Irondale Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users in the Irondale, Alabama area who are searching for "RV parks near me" and might be considering long-term residential options within a mobile home park, Irondale Mobile Home Park, located at 1601 Trailer Ln, Irondale, AL 35210, USA, presents a community with mixed feedback regarding its environment and management practices. While the platform category might initially suggest temporary RV accommodations, it can also lead to the discovery of mobile home communities like Irondale Mobile Home Park, which appears to offer a more permanent living arrangement.
The customer reviews for Irondale Mobile Home Park provide insights into both recent improvements and ongoing concerns within the community. One reviewer notes some positive changes, mentioning that "some junk automobiles in people's yards have finally been removed and a couple of the dirtiest lots are being cleaned up." This suggests that there may be an effort underway to improve the overall appearance and tidiness of the park, which could be a positive sign for current and prospective residents. However, this same reviewer expresses disappointment regarding the lawn maintenance, stating, "I thought they hired a new lawn crew but today I saw the guy who did it last year so I removed a star." This indicates that while some improvements are noticeable, consistency in maintenance quality might still be an issue.
In contrast, another reviewer raises significant concerns about the park's management and living environment. This reviewer states that "the way the rent and water is done is wrong," although specific details of these alleged incorrect practices are not provided. Additionally, they complain about excessive noise at night ("The noise at night is to much"), which could significantly impact the quality of life for residents seeking a peaceful living environment.
The same reviewer also details a troubling experience with billing and late fees. They mention that if residents "do work on the site to pay rent," they can expect to be charged a "min of a $ 80 late fee." Furthermore, they recount a specific incident where, despite having a receipt for payment made via autopay, after eight days, the payment was changed to "not paid," and a late fee was added. The reviewer expresses their intention to update their feedback based on the resolution of this issue, and a subsequent note indicates that a year later, they still have a "good complaint," suggesting that the billing issues may not have been resolved to their satisfaction. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the park's billing practices and the responsiveness of the management to resolve such errors.
Given these reviews, Irondale Mobile Home Park appears to be a community undergoing some efforts towards physical improvement, as noted by the removal of junk vehicles and the cleanup of dirty lots. However, significant concerns persist regarding management practices, particularly in the areas of billing accuracy and the handling of payments, as well as the issue of nighttime noise levels. The inconsistency in lawn maintenance also suggests potential ongoing challenges in maintaining the overall environment of the park.
As Irondale Mobile Home Park is listed as a mobile home park, it primarily caters to long-term residential living for individuals and families who own or rent mobile homes and lease the land. While the platform category might include "RV parks near me," there is no information available in the reviews to suggest that Irondale Mobile Home Park specifically offers amenities or accommodations for recreational vehicles. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer connections for each lot. However, the reviews do not offer specific details about the infrastructure or services available at this park, beyond the mention of water billing being a source of concern for one reviewer.
The reviews do not provide any information about specific features or amenities within Irondale Mobile Home Park. Mobile home parks can vary in their offerings, which might include things like laundry facilities, community centers, playgrounds, or recreational areas. The absence of any mention of such features in the reviews does not necessarily mean they do not exist, but it indicates that they were not significant enough to be mentioned by these reviewers.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided data. Details about lot rental rates, the cost of renting mobile homes (if available), or any special offers are not mentioned in the reviews. Prospective residents would need to contact the management directly to inquire about these details.
For local users in Irondale, Alabama, who are searching for long-term housing options and come across Irondale Mobile Home Park in their search for "RV parks near me," it is important to consider both the positive signs of ongoing property cleanup and the significant concerns raised about billing practices and nighttime noise. Visiting the park in person to assess the environment, the condition of the lots and common areas, and to speak with current residents (if possible) would also be a crucial step in forming an informed opinion about whether Irondale Mobile Home Park would be a suitable long-term living option.
In conclusion, Irondale Mobile Home Park in Irondale, Alabama, appears to be a community with ongoing efforts to improve its physical appearance. Apr 30, 2025 · Emmett HaislipThe way the rent and water is done is wrong. The noise at night is to much. If they do work on the site to pay rent, expect to get a min of a $ 80 late fee. We paid have the receipt and after 8 days they changed it to not paid and added a late fee.We have it on auto pay btw. If this gets resolved properly I'll be back. 1yr later and I have a good complaint. I will update soon.
May 04, 2025 · E.T. Area 51 1/2My family and I have lived here for over 20 years. This place has been through 3 different owners. The first set of owners, who pioneered the existence of this trailer park, were the Odom family, and they brought our community together by having an open door, a laundry mat/storm shelter, and holiday parties each year. They treated us like family and made us feel welcomed. Thank you to the Odom family and their staff: Mrs. Brown, Jessie, Reginald, and Miss Mary Anne. The 2nd set of owners lived out of state and closed down the office. They started coming to open the office just a few days out of the month, but we had already lost that sense of family community and were not able to get to know them like the first owners. We started becoming concerned about the park because of neglect. And, before we knew it, they sold and we were under new management. Bridget is the new community manager, and she makes us feel welcomed too. I am so thankful that the new owners have started investing into this park and have built a new picnic pavilion and playground for the kids. They have plans to tear down the old tennis court and build a basketball court. I know that when you place a little money to focus on the kids then it will draw families and make our park a great success. This is a family-friendly park and a place where we try to get to know our neighbors. It makes us proud to call this place home.
Apr 26, 2019 · Pastor LestleyVehicles speed through there with no regard to children playing or people walking there dogs. Also its looks like a dumpsite in the woods. Right now the trailor park is flooding due to a water leak in road. People that live here pay their water bill with lot rent. The owners of the trailor park read the water meters. At least 3 to 4 times a month people will have no water for hours. So owners read water meters there are always water leaks in road and I don't mean little ones.i think they are crooks taking advantage of the park bc they have 2 new double wides sitting on blocks (so they don't get damaged) . Lot rent is high enough but add your water bill that they control. Makes me sick have a lease from before the crooks purchased the trailor park no more than 2 occupancies oh and the subleasings go on and they have more business listed so illegal and I see no bussinesses
