Encore Bulow Introduce
For those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Flagler Beach, Florida area, Encore Bulow, situated at 3345 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach, FL 32136, USA, offers a campground experience with a notable location and a variety of amenities. You can contact Encore Bulow directly at (386) 439-9200 or +1 386-439-9200 for inquiries and reservations.
One enthusiastic review highlights several appealing aspects of Encore Bulow. The guest praised the "perfect" location, noting the close proximity to anything a traveler might need. The strategic location also provides easy access to "lots of adventures within 1-2 hours," suggesting it as a convenient base for exploring the surrounding region. The natural beauty of the campground is also mentioned, with specific appreciation for the "old oaks" within the park.
The accommodating nature of the office staff is another positive point raised by this reviewer. However, a contrasting review offers a different perspective on the office personnel, which will be discussed later. A significant highlight for the positive reviewer is "the roadhouse," which serves as a central hub for activities such as bingo, game nights, food, and a bar. These offerings appear to have significantly enhanced the guest's stay, making it "so much fun," and contributed to their definite intention to return.
Another guest who stayed at Encore Bulow emphasized the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the campground, stating, "I really did enjoy staying here because it was so peaceful and quiet." This suggests that Encore Bulow can provide a tranquil retreat for those seeking a relaxing environment. The location also received praise for its convenient access to both the ocean and major stores in the opposite direction, offering a balance between natural attractions and urban conveniences.
However, this second reviewer expressed significant concerns regarding the office staff. While acknowledging that "One lady is friendly," they noted that "the others could care less about what you want or need." A specific incident was recounted where the staff member behind the counter appeared more focused on babysitting a toddler than assisting a paying guest with a question. This lack of attentiveness and professionalism is a serious concern raised by this reviewer. Furthermore, they reported receiving incorrect information about parking, which led to confusion and inconvenience for almost a week until a maintenance man provided the correct guidance. This suggests potential issues with the accuracy and helpfulness of some members of the office staff.
In contrast to the negative experience with some office staff, the second reviewer had a positive experience with the maintenance team, stating, "There are two maintenance guys there and both of them are very friendly and helpful." This indicates a potential disparity in the quality of service provided by different staff members within the campground.
It is important to note that the second review also mentions that their stay was "only a few weeks after a recent hurricane" and that the area "got hit pretty hard with tornadoes." This context is crucial as it may have impacted the overall condition and service levels at the campground. Despite this, the reviewer found the pool and laundry room to be "nice and clean," suggesting that these essential amenities were well-maintained even after the weather event.
Despite the issues with some of the office staff, the second reviewer indicated a willingness to return to Encore Bulow, stating, "Would I go again? Yes." However, they stopped short of considering it a "very nice resort," suggesting that while the location and some amenities are appealing, there are areas for improvement. They concluded by stating that the campground "definitely borderlines on a 'trailer park' rather than a resort," indicating a perception that the facilities and services might be more basic than those typically associated with a resort.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Encore Bulow offers a blend of natural beauty with its "old oaks" and a convenient location providing access to both the coast and commercial areas. The atmosphere is described as both peaceful and potentially lively due to the activities at "the roadhouse." However, the overall aesthetic and facilities might be perceived as more akin to a traditional campground or "trailer park" than a luxury resort.
In terms of services and features, Encore Bulow appears to offer essential amenities such as a pool and laundry room, which at least one reviewer found to be clean. The "roadhouse" is a significant feature, providing entertainment and social opportunities through bingo, game nights, food, and a bar. The presence of friendly and helpful maintenance staff is also noted. However, the varying experiences with the office staff, ranging from accommodating to unhelpful and inattentive, suggest inconsistencies in customer service. Specific details about RV hookups (water, electricity, sewer), Wi-Fi availability, restroom facilities, or other recreational amenities are not consistently mentioned in these reviews, making a comprehensive list difficult to compile.
No specific promotional information, discounts, or special offers are mentioned in either of the provided reviews. Local users would need to contact Encore Bulow directly to inquire about current rates, seasonal specials, or any long-term stay options.
