We sold our home in May of this year, bought a RV and needed someplace to put it. I found this RV park while driving for O'REILLY's. Taked to Mgr Christy and got a spot the same day. The park is very well maintained by Kenny. We have gotten lots of help from both of our Mgrs and my wife and I are very pleased the way we are treated around this clean and quiet setting. - Curt Linker

RV Park Introduce

For those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Bunnell, Florida area, the RV Park located at 2551 N State St, Bunnell, FL 32110, presents itself as a notable option. While simply listed as "RV Park" in the provided information, online sources often refer to this location as Palm Coast RV Park or Pine and Palm RV Park, indicating a consistent identity for the establishment. This detailed introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park, combining publicly available information with a synthesis of customer feedback to offer a comprehensive picture for prospective residents and visitors.

The RV Park is situated at 2551 N State St (US1) in Bunnell, Florida. Bunnell is a small town in Flagler County, offering a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere compared to bustling urban centers. Its location provides convenient access to both the historic charm of St. Augustine to the north and the vibrant attractions of Daytona Beach to the south, each approximately 25-40 minutes away. Flagler Beach, with its oceanfront allure, is also a short 11-mile drive west. This strategic placement allows residents to enjoy a peaceful, small-town feeling while remaining within a reasonable distance of major Florida destinations and attractions. The park's address on N State St (US1) suggests easy accessibility for RVs of all sizes.

The environment of the RV Park, as described by some residents, is characterized by its "clean and quiet setting" with "lots of big mature pine trees and a really nice pond." This imagery suggests a natural and serene atmosphere, appealing to those who appreciate peace and greenery. The park aims to be a well-maintained property, with mentions of dedicated staff like "Kenny" ensuring its upkeep. However, it's also important to consider differing perspectives, as some reviews describe the environment as a "dirty field dressed up as a campground" with "washed out" roads, which could significantly impact the comfort and even vehicle maintenance for residents. These contrasting descriptions highlight the importance of an in-person visit to assess the current condition of the grounds and infrastructure.

Regarding services, the RV Park offers comprehensive hookups essential for RV living. It provides full hookup spaces, including 30 and 50 Amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections for RVs and campers. This indicates that the park is well-equipped for both short-term and extended stays. Other crucial amenities mentioned include public restrooms, showers, and coin-operated laundry facilities, which are vital for RV travelers and long-term residents alike. Complimentary WiFi is also provided, a significant convenience for modern connectivity needs. Furthermore, the park offers RV and boat storage spaces, catering to residents with additional vehicles or those who need a secure place to store their recreational gear. The presence of a restaurant within walking distance suggests a convenient dining option, potentially offering entertainment like axe throwing, live music, and karaoke nights, adding a social dimension to the park's offerings.

The features of this RV Park highlight its suitability for various types of RV travelers and long-term residents. With 76 full hookup spaces and the capacity to accommodate units up to 45 feet with slide-outs, it is "Big Rig Friendly." The sites typically feature crushed millings for parking and a grassy area for outdoor relaxation. A "catch and release pond" on the premises is a unique feature, offering a recreational activity for fishing enthusiasts. The park's emphasis on a "small-town feeling" and "friendly neighbors" points to a community-oriented environment, which can be a strong draw for those seeking a stable and welcoming place to reside. Its proximity to the Lehigh Trailhead across the road also caters to individuals interested in biking and hiking. Given the mixed reviews, the park's features are presented with an acknowledgment of potential inconsistencies in quality and experience.

From a promotional standpoint, the RV Park positions itself as a practical and comfortable option for RVers in the Bunnell area. It advertises affordable rates, including nightly, weekly, and monthly options that cover electric, water, sewer, and tax. The park highlights its clean facilities, spacious sites, and quiet setting as key benefits. Testimonials from satisfied customers mention the "great improvements" seen in the park and the helpfulness of management, specifically naming "Mgr Christy and Kenny." The positive experiences regarding the swift availability of a spot and favorable treatment from management are strong promotional points for those in immediate need of an RV site. The park's appeal also lies in its strategic location, offering easy access to Florida's coast and major attractions while providing a peaceful base. However, the presence of highly critical reviews from a former resident, detailing issues with road conditions, pest infestation (roaches and rats), and alleged unfair treatment by a new owner (Paul Larson) regarding pet and amenity policies, significantly complicates any promotional claims of universal satisfaction or ideal living conditions. These negative experiences, including allegations of emotional distress and lack of support, serve as a cautionary note, suggesting that prospective residents should verify conditions and policies thoroughly.

In conclusion, the RV Park at 2551 N State St in Bunnell, FL, commonly known as Palm Coast RV Park or Pine and Palm RV Park, offers full hookup RV sites and a range of amenities suitable for both short-term and long-term stays. Its location provides a balance of peaceful living with accessibility to coastal attractions. While some reviews commend the park's cleanliness, quietude, and helpful management, others raise serious concerns about road conditions, pest issues, and management's conduct, particularly under new ownership. Therefore, for anyone searching for "RV parks near me" and considering this location, it is highly advisable to conduct a personal visit to assess the current state of the park's environment, verify all rules and regulations, and discuss any concerns directly with the management before making a commitment. This comprehensive approach will ensure an informed decision about whether this RV Park aligns with individual expectations and needs.
