Tent Camping USA Introduce
For local residents in the Del Rio, Tennessee area seeking "camping near me," Tent Camping USA, located at 2299 US-25 70 E, Del Rio, TN 37727, USA, presents a unique option with a blend of riverside access and a distinct biker bar atmosphere. Based on the available customer reviews, this location offers some appealing environmental features, particularly its proximity to the river, but also comes with certain considerations regarding privacy and the primary clientele. It's essential for potential visitors to weigh these aspects to determine if Tent Camping USA aligns with their desired camping experience.
The environment surrounding Tent Camping USA is notable for its riverside location. One reviewer mentions being "right on the river," which is often a highly desirable feature for campers seeking scenic views and access to water-based activities such as fishing, canoeing, or kayaking. The same reviewer also describes "absolutely breath taking views of mountains moon an river," highlighting the potential for a picturesque natural setting. The proximity to US-25 70 E suggests that while the location offers river access, it may also be near a main highway, which could impact the overall tranquility. The first review also mentions attending events there and enjoying the food, indicating that the location serves as more than just a campground. However, the second review points out that for a more traditional and private camping experience, there are other options further back in Del Rio, suggesting that Tent Camping USA's environment might be more integrated with its other functions, primarily as a biker bar.
Services at Tent Camping USA appear to be intertwined with its operation as a biker bar. One reviewer mentions having eaten lunch and dinner there, indicating the availability of food. The second review refers to "Barbarossa saloon" at the same location, stating that it offers "everything you need right there. Food entertainment drinks." This suggests that the primary services cater to patrons of the bar, which also accommodates some camping. The second reviewer notes that "everyone else gets last dibs," implying that campers might not be the priority in terms of service. Regarding specific camping amenities, the second review mentions that "Camping isn't too bad if you don't mind not having any privacy," and that you are "right on the river." This suggests that basic camping is available, likely tent camping given the name, but details about specific campsite amenities like fire rings, picnic tables, or water access at the sites are not provided. The review also implies a lack of privacy, suggesting close proximity between campsites. There is no mention of restrooms, showers, or other standard campground facilities in the provided reviews. For services beyond food and drinks at the bar, potential campers would need to inquire directly using the provided phone numbers: (423) 613-9726 or +1 423-613-9726.
The primary feature of Tent Camping USA seems to be its unique combination of riverside access and a biker bar atmosphere. For local users who are also part of the biker community or who enjoy the social aspects of a bar setting alongside their camping, this could be an appealing feature. The breathtaking views of the mountains and river, as mentioned in one review, are also a significant feature of the location. However, the second review highlights the lack of privacy for campers, suggesting that the camping area might be quite open and integrated with the bar's activities. The presence of "food entertainment drinks" at the Barbarossa saloon is a key feature, offering convenience for those who want these amenities readily available. However, for campers seeking a more traditional and secluded camping experience, the lack of privacy and the focus on the biker bar clientele might be drawbacks. The second reviewer also points out that for a more authentic camping experience with greater privacy, there are other options in Del Rio, such as the dude ranch or areas like Paint Creek and Brush Creek (White Oak Flats).
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Tent Camping USA based on the provided data. The reviews primarily focus on the experience and atmosphere rather than any special offers or discounts. Local users interested in camping here would need to contact them directly at (423) 613-9726 or +1 423-613-9726 to inquire about pricing for camping, any potential seasonal rates, or any special offers that might be available. Given the unique nature of this location as a biker bar with camping, promotions might be tied to events or specific times of the year that cater to the biker community. It would be prudent to call ahead to get the most current information on pricing and any deals that might be offered to local residents or during certain times.
The customer reviews for Tent Camping USA offer contrasting perspectives. One reviewer expresses a strong positive sentiment, "Love this place!" and praises the breathtaking views and amazing food, even though they haven't camped there yet, indicating positive experiences with events and dining. However, the second review presents a more nuanced view, describing it as "just a biker bar unfortunately" and suggesting that the clientele primarily caters to bikers, with others getting "last dibs." This reviewer also points out the lack of privacy for camping due to being right on the river and close to the bar/highway. While acknowledging the hard-to-find riverside location as a pro, they recommend other locations in Del Rio for a more traditional and private camping experience. The review of Barbarossa saloon highlights the convenience of having food, entertainment, and drinks readily available, suggesting that the overall experience depends on the type of camper one is and their preferences regarding privacy and atmosphere.
The location of Tent Camping USA in Del Rio, TN, offers the distinct advantage of being right on the river, providing scenic views and potential access for water activities. For local users who value riverside camping, this could be a significant draw. However, the proximity to US-25 70 E and the integration with a biker bar suggest that the environment might be less secluded and more oriented towards a social, possibly louder, atmosphere. The second reviewer's recommendation of other camping spots further back in Del Rio for a more private and traditional experience indicates that the immediate area around Tent Camping USA might be more developed or less focused solely on camping. Local users seeking a quiet, nature-focused "camping near me" might want to consider the alternative locations mentioned, such as the dude ranch or the Paint Creek/Brush Creek areas. The convenience of having a bar and food on-site at Tent Camping USA might appeal to those who prefer amenities and a social scene over seclusion.
In conclusion, Tent Camping USA in Del Rio, TN, offers a unique "camping near me" experience characterized by its riverside location and integration with a biker bar (Barbarossa saloon). While the breathtaking views and the convenience of having food, entertainment, and drinks on-site might be appealing to some local users, potential campers should be aware of the reported lack of privacy and the primary focus on the biker clientele. For those seeking a more traditional and secluded camping experience, other options in the Del Rio area are recommended by a reviewer. Local residents interested in staying at Tent Camping USA should contact them directly at (423) 613-9726 or +1 423-613-9726 to inquire about camping specifics, pricing, and to determine if the atmosphere and services align with their preferences. It's a location that offers a different kind of "camping near me," one that blends outdoor lodging with a social bar scene and easy river access.

May 22, 2022 · Autumn LaSHae HeckJust a biker bar unfortunately . Not saying anything bad about bikers but that's the clientele that they cater to, everyone else gets last dibs. Camping isn't too bad if you don't mind not having any privacy. You're right on the river and that's hard to find. So take your pro's and con's. If you'd like an actual camping experience there are plenty of places back in Del Rio. The dude ranch is an awesome spot. 461 Old River Rd, Del Rio, TN 37727. Horse trails, canoeing, rafting, etc etc. Ask for Shawn & Jo Ann Gannon. You can also go to Paint Creek or Brush Creek also know as white oak flats, which is a hidden gem. That's real camping btw. Anything past the slab is sure to be more private and more of a camping experience then sleeping next to a biker bar right on the highway. But at Barbarossa saloon you have everything you need right there. Food entertainment drinks. . . . Just depends on the type of camper that you are. (Few people know this, there are a couple spots right on the river, free to camp, canoe, kayak. . .whatever you'd like. Just go to Del Rio!)

Sheila Myers has a small shop on site with bike accessories and apparel from her shop in Rogersville, Tn. As well as a store inside Bobarosa's bar. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE!!!
