courts Introduce
For individuals seeking housing in the Murray, Kentucky area, Riviera Courts, located at 1414 N 12th St, Murray, KY 42071, is a mobile home park that warrants careful consideration. Although the platform category is listed as "RV parks near me," this introduction focuses on Riviera Courts as a potential long-term or semi-permanent residential option. It is important to note that mobile home parks typically differ from RV parks in their infrastructure and focus on longer-term tenancies.
The available information regarding Riviera Courts is derived from customer reviews that express significant concerns about the living conditions and management practices. These reviews paint a picture that potential residents should thoroughly evaluate before making any decisions. The provided contact numbers for Riviera Courts are (270) 753-3280 and +1 270-753-3280. It is strongly recommended that prospective tenants contact the management directly to seek clarification and current information regarding the issues raised in the reviews, as well as to inquire about current vacancies, rental costs, and park policies.
One resident shared a concerning experience regarding frequent and seemingly indiscriminate smoke alarm activations, stating that complaints about this issue were dismissed by management with the response that "everyone has to deal with that." This suggests a potential systemic problem with the smoke alarm system and a lack of effective resolution from the management, which could be disruptive to residents.
The same review also highlighted a stringent policy regarding vehicles with flat tires. According to this account, even if a vehicle with two flat tires is parked in front of the resident's home, the park management might attempt to tow it without prior notification beyond a sticker placed on the window. The difficulty in removing these stickers was also mentioned. This policy could pose a significant inconvenience and financial burden on residents facing unexpected vehicle issues.
Financial transparency is another area of concern raised in the reviews. One resident noted that while the advertised rent was around $850, additional fees could push the total cost to between $945 and $1000. This discrepancy between the advertised price and the actual cost, including undisclosed fees, is a crucial point for potential tenants to investigate thoroughly to avoid unexpected expenses.
Plumbing issues were also mentioned as a problem within Riviera Courts. While the specifics of these issues are not detailed, any recurring plumbing problems can lead to significant inconvenience and potential damage to residents' homes. Prospective tenants should inquire about the age and condition of the plumbing infrastructure within the park and the management's responsiveness to repair requests.
Waste disposal is another area where the park appears to have limitations. Residents reportedly have to transport their trash to communal dumpsters located at the pavilion, which may not be conveniently accessible from all parts of the park. This lack of individual trash collection service could be an added inconvenience for residents, requiring them to use their own vehicles to dispose of waste.
Based on these negative experiences, one reviewer explicitly stated that they would not recommend living at Riviera Courts unless it was their "last and only resort for living." This strong condemnation underscores the severity of the issues encountered by at least one resident.
Another review corroborated several of these concerns and raised additional critical points. This reviewer claimed that the trailers within the park are not properly set up and lack adequate protection from weather damage. Such conditions could lead to structural issues, discomfort for residents, and potentially higher utility bills due to poor insulation or weather sealing.
Furthermore, the condition of the park's infrastructure, particularly the roads, was heavily criticized. The reviewer described the roads as having numerous potholes and never being cleared of ice or snow during inclement weather. Additionally, areas within the park reportedly hold water to such an extent that residents have to wade through ponds to get in and out of their cars. These infrastructure issues pose significant safety hazards and severely impact the quality of life for residents, limiting mobility and potentially causing damage to vehicles.
The cost of renting a trailer at Riviera Courts was also deemed exorbitant by this reviewer, with a monthly rent close to $900, excluding utilities. In light of the reported poor conditions and lack of adequate services, this rental price was considered a "joke." The reviewer also mentioned that comments from other tenants on Facebook allegedly reveal a consistent pattern of negative experiences.
Finally, a particularly concerning issue raised was the frequent water shut-offs affecting the entire park, reportedly occurring nearly once a week. Such frequent disruptions to essential water service can severely impact daily life, hygiene, and overall comfort for residents.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback in the available reviews, potential local users searching for housing options, even within the broader category of "RV parks near me," should be extremely cautious about Riviera Courts. The reported issues concerning management policies, infrastructure, maintenance, and utility reliability raise significant red flags.
There is no promotional information available for Riviera Courts in the provided data. The strong negative sentiment expressed in the reviews suggests that the park may be facing significant challenges in resident satisfaction.
In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, Riviera Courts in Murray, Kentucky, appears to have several significant issues that prospective residents should be aware of. These include restrictive vehicle policies, potential hidden fees, plumbing problems, inconvenient waste disposal, poorly maintained infrastructure (roads, weather protection of trailers), frequent water shut-offs, and concerns about management responsiveness. While it is listed under a platform that includes "RV parks near me," individuals seeking long-term housing in Murray should conduct very thorough due diligence, including contacting the management directly for explanations and current information, and ideally visiting the park to assess the conditions firsthand before considering residency at Riviera Courts. The strongly negative experiences shared by past and current residents warrant extreme caution.

Riviera Courts Reviews
I’ve been here for a couple of months almost a year with all the smoke alarms going off at anytime and if you say something about it, they’re just gonna tell you everyone has to deal with that. If your car happens to have two flat tires Even with it being parked in front of your home, they will try to tow your car. So if life happens and you end up with a flat tire, your car will be towed. They’re not gonna call you and let you know that they’re gonna tow your car or that. Hey, you should put air in your tire they will put a sticker on your window. That is very very hard to get off It’s advertised as 850 but with all the fees it’s gonna arrange about 945 to $1000 there’s plumbing issues. The whole pavilion uses dumpsters that’s not close So you’re gonna have to put your trash in your car and take it to the dump. I do not recommend living here unless this is your last and only resort for living.
Apr 24, 2025 · Ebonique BrooksI would never live here. Trailers are not properly set up and protected from weather damage. The roads are pot holed, never cleared of ice or snow, and areas hold water to the point that people can't get in and out of their cars without wading through ponds. Top all of that off with what they charge to rent a trailer, close to almost $900 a month, not including utilities, it's a joke. If you read comments on Facebook from other tenants you would see a pattern. Not to mention the water is shut off nearly once a week to everyone in the park.

Oct 29, 2024 · Anthony NavarretteDani is absolutely fantastic, due to an unforeseen circumstance I have to move fairly quickly, (renting a private home that owners are selling), from the showing of the home to the application process to approval took 2 business days. I am so looking forward to being a part of the Riviera Courts Community! Thank you for making this process as streamlined and stress free as possible!
Sep 16, 2024 · Angela BarberWe went to and met with a young man a couple of days ago, I am horrible with names. I believe he was the manager. He showed me and my daughter one of the three bedroom units. It was very nice. The park is nice. They have great ideas for the future. I was very impressed. My husband and I are going to apply to be residents. We are very excited. They have a little park for our grandkids. They even have a neighborhood watch. We are residents now and are very happy living here. Danni is great!