In conclusion, Encore Bulow in Flagler Beach, FL, offers a campground with a desirable location providing easy access to local conveniences and regional attractions, including the ocean. The presence of beautiful old oaks adds to the natural charm, and the "roadhouse" provides a social hub with various activities. While some guests have found the office staff accommodating, others have reported negative experiences with certain members. The maintenance staff is noted as being friendly and helpful. The campground is recovering from recent weather events, and while essential amenities like the pool and laundry room are clean, the overall impression is that of a more basic "trailer park" style campground rather than a high-end resort. Potential visitors should weigh the positive aspects of location and activities against the reported inconsistencies in office staff service and the overall classification of the park when making their decision. Direct communication with Encore Bulow is recommended to gather the most up-to-date information on services, features, and any current promotions.

Encore Bulow Reviews
We love staying at this campground. The location is perfect with anything you could possibly need very close by. There are lots of adventures within 1-2 hours. The old oaks in the campground are beautiful. The office is very accommodating. The highlight is the activities at “the roadhouse”, bingo, game nights, food and the bar. This made our stay so much fun. We will definitely be back.
Apr 03, 2025 · hikemaine1I really did enjoy staying here because it was so peaceful and quiet. I love how that there was a great way to go to the ocean or go in the opposite direction to all the major stores. I will say, though that their office staff is not good. One lady is friendly and the others could care less about what you want or need. One time I went in there to ask a question and there was a toddler running around with toys everywhere. This didn’t bother me but what did bother me was that the lady behind the counter could care less about why I came in and only seemed to care about paying attention to what the kid was that she was babysitting rather than what I ( a paying guest) needed. They even gave me the wrong information on where to park and it was a whole mess for almost a week before I could figure out the correct direction from the maintenance man. There are two maintenance guys there and both of them are very friendly and helpful. It’s hard to judge everything else because this was only a few weeks after a recent hurricane and I know they got hit pretty hard with tornadoes. The pool and laundry room were nice and clean. Would I go again? Yes. Do I consider it a very nice resort? No. It definitely borderlines on a “trailer park” rather than a resort.
Dec 21, 2024 · Samantha BowieI stayed in a little cabin 2 cottage like it's got 5 of them lined up in a row. It's got a pool , 3 or 4 showers, and 1 has shower bench, and the showers and bathrooms are located near pool. And it's also has a lot of spots for RV's and pull along campers and a very beautiful place to stay, and security people patrolling the camp site area. No one boughters anyone.
May 05, 2025 · Darron EllingtonWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool is beautiful!! The staff was very helpful when we realized we had booked the wrong type of site. Our dogs loved the dog park. The bathhouse was clean.
Apr 16, 2025 · Lorene PalmerI stayed here for a week with a 43ft fifth wheel RV. Had an overall decent stay.First let’s clarify that this is not a resort. The quality of grounds and amenities are not resort style and there are no other offerings. The RV sites and roads are inconsistent. Some roads are gravel, other sand and some paved. Some RV sites are paved, some dirt and sand and some are just grass. Looks messy and disorganized. We settled in a space that fit us okay and were overall satisfied considering some of the spots we saw.Part of the campground seems to be residential and there were many structures there- some trailer homes and some RV left to rot or perhaps still habitable as I saw a few dogs chained outside on some properties. The section where temporary guest park is somewhat better maintained. The pool looked to be very clean and the area around it tidy. The laundry room looked clean. The activity center only opens in the evenings and mostly older folks hang out there for bingo. There are no kid or family friendly amenities or activities. The location is okay with being in the middle between Daytona Beach and Saint Augustine. Nice neighbourhoods near by and shopping centers where you can get everything you need.Beware of the roads with sand here. We watched a Class A for 3 hours trying to dig out of a sand ditch they got stuck in while backing into their spot.We never met or interacted with staff while here.We did enjoy the short walking trail and the big trees.Overall we would not return here unless we absolutely need to make a stop in this area.
