RV Express Introduce
Welcome to RV Express, an RV park located at 421 Americana in Boonville, Missouri. Situated conveniently for travelers passing through or looking for a stopover in the area, RV Express offers full hookup sites for recreational vehicles. For those searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Boonville region, RV Express aims to provide essential amenities for a comfortable, albeit potentially brief, stay.
Based on recent customer feedback, RV Express offers the fundamental necessity of full hookups, which typically include water, electricity, and sewer connections for your RV. This can be particularly appealing for RVers who require these connections for their onboard systems to function properly, especially during overnight stays. The location of the park is also noted as convenient, likely due to its proximity to local thoroughfares and possibly nearby amenities.
One of the frequently mentioned advantages of RV Express is its location directly across the street from a McDonald's restaurant. This proximity can be beneficial for travelers seeking quick and easy meal options or needing access to a reliable Wi-Fi signal, as one reviewer noted the park's own Wi-Fi as being very slow. For those who rely on internet connectivity for work, communication, or entertainment, the nearby McDonald's could serve as a viable alternative for accessing a stronger wireless network.
However, it is important to consider some of the concerns raised by recent visitors. One significant issue highlighted in the reviews is the condition of the grounds, specifically regarding pet waste. Multiple reviewers have indicated that dog feces were prevalent throughout the RV lot, requiring careful attention to avoid. This is a crucial factor for potential guests, especially those traveling with pets or young children, as it impacts the overall cleanliness and enjoyment of the outdoor space.
Another point of feedback concerns the organization and maintenance of the RV sites. Reviewers have mentioned that the sites were not clearly numbered or marked off. While one past user recalled seeing red lines on the gravel, a more recent observation in July 2019 indicated that these markings were no longer visible. This lack of clear site demarcation could potentially lead to confusion when parking or navigating the RV park.
Furthermore, there have been comments regarding the functionality of the hookups. One reviewer described the water connection as being on a splitter and noted that a directional faucet was not working. This suggests that while full hookups are advertised, the condition and functionality of these connections may vary and could potentially cause inconvenience for some guests.
The pricing of RV Express has also been a point of contention in the feedback. One reviewer mentioned that while a price of $20 per night would be reasonable, they were charged $40 per night. This discrepancy between perceived value and actual cost is an important consideration for budget-conscious travelers. It is advisable to confirm the current nightly rates and any additional charges before booking a stay at RV Express.
Additionally, one guest reported not receiving a Wi-Fi code, further contributing to the issues with internet access within the park itself. This reinforces the earlier point about the unreliability of the on-site Wi-Fi and the potential reliance on the Wi-Fi at the nearby McDonald's.
It appears from the reviews that a significant portion of the spaces at RV Express are occupied by long-term residents. While this can sometimes foster a sense of community, it might also contribute to some of the issues raised, such as the lack of adherence to pet area guidelines if long-term residents are less inclined to use designated spaces. For short-term visitors, a high number of long-term residents could also potentially impact the availability of prime spots or the overall atmosphere of the park.
In summary, RV Express in Boonville, MO, offers a conveniently located RV park with full hookups, making it a potential option for an overnight stay or a brief stopover. Its proximity to a McDonald's provides easy access to meals and potentially reliable Wi-Fi. However, prospective guests should be aware of the reported issues concerning the cleanliness of the grounds due to pet waste, the lack of clear site markings, potential problems with hookup functionality, the reported discrepancy in pricing, and the unreliability of the park's Wi-Fi. The apparent prevalence of long-term residents is also a factor to consider.
For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' and considering RV Express, it is recommended to weigh the convenience of its location and full hookups against the concerns raised in recent customer reviews. If a quick overnight stay with essential hookups is your primary need, and you are prepared for the potential drawbacks mentioned, RV Express could be a viable option. However, if factors such as cleanliness, reliable amenities, and a well-maintained environment are high priorities, it may be prudent to explore alternative RV parks in the Boonville area.

RV Express Reviews
Convenient location & full hookup, this place was ok for an overnight stay. Wifi was very slow, so if you are relying on internet accessibility you may want to pass. However, McDonald's is right across the street & their signal was good so you may find that helpful. Sites aren't numbered or marked off. (Another user stated there were red lines painted on the gravel but as of July, 2019 we didn't see any.) Water spicket had a bad leak. The worst part was the dog feces, literally EVERYWHERE in the lot. You have to watch every single step you take because it's ALL OVER. There is a sign near a little grassy area that says "Pet Area," but it is obvious that no one there uses it. It appears the majority of the spaces are taken by long term residents. We would not stay here again unless there was no alternative.
Jul 07, 2019 · supermommie309Good $20/night campground. Unfortunately they charge $40/night. "Full" hookups but water on splitter and directional faucet doesn't work. No wifi code available. Would not stay here again
Nov 21, 2021 · trish mooresI guess the phrase "It is what it is" applies here. A level gravel lot with 30 amp power There were multiple trailers that looked like they were there to stay. We were going to Colorado and needed a place to plug in and sleep overnight. It's a good overnight stop if you are traveling. If you are looking for some where to stay multiple days with your family, you might want to find another spot. If your going to just make a pit stop overnight to sleep, this one is just what you need!
Jul 29, 2019 · Chris GraueVery nice place quiet and drama free!! The maintenance staff is very attentive and the owner makes sure that everything is in top working order and that you have everything you want and need and help setting up if you need!! Very friendly and very reasonable pricing!! The only thing I would change would be the gravel for some grass
Feb 07, 2021 · Stacy ThomasEven though this park is full hookup it definitely is a no-frills park. About 13 sites (hard to tell), some occupied by long-term residents so only about 4 sites actually available, these marked off in the gravel by red paint lines. Sites aren't very level. A very small park, difficult to manuver for medium to large rigs, we had some difficulty even with a 30-foot TT. Billboard sign says $20 but a taped-on sign & registration form says $30, which is still cheaper than other parks in this area, most of which are around $40. Only positives are convenience to I-70, McDonald's and gas/ c-stores.
