One Hundred Oaks Introduce
Located at 2755 Stonefield Dr in Fultondale, Alabama, One Hundred Oaks presents itself as a mobile home community offering a residential setting in the greater Birmingham area. For local users exploring options under the category of "RV parks near me," it's important to note that One Hundred Oaks primarily serves as a long-term residential community for manufactured homes. While the desire for a beautiful and clean environment with spacious lots might align with the preferences of some long-term RV dwellers, the services and features are typically geared towards permanent or semi-permanent residency rather than short-term recreational vehicle stays.
Based on the available customer reviews, One Hundred Oaks appears to have several positive attributes, particularly concerning its physical environment. One reviewer expressed a desire to find a place within the community, describing it as "beautiful and clean" with "spaced out lots." This suggests that the park may prioritize the aesthetic appeal and maintenance of its grounds, as well as offering residents a sense of privacy and space between homes. These are significant factors that contribute to the overall quality of life within a residential community.
The mention of "spaced out lots" implies that residents may benefit from larger individual areas, potentially allowing for landscaping, outdoor activities, and a greater sense of personal space compared to more densely situated mobile home parks or RV parks with tighter configurations. This feature can be particularly attractive to families or individuals who value outdoor living and a degree of separation from their neighbors.
However, it is crucial to consider all aspects of the available feedback. Another reviewer shared a significantly negative experience specifically related to the current manager, identified as Linda. This review describes interactions involving yelling and a lack of opportunity for residents to communicate, with the manager frequently attributing such behavior to "having a bad day." The reviewer, claiming to have lived in the community for over 20 years and experienced various managers, expressed a strong negative sentiment towards the current management style, suggesting it detracts significantly from the overall living experience. The reviewer explicitly stated they would rate the place a "4 star" if not for the current management.
This feedback highlights a potential dichotomy: a physically appealing and well-maintained environment contrasted with a significant concern regarding the interpersonal interactions with the current management. For prospective residents, this suggests the importance of not only assessing the visual aspects of the community but also attempting to understand the management style and its potential impact on resident satisfaction.
Given the limited scope of the provided information, details regarding specific services, features, or promotional offers at One Hundred Oaks are not available. Typically, mobile home communities offer essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewage hookups for each lot. They may also provide services like waste management and maintenance of common areas. Additional amenities can vary widely and might include laundry facilities, community centers, playgrounds, or security services. To obtain specific information about what One Hundred Oaks offers, direct contact with the park management is necessary. The provided phone numbers are (205) 631-4587 and +1 205-631-4587.
When contacting One Hundred Oaks, prospective residents should inquire about various aspects, including lot rental fees, what is included in the fees, the availability of lots, the rules and regulations of the community, and any amenities offered. It would also be prudent to inquire about the management's policies and approach to resident relations, although direct experiences may only be fully understood by speaking with current residents if possible.
For individuals searching under "RV parks near me," One Hundred Oaks, while praised for its beauty and spacious lots (qualities that might appeal to some long-term RVers), is fundamentally a mobile home community. Its infrastructure and regulations are likely tailored for manufactured homes rather than recreational vehicles. Short-term stays and specific RV amenities like dump stations may not be available. Therefore, while the aesthetic and spatial aspects might be attractive, those specifically seeking an RV park should verify if One Hundred Oaks accommodates RVs for extended periods and offers the necessary facilities.
In conclusion, One Hundred Oaks in Fultondale, Alabama, appears to be a mobile home community that boasts a beautiful and clean environment with spacious lots, according to one reviewer. However, another long-term resident has raised significant concerns regarding the current management. Prospective residents should weigh these factors carefully. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the services, features, and current management practices at One Hundred Oaks, direct communication with the park management at (205) 631-4587 or +1 205-631-4587 is strongly recommended. For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me," it is essential to ascertain whether One Hundred Oaks accommodates RVs and meets the specific needs of recreational vehicle living.

One Hundred Oaks Reviews
I wish I could find a place here. Beautiful and clean. Spaced out lots.
Sep 29, 2024 · Davicia ThomasAwful experiences with current manager, Linda. She will yell in your face not giving you an opportunity to talk. Then later using the excuse of “having a bad day”. I’d like to say that’s the only time she’s ever used that excuse but unfortunately, it’s her go to phrase… quite often. I’ve lived here 20+ years and had managers come and go, most of which have been great! But I get the feeling Linda either hates her job or hates people… anyways, would give this place a 4 star if Linda weren’t in charge.
Dec 30, 2021 · Diana CLived there for about 18 years and it's ok. Mostly good neighbors. When I first moved to 100 Oaks, the management would only allow fairly new or homes less than 10 years old to locate there. Seems like now they allow most any mobile home to be placed in the park. The electrical system was totally replaced about 10 years ago and is in great shape, but the water system is old and constantly being shut off for leaks and water main breaks.Security is most of the time good, most neighbors look out for each other, but there's been a few violent crimes in the community.I still own a home there where my stepson lives. The management is great and will work with you on most issues. Facilities are ok, pool is outdated, and needs upgraded, but it's in decent shape, along with a nice playground area near the office and pool. There's a community store in the park that's Handy. Also, the park management works well with the local municipality.Overall, 100 Oaks is a safe community, and mostly family oriented
Sep 01, 2018 · Scotty FassinaI absolutely love my little neighborhood! This is the place I call home. All the neighbors are very nice. It’s a very quiet safe neighborhood.
Jun 22, 2021 · Annette EstepVisited Tamale Queen restaurant. Absolutely fantastic!! The trailer park, on the other hand, could stand some help to clean up the area.
