Eastwood Hills Introduce
For local users in the Irondale, Alabama area who are searching for "RV parks near me" and might be considering long-term residential options within a mobile home park, Eastwood Hills, located at 1961 Alton Rd # 802N, Irondale, AL 35210, USA, presents a community with evolving feedback regarding its infrastructure. While the platform category might initially suggest temporary RV accommodations, it can also lead to the discovery of mobile home communities like Eastwood Hills, which appears to offer a more permanent living arrangement.
The customer reviews for Eastwood Hills provide a narrative of significant infrastructure challenges that have seemingly been addressed. Initially, one reviewer described the roads within the park as "horrible," characterized by numerous "potholes and speed bumps," creating a hazardous driving environment where residents would reportedly drive erratically to avoid the poor road conditions. This reviewer also expressed frustration with the lack of action despite the owners stating to "have patience," claiming that over several months, the road conditions had only worsened, with potholes becoming "like swimming pools" and the roads "crumbling." The frequent need for car maintenance and balancing due to the poor roads was also highlighted, and the reviewer indicated that the provided pictures were just a "very small example" of the extensive damage.
Adding to these initial concerns, the same reviewer, in their original post, mentioned that while they loved living in Eastwood Hills due to its location and people, the frequent changes in management were a concern. More critically, they reiterated the severely poor road conditions, stating that they were "unavoidable" and were continuously worsening. The reviewer also alleged that management would justify rent increases by promising to fix the roads but then fail to take any action. They felt that the rent of $415 was not justified given the state of the infrastructure and noted that the park had been bought and sold repeatedly over the past five years, seemingly for profit without any real improvements being made. Despite these significant infrastructure issues, the reviewer did acknowledge that the location and the community within Eastwood Hills were positive aspects.
However, a more recent update from a different reviewer offers a dramatically different perspective on the road conditions. This reviewer simply states, "The owners have finally fixed the roads!" This concise but powerful statement suggests that the long-standing and significant issue of poor road infrastructure within Eastwood Hills has now been addressed by the current ownership. This would be a substantial improvement and could significantly enhance the living experience for residents, resolving the safety hazards and vehicle maintenance concerns previously highlighted.
Given this contrasting information, Eastwood Hills appears to be a community that has listened to and acted upon a major concern raised by its residents. The initial reviews painted a picture of a well-located community with a positive social environment marred by severely neglected road infrastructure. The recent feedback indicates that this critical issue has now been resolved, potentially transforming the overall living experience within the park.
As Eastwood Hills is listed as a mobile home park, it primarily caters to long-term residential living for individuals and families who own or rent mobile homes and lease the land. While the platform category might include "RV parks near me," there is no information available in the reviews to suggest that Eastwood Hills specifically offers amenities or accommodations for recreational vehicles. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer connections for each lot. The reviews do not offer specific details about the infrastructure or services available at this park beyond the significant discussion of the road conditions.
The reviews do not provide any information about specific features or amenities within Eastwood Hills. Mobile home parks can vary in their offerings, which might include things like laundry facilities, community centers, playgrounds, or recreational areas. The absence of any mention of such features in the reviews does not necessarily mean they do not exist, but it indicates that they were not the primary focus of the feedback provided.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided data. Details about lot rental rates, the cost of renting mobile homes (if available), or any special offers are not mentioned in the reviews. The original reviewer did mention a rent of $415, but this was in the context of the poor road conditions at the time. Prospective residents would need to contact the management directly to inquire about current rental rates and any other associated costs.
For local users in Irondale, Alabama, who are searching for long-term housing options and come across Eastwood Hills in their search for "RV parks near me," the key takeaway from the recent reviews is the reported improvement in the road conditions. The initial concerns about potholes and crumbling roads appear to have been addressed by the owners. The positive feedback regarding the location and the community within the park remains consistent. Therefore, Eastwood Hills presents itself as a potentially attractive option, offering a desirable location and community with a previously significant infrastructure issue seemingly resolved.
Prospective residents are advised to contact the management of Eastwood Hills directly using the provided phone number, (205) 956-5100 or +1 205-956-5100, to seek detailed information about current rental rates, amenities, services, and any other relevant policies. It would also be beneficial to inquire about the timeline and scope of the road repairs to understand the extent of the improvement. Visiting the park in person to assess the current condition of the roads and the overall environment of the community would be a prudent step in making an informed decision about living in Eastwood Hills.
