RV Villas on Lake Lavon Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the vicinity of Nevada, Texas, particularly those seeking a distinctive and high-quality experience, RV Villas on Lake Lavon, located at 5167 Co Rd 547, presents an intriguing option. Reachable at (469) 389-1767 or +1 469-389-1767, this locally family-owned RV park has garnered attention for its unique craftsmanship and upscale amenities. However, it's important to consider all available feedback when evaluating whether this park aligns with your needs.
One former resident, who had the privilege of being one of the first to stay at RV Villas, fondly recalls their time there and expresses missing the experience. They emphasize the "Craftmanship" that went into the RV park, describing it as "something you never seen before" and "first class." This suggests that the physical infrastructure and design of RV Villas on Lake Lavon are of a particularly high standard, focusing on aesthetics and quality.
A significant feature highlighted by this positive review is the attention to detail at each RV spot. Each site boasts a "six foot painted wood and power coated iron ornament fence," providing a degree of privacy and visual appeal. The front entry of each spot includes a "well crafted first class door" made of iron ornament that is lockable by key, offering an added sense of security and individuality. Residents are also provided with a "wireless door bell," a thoughtful convenience for receiving visitors.
Furthermore, each RV spot is equipped with a private "storage building 4x5x6 with large door to lock." This dedicated storage space is a valuable amenity for RVers, providing a secure place to keep extra belongings and equipment organized. The inclusion of an "irrigation system for grass and oak tree they had installed" indicates a commitment to maintaining a lush and green environment at each individual site, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the park.
Adding a touch of personalization and charm, "out front every resident has mail box with different animated covers." This small detail contributes to the unique character of the park and allows residents to express their individuality. The reviewer also noted efficient mail and package delivery, mentioning that UPS drivers knew their address by the number on the front gate, suggesting a well-organized system for receiving deliveries.
Lawn maintenance is provided by the owners, relieving residents of this responsibility and ensuring that the park maintains a neat and well-groomed appearance. Another notable feature is the "enclosed green belt fenced in made by Iron ornament & wood fence." This dedicated green space offers a secure area for residents to walk their pets and provides a great opportunity to "meet and greet new neighbors," fostering a sense of community within the park.
However, it is crucial to consider a contrasting review that presents a less positive perspective. This reviewer advises others to "steer clear" of RV Villas on Lake Lavon, stating that despite its attractive appearance ("Obviously, this place looks really nice"), it is "very poorly ran." They recommend searching elsewhere to avoid "less headaches," expressing their disappointment by saying, "Such a shame. Might do well under better management." This feedback raises significant concerns about the operational aspects and management of the RV park.
The negative reviewer also mentions the park's response to their feedback, stating that it "isn't even related to the issues I have" and appears to be a "generic response post with no intention of fixing anything." This lack of personalized and effective response to concerns can be a significant drawback for residents, potentially leading to unresolved issues and dissatisfaction.
Given this conflicting feedback, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should approach RV Villas on Lake Lavon with caution and consider both the positive aspects of its physical amenities and the potential negative aspects related to its management. The park undeniably offers unique and high-quality features at each RV site, suggesting a significant investment in creating an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable living space. The enclosed green belt and provided lawn maintenance are also attractive amenities.
However, the serious concerns raised about the park's management and their responsiveness to resident issues cannot be ignored. Poor management can impact various aspects of the living experience, potentially leading to frustrations and a less enjoyable stay, regardless of the quality of the physical infrastructure. The discrepancy between the positive comments about the park's features and the negative comments about its management creates a complex picture for potential residents.
For local users considering RV Villas on Lake Lavon, it would be prudent to conduct thorough due diligence. This could include contacting the park directly with specific questions about their management practices, resident support, and how they address concerns. If possible, speaking with current residents (beyond the online reviews) could provide a more balanced and up-to-date perspective on the living conditions and management effectiveness. It might also be beneficial to inquire about any recent changes in management or operational procedures that could have addressed past issues.
While the "first class" craftsmanship and unique amenities at RV Villas on Lake Lavon may be appealing, the concerns regarding management highlight the importance of considering all aspects of an RV park before making a decision, especially for longer-term stays. Exploring other "great places to live and visit nearby with amazing owners," as suggested by the negative reviewer, might be a wise course of action to ensure a positive and hassle-free RV living experience in the Nevada, Texas area. Ultimately, the decision rests on individual priorities and risk tolerance after considering all available information.

May 27, 2019 · Danny M. JacksonI would steer clear from this one. Obviously, this place looks really nice, but it very poorly ran. Search elsewhere for less headaches. Such a shame. Might do well under better management. The response from the park regarding my review isn't even related to the issues I have. So it's just a generic response post with no intention of fixing anything. Don't be discouraged. There are great places to live and visit nearby with amazing owners!

Sep 24, 2024 · Reggie ThomasMark, Rose and Andrew are great at what they do. This is, bar none, the BEST RV park I have ever seen. They work hard and diligently to ensure a consistently positive experience here. They don’t cut corners and address concerns in an effective and timely manner. I have no plans to leave here anytime soon. This is a great place with great people here! I can’t imagine anyone finding fault with this place, it truly is AWESOME!
Apr 05, 2019 · Russ RobertsI went to look at the lot. The yard hadn't been mowed and the grass was about ankle deep but I decided to take it. I met Linda. At first I asked if I could pay the deposit the next Friday when I get paid she told me that they can't hold it that long. I told her that I wanted it and would bring the deposit back the next day as I don't have checks. She said okay that is fine. I want to pay the rent in 2 payments for direct deposit from my check straight to the payer site. I was never told that I had to give a check for the deposit and was told I needed to bring cash back. I left there contacted Rose and let them know I was taking the lot. About 10 minutes later I get a text from Linda saying the lot was no longer available. I called her to find out that someone else came right after and she let them have it instead. Linda had agreed to let me have it and come back to give the deposit the very next day. That is very untrustworthy. This was very disappointing and found it very unprofessional. This is not a place I would want to give my business as I feel she made an agreement to let me come back to give the deposit and my granddaughter was there and heard the conversation between Linda and me. Very unprofessional. I then get A text message from Rose that this is the way they do business and I could look at the new park in Princeton in January. I told her no thank you as I no longer trust her or her employees. A person is only good as their word...enough said.
