Palm Coast RV Park Introduce
For those searching for budget-friendly and amenity-rich "RV parks near me" in the Bunnell, Florida area, Palm Coast RV Park, located at 2535 N State St, Bunnell, FL 32110, USA, offers a range of features that cater to both short-term and potentially long-term stays. With contact numbers (386) 437-3135 and +1 386-437-3135, this park boasts practical amenities, proximity to attractions, and engaging management, though recent policy changes regarding canopies have been noted by guests.
Bunnell is situated in Flagler County, Florida, conveniently located near the popular Palm Coast and the Daytona/Ormond Beach areas. Palm Coast is known for its beautiful beaches, scenic waterways, and European Village, while Daytona and Ormond offer world-famous beaches and motorcycling events. Palm Coast RV Park's location on North State Street provides relatively easy access to these coastal attractions, making it a suitable base for exploring the region. Additionally, its proximity to a dirt track racetrack and an Eagles legion offers unique entertainment options right next to the park.
The environment at Palm Coast RV Park is described by guests as having several appealing aspects. One of the highlights is a "huge pond with two alligators" that guests can observe from public swings around the pond, offering a unique Florida wildlife experience within the park. The availability of both "electric hook up" parking spots and "Boondocking spots" caters to different types of RVers. The park is generally considered clean, with reviewers specifically mentioning "clean" bathrooms and a "great" laundry area. The presence of a dirt track racetrack right next to the park provides free entertainment for those interested in racing. While a bar once operated next to the park, it was under renovation at the time of the reviews, suggesting a potential future amenity. However, a significant recent change to the park's environment involves a policy enforced by the owners requiring the removal of all canopies, sun shades, and tents used by guests outside their RVs, a decision that has reportedly "pissed off a lot of their guests."
The services at Palm Coast RV Park appear to be comprehensive for a comfortable stay. Guests have praised the "hot clean long showers any hour of the day," even during periods of high washing machine usage, indicating reliable water heating. The laundry area is noted as "great," suggesting well-maintained and functional machines. The managers, Christy and Kevin, are described as "very down to earth engaging and accommodating people," indicating a positive and helpful management presence. The availability of both full hookup sites and boondocking options provides flexibility for different RV needs. While the dirt roads within the park are a noted drawback, needing a "redo" due to "lots of potholes and a very rough ride in and out," the essential services seem to be well-maintained. The proximity to an Eagles legion offers a convenient option for drinks within walking distance.
The features of Palm Coast RV Park include its affordability ("nicely priced"), the unique alligator pond, the adjacent dirt track racetrack offering free entertainment, and the proximity to the beach (15 minutes away) and other attractions in Palm Coast, Daytona, Ormond, and St. Augustine. The engaging and accommodating nature of the managers is also a significant feature contributing to a positive guest experience. The availability of both hookup and boondocking sites caters to a wider range of RVers. However, the recently enforced policy requiring the removal of canopies and sun shades is a notable feature that has negatively impacted many guests. Another mentioned feature, though currently under renovation, is a bar located next to the park, which held promise for added convenience and character.
The customer reviews offer a mixed but informative perspective on Palm Coast RV Park. The initial positive review highlights the excellent showers, ample parking, the unique alligator pond, clean facilities, and the engaging managers, strongly recommending a stay. The proximity to racing, beaches, and the Eagles legion are also noted as significant advantages. However, a subsequent edit to a review expresses strong dissatisfaction with the new policy forcing the removal of canopies, a common amenity used by many guests for comfort and protection from the elements. This policy change has reportedly caused considerable frustration among residents. Another review praises the park's pricing and the non-nitpicky management style, particularly appreciating its contrast to HOAs. The proximity to a motocross track (Pax motocross track) is a plus for riders, and the easy access to beaches and nearby cities is also highlighted. The primary drawback mentioned in this review is the poor condition of the dirt roads within the park.
Currently, specific promotional information for Palm Coast RV Park is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. In conclusion, Palm Coast RV Park in Bunnell, FL, offers an affordable option with several notable features, including hot showers, a unique alligator pond, proximity to attractions like the beach and Daytona, and engaging management. However, prospective guests should be aware of the recently enforced policy regarding the removal of canopies and the reported poor condition of the park's dirt roads. The park's proximity to a racetrack and an Eagles legion offers unique entertainment options. For those seeking a budget-friendly base to explore the Palm Coast and Daytona areas, Palm Coast RV Park presents a viable option, but it is advisable to contact the management directly for the most up-to-date information on policies and any available promotions.

Palm Coast RV Park Reviews
Spent over a week at this RV park and enjoyed it very much. This RV park has everything you need for a great stay. Hot clean long showers any hour of the day, even when I had 3 out of the 4 washing machines in use on hot. Plenty of parking spots for electric hook up and Boondocking spots as well. Huge pond with two alligators you can watch as you relax by the public swings around the pond. Bathrooms are clean and laundry area is great. The managers are very down to earth engaging and accommodating people for sure. Definitely will stay again when we come back around the area. There’s a dirt track racetrack right next to the park and you can watch for free. This park is close to the ocean and Daytona/ Ormond area so the motorcycling was incredible. Also there was an Eagles legion right next to the park so you could have a drink and then just walk back to your spot. Looks like there was a bar open at one time next to the park but it’s being renovated and wished it would have been open for our time. Looked like lots of character to it.Thank you for the great stay Christy and Kevin. Cheers. Erin and Jerry.
Mar 01, 2025 · Erin S04/05/25Edit: momentarily after posting this the park owners forced everyone to take down any canopies/sun shades/tents they had up by their RVs. Why? Nearly everyone here has a canopy of some sort they enjoy sitting outside under and/or keeping their belongings protected under. Is it really that much to ask to allow a canopy outside your camper?? The owners have pissed off a lot of their guests by enforcing this. 👎🏼👎🏼- - -03/30/25This park is nicely priced and right next to Pax motocross track, which is nice since I ride motocross. The management isn’t stuck up and knitpicky about every little thing like some other RV parks I’ve stayed at. I moved out of a house in a HOA for that reason, I don’t want my campground to act like one.The beach is only 15 minutes away, lots of places to eat and visit around Palm coast and even St. Augustine. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the dirt roads here. They could use a redo. Lots of potholes and a very rough ride in and out. If those improve then this would be 5 stars!
Apr 16, 2025 · Colton BentzKen and Christy are great managers and more than willing to accommodate your every need. Been spending winters here under different managers and they by far are the best.We already plan on coming here this next winter. A quiet place to be and they take care of the people by making sure it is a safe place for all the campers.
Mar 26, 2025 · Diane BlanchardIt’s a Very beautiful campground, there very animal accommodating, the pond here is great for fishing, my little brother is always over there. The campground is also a place where parents don’t have to worry about there kids running around playing, no matter the age. The managers of the park are really sweet, nice, accommodating, helpful and just overall truly good people
