A Stone's Throw RV Park Reviews
Hey there fellow travelers,I wanted to share our recent experience at A Stone’s Throw RV Park, which we discovered through the AllStays app. We used a filter criteria of 4+ stars and pull-through sites.Conveniently located off of I-10, we arrived at the park around 4:00 PM without any reservations, as we wanted to see it for ourselves before committing. I'm pleased to report that we were very happy with what we found! The park had a variety of RVs, which gave us a good impression right from the start. I took a quick walk-through and found the grounds to be well-kept and mostly level, with gravel pads. The electrical pedestals looked sturdy and reliable. Although I typically prefer to meet the staff in person when we travel, the office was closed. So, I ended up using their website to book a site, which was incredibly easy. I also called and left a message, and received a return call about 10 minutes later. We picked our spot and pulled in, engaged the airbags, and leveled without any issues. When we hooked up to the pedestal, we got power without any surprises—everything worked just as it should. I went outside and snapped some pictures of the park, and I can confidently say that we'll definitely be staying here whenever we're passing by.Happy travels and safe journeys to everyone!
Apr 10, 2025 · F SGreat park for an overnight or two. Right off hwy exit. At least one gas station for truck diesel. I stopped here heading to New Orleans from miami. Easy booking online. Inexpensive at $41 with a Sam’s discount. Clean. Have a few big rig spots so I didn’t have to drop my toad. Has a laundry facility. I saw at least one person entering it to wash cloths. I highly recommend this rv park for its location and cleanliness.
Mar 22, 2025 · Jonathan PennerGreat location and price. Good overnight spot if you're traveling. No amenities to speak of. My only complaint was the traffic noise at night was overwhelming. The big trucks screaming by all night made it hard to sleep.
May 07, 2025 · RobThis was nice place. Bathhouse was clean. We just did a one night while traveling. No one there on duty. There was a number to call if you needed help. We booked online and pretty much on your own.
Mar 31, 2025 · Guy PhelpsGreat place for an overnight! East in and out. Big rig friendly. Pet friendly. Nice manager on site. Self check in with on line reservation and close to fast food and fuel. Would stay here again!
