Peachtree Crossings Introduce
When you're looking for "rv parks near me" in the Gardendale, Alabama area, Peachtree Crossings, located at 6521 Peachtree Blvd, Gardendale, AL 35071, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. You can reach them at (205) 631-0095 or +1 205-631-0095 for inquiries about availability and other details. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Peachtree Crossings based on the information available in recent customer reviews.
The available reviews offer a mixed perspective on Peachtree Crossings. One positive aspect highlighted is the helpfulness of a staff member named Veronica Likes during the leasing process. According to a reviewer, Veronica was "very helpful getting me through this process of getting the leasing information submitted and helping me choose a lot." This positive interaction suggests that some staff members are dedicated to assisting potential residents with their initial needs. The reviewer also noted Veronica's assistance in communicating with a mobile home dealership to facilitate financing, expressing sincere gratitude for her support by stating, "I can’t thank her enough for her help!" This positive feedback indicates that at least some individuals have had positive initial experiences with the customer service at Peachtree Crossings, particularly concerning the leasing process.
However, another review presents significant concerns regarding recent changes at Peachtree Crossings. This reviewer points out a concerning trend: "Lot rent prices have SIGNIFICANTLY increased, while upkeep on the park has SIGNIFICANTLY decreased.. very disappointing!!" This suggests a potential decline in the value proposition of residing at Peachtree Crossings, where residents are paying more for what is perceived as a lower level of maintenance and care for the park's grounds and facilities. Such a situation can lead to dissatisfaction among residents and may be a crucial factor for those considering a long-term stay.
Furthermore, the same reviewer raises a serious issue regarding the mobility of mobile homes within the park. They state, "The new owners will sell you a mobile home.. but will not allow you to move it out of the trailer park, WTH?!!?" This policy, if accurately reported, could significantly restrict the rights and flexibility of mobile home owners within Peachtree Crossings. The inability to relocate a purchased mobile home can tie residents to the park indefinitely, potentially limiting their future housing options and financial flexibility. This is a critical point to consider for anyone contemplating purchasing a mobile home within this community.
The reviewer concludes with a strong negative assessment of the new ownership's priorities: "They are NOT concerned about the tenants.. their ONLY concern is extracting MORE money$$." This sentiment suggests a perception among at least one resident that the current management prioritizes financial gain over the well-being and satisfaction of the tenants. Such a perception can negatively impact the community atmosphere and the overall living experience within the park.
Considering the platform category "rv parks near me," it is important to evaluate Peachtree Crossings not only as a potential location for mobile homes but also for its suitability for recreational vehicles, whether for short-term or extended stays. While one review highlights positive assistance with initial leasing, the other review's concerns about increased lot rent without corresponding upkeep and the restrictive policy on moving mobile homes are significant red flags. These issues could potentially affect RV owners as well, particularly those considering a longer-term arrangement or those who value the flexibility of relocating their RV in the future.
The lack of detailed information about the specific amenities and services offered at Peachtree Crossings makes a comprehensive evaluation challenging. Typically, RV parks offer services such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as common areas like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and possibly recreational amenities. Without explicit information on these aspects for Peachtree Crossings, we must rely on the available customer feedback, which currently focuses more on management practices and policy changes than on the tangible features of the park itself.
It is also important to note the absence of any promotional information for Peachtree Crossings in the provided data. This means we cannot assess any special offers or incentives that might be in place to attract new residents or RVers. Potential users would need to contact the park directly to inquire about current rates, availability, and any ongoing promotions.
In summary, Peachtree Crossings in Gardendale, Alabama, presents a mixed picture for those searching for "rv parks near me" or considering mobile home living. While there is a positive account of helpfulness during the initial leasing process, significant concerns have been raised regarding substantial increases in lot rent coupled with decreased park upkeep. The reported policy restricting the removal of purchased mobile homes from the park is also a critical issue that potential residents must consider. The overall sentiment of one recent reviewer suggests a dissatisfaction with the current management's priorities.
Given these contrasting viewpoints, individuals considering Peachtree Crossings as a potential RV park or mobile home community should proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. It would be advisable to contact the park directly to inquire about current policies, rates, amenities, and to seek clarification on the concerns raised in the reviews. Visiting the park in person to assess the condition of the grounds and facilities may also be beneficial. Furthermore, seeking out additional reviews or testimonials from current or former residents could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the living experience at Peachtree Crossings.
For those specifically looking for "rv parks near me" for short-term stays, the issues related to long-term lot rent increases and mobile home policies might be less directly relevant. However, the reported decline in park upkeep could still impact the overall quality of the environment and the usability of any shared amenities. Therefore, it remains essential to gather current information and potentially seek feedback from recent short-term visitors if possible.
In conclusion, while Peachtree Crossings in Gardendale, AL, may offer a location that suits some individuals searching for "rv parks near me," the available customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding recent management changes, including increased lot rent, decreased park upkeep, and restrictive policies on mobile home relocation. Potential residents and RVers should carefully weigh these factors and conduct further investigation before making a decision about Peachtree Crossings.

Feb 24, 2025 · David OdenThis is an amazing little community! Mostly..[or all, not positive..] very quaint and cozy different styles & sizes of trailers! It is a nice trailer park community; with a population of more seniors than family & young children; keeping it in a great place for seniors and a quiet life!Perks!: Community Pool! Community area! Mail boxes all together!
Sep 13, 2023 · Emily PetersonThey take away amenities and raise the lot rent really often. Most in this location are elderly and on a fixed income. Seems like they are trying to get the elderly out.
Sep 16, 2024 · Dennis WilliamsTruly loved the way Office Manager has open door to come in. Always helpful, very kind with concern! Peachtree Crossing is a very quiet community with beautiful shade trees on many lots.
