- Residential Lots: Individual spaces where residents can place their mobile homes. These lots typically include utility hookups.
- Utility Hookups: Similar to RV parks, mobile home communities usually provide connections for water, sewer, and electricity to each lot. Residents are typically responsible for their usage.
- Community Amenities: Depending on the community, there might be shared amenities such as playgrounds, community centers, laundry facilities, swimming pools, or recreational areas. The review mentioning "lots of kids" suggests the potential presence of child-friendly amenities like a playground.
- Management and Maintenance: Mobile home communities typically have on-site management responsible for the upkeep of common areas, enforcing community rules, and addressing resident concerns. The "nice place" and "good neighbors" feedback could reflect effective management.
- Security: Many mobile home communities prioritize the safety and security of their residents. Information about security measures at Saddleridge would need to be obtained directly from the management.
Regarding the environment, the description of "good neighbors" and "lots of kids" paints a picture of a vibrant and interactive community. The residential nature of a mobile home park often fosters a stronger sense of long-term community compared to some RV parks that might cater more to transient visitors. Saddleridge Mobile Home Community Reviews
Nice place. Good neighbors, lots of kids. A little pricey, but mostly worth it.
Apr 27, 2025 · John Harrison (CartoonJohn)In their website, they forget the most important aspect. They forget pictures of the insides of the mobile homes. They do not give you any information about the prices of the mobile homes. They do not give you any information as far as how many bedrooms.
May 08, 2024 · Daniel WitonThe property manager gave off racist vibes and was very rude. It’s like as soon as she seen we were black her attitude came out. We inquired about a 3 bedroom and we were told somebody already put an application in. She then proceeded to ask where we work and our credit score, like why would you need to know our personal info if you already said you didn’t have anything available. Very unprofessional…the receptionist should not have to warn people about her attitude before hand. She really lucky I was having a good day because she was close to getting her feelings hurt.
Jun 29, 2023 · Tia ParkerI wouldn’t even give this place a one star, the lady who allows you to go in and view these Mobile homes is EXTREMELY unprofessional!! And she will not let new homeowners unless the are above the ages of 20 buy with them. Me and my roommate were looking to rent to buy a mobile home and they allowed us to come in and view the place but we weren’t even viewing it for 10 minutes before the lady asks us our age once again and from there proceeds to tell us how un-trustworthy we are because of the age, and that we won’t be able to buy with them. I had called the week before for this viewing and made the lady aware of my age and that I would be a newer home owner they said it would be alright, there is also stains in their newer “2021” mobile home carpets. Do not recommend!!!!
Jun 08, 2023 · Kayla JonesThis is a slum, It used to be one of the nicest apartment communities in Hueytown AL. They used to have a wait list. The old Mgmt. Staff used to keep the building & porches pressure washed. They would show up if you had any maintenance issues & all of that has fallen by the waste side.If you're interested in the mobile home community you may just be in luck as that seems to be Mgmts. sole focus. My issue is with the apartment complex Notting Hill/ Saddle Ridge. I am a 6 year resident & I can definitely say that when it comes to maintenance Mrs. Lori and her lack of a Maintenance staff really get zero stars. We have made our issues known to her via direct communication and in writing. It has been one year and I still have a toilet that leaks water onto the floor when flushed & when reported Mrs. Lori sent her husband Russell down to turn it off & when I reached back out to her,she sent him back and all he did was turn it back on. That is a health hazard, not to mention what toilet water smells like. The next issue is with the toilet in my master bath. It runs all day and night non stop. When reported she sent her husband Russell and some guy named Chase & Let me just tell you, that was last year and the toilet is still running rather loudly and did I mention it was non stop? You would think they would want to correct that if only for purposes of their water bill. I have sent her countless written notices, visited the office in person & the only response I got from her is, She was told everything was fixed. She also admitted they have no maintenance staff, where does my rent money go? She has been invited to do a walk thru with us many times so she can observe the issues for herself and never shows & you are wasting your time if you ask her to provide you the information to contact the Corporate office. She guards that information with her life. The ceiling in both of my bathrooms have been wrecked with water damage and we're never fixed. I had an incident last summer where the air conditioning unit caused a flood and water leaked thru to my down stairs neighbors unit. My wood plank flooring was damaged, water seeped underneath and here it is summer again and it has not been repaired. Water is still trapped underneath and when the incident occurred Mrs. Lori stated, she would deal with the air-conditioning first and my flooring later. She never did correct this and my neighbor informed me his ceiling was never repaired. She always says the same thing and she has a very funky attitude. She discusses everything but the actual issues. She even made a remark to both my sister and I, that we should move. She said all of the other former neighbors have moved and purchased homes and that is maybe what we should do. I am at my end and I do not like being treated unfairly. We are considering addressed these issues with the Health Dept,The Building Inspector,Fair Housing and a Attorney. This is an inconvenience and there's expenses involved in moving. Beware before you move to this place. Professionalism, integrity and quick response is not their way here. I could go on and on with complaints. My latest disappoint was with a notice I recently got. My rent is late after the 8th and I was served a notice that stated I must pay a total of 819.00 within 7 days of the notice. I places my rent in the night drop on 08/13/19 and she received it the next day. The 7th day would not have been until Friday 08/16/19 and she stated I owed another $25.00 when the letter clearly states I would have had a few more days before another fee was due. I visited her in person to discuss and she did not agree to accommodate me when I had the letter in hand. She told me that was not what the letter meant, but it was clearly what it stated. I would be glad to attach a copy of it to this review. She then began to tell me the stories about other tenants that have moved and have purchased homes.🤔 What does that have to do with my maintenance issues?