In conclusion, Eastwood Hills in Irondale, Alabama, appears to be a mobile home park that has addressed a major infrastructure concern regarding its roads, which were previously a significant source of negative feedback. Coupled with its reportedly desirable location and community, Eastwood Hills now presents a potentially appealing option for long-term residency in the Irondale area. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the management for more detailed information and to conduct a personal visit to experience the community firsthand.

Eastwood Hills Reviews
Horrible roads, full of potholes and speed bumps, and people will practically run you over trying to avoid them.*Update: It's been months since I posted this review and the owners saying to have patience, well, absolutely nothing has been done, things have just gotten worse, more potholes everywhere, some looking like swimming pools, roads just crumbling and having to take the car to the mechanic and to get balance so often because of road conditions. *The pictures are just a very small example and not in the least the worst of the road.
Aug 30, 2022 · Mary A.The owners have finally fixed the roads!Original:I love living here (location and people), however, management changes all the time. Roads are also so so bad. It just gets worse and worse with potholes that they are unavoidable. Managment keeps upping rent with the justification fixing the roads but then proceed to do nothing. 415 is not worth it in the slightest. This park has been bought over and over for the past 5 years for quick money with no improvement.Location wise and community is fine. It's just the roads are so awful

May 16, 2023 · F FThis place has little neighborhoods of its own. Meaning that every couple of streets is a neighborhood it is it's own community. To give you an example. The street I am familiar with mostly. Everyone that lives on that street works almost everyday. There's not much socializing between the neighbors. There are a couple that physically socialize with each other longer than 5 minutes. They respect each other very much so. There are kids in almost every trailer. They love to have parties. It does not matter for what they just love to have parties. I think it is more about socializing than the party itself. I know at least three of the neighbors have and run their own businesses and yes them three neighbors all have children. Their children play together. They do not believe in calling the police. I guess unless somebody got shot or seriously hurt I believe they would call the police then. But their mindset is to stick to themselves and handle any problems that may arise within themselves and each other and work it out. This neighborhood, this community on these couple of streets are by far the hardest working people that I have had the honor of living around. I haven't learned a lot living here by the people that I live around. now it took a while for all of the neighbors and myself to understand them and them to understand me. After a certain amount of time they understood and understand who I am and how I am. And the same goes for them, for the most part. There's still a lot of understanding that could be talked within our physically socializing. If you're wondering about is this a drug neighborhood, well let me tell you flat out the only thing that would ever come down either one of these streets is a bag a sticky green and that would be hard to find. Who in this day and time does not smoke sticky? I don't because of certain reasons. but for the people who do it is their business and the stuff is practically legal. It's ridiculously illegal in the first place. The law is very backwards when it comes to prohibition on marijuana. That's another subject there are no drugslike I said this is the neighborhood filled with children I mean literally every single day children ride their bikes they play with each other, and do what children do. I do my own thing. I do not socialize when anyone I try and I will talk to certain neighbors at certain times now it's not perfect. I have neighbors there are few in the community that just so happened to live in the community but not be a part of the community. Not everyone will understand that. Even myself, I would definitely count me being part of the community I'm definitely in the I see my neighbors the same onesevery single day every single morning I see the same children play on the streets every single day I see the saying cars come up and down the streets at certain times every single day to get their mail I see the same postman 5 days a week I see the same posts lady one day a week I hear the vehicle the post automobile I know who it is when I hear it. Very hard-working people. The people who live around myself are some of the best people I've ever met, and that goes for not being my friend but working hard as hell to support their family and make a better life for their and raise their children. these folks that live around me are literally living the American dream or at least they're trying to. Like I said we're not all my best friend I hang out with them and we laugh and cut up everyday, Nope it's not nothing like that. I've learned that they will respect you but also respect them. Like I saidin every community you are going to have certain folks that are just not good for the community. They're either rude, trashy, ignorant arrogant foolish self-centered and some just Evil. But that is the few. One thing I can say I've never had anything stolen from me ever since I have lived here. All ran by a absolutely wonderful terrific manager who is absolutely caring and giving. This part could not be ran by a better person. The managers great what else can I say.
