Weber Lake Campground Introduce
Are you searching for "camping near me" in a picturesque setting in Wisconsin? Weber Lake Campground, located at 9110W County Trunk E, Iron Belt, WI 54536, USA, offers a potentially beautiful camping experience. You can contact them at (715) 561-2697 or +1 715-561-2697. Based on recent customer feedback, this campground boasts a gorgeous and comfortable environment centered around Weber Lake.
The environment of Weber Lake Campground is highly praised. The lake itself is described as beautiful and full of bass and trout, making it ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Several piers are available, and boating is also accessible nearby. Notably, Weber Lake is a no-wake lake, ensuring a calm and peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by the surrounding beautiful woods. For those who enjoy leisurely strolls, there's a nice sidewalk next to the lake. Additionally, the campground is conveniently located right next to the Whitecap Skye Golf Course, offering an added recreational option for campers.
In terms of services and features, Weber Lake Campground provides well-kept, one-person bathrooms. This suggests attention to cleanliness and privacy in their restroom facilities. The presence of electric sites indicates accommodation for RV campers who require power hookups. The lakefront location naturally offers opportunities for water-based activities. However, one camper specifically highlighted an issue with the electric sites for tent camping, noting that they are gravel compacted to the point where it's impossible to insert tent stakes. The only non-gravel sites are described as small lakeside lots with no electric and limited cover or privacy, which might not be ideal for all tent campers.
A significant feature mentioned in a review is the availability of showers. While described as large and clean, they are coin-operated, costing $0.50 for 3 minutes, and are push-style, delivering water for only about 10 seconds per push. The reviewer found this combination of being both coin-operated and push-activated to be particularly inconvenient, especially considering the cost of the campsites.
Another point of concern raised by a visitor was the absence of a camp host during their stay. Furthermore, the campground offices were reported to be closed from Friday to Sunday, leaving no on-site staff to address issues or assist with changes to reservations over the weekend. The reviewer who experienced a site issue and wanted to leave early mentioned not receiving a response until the morning of their scheduled departure.
For local users searching for "camping near me," Weber Lake Campground presents a mixed picture. If you are interested in a campground with a beautiful, calm lake perfect for fishing and boating, and if you appreciate well-maintained private bathrooms and the option of golfing nearby, this location has significant appeal. RV campers looking for electric sites will find them available, though they are gravel-based. However, tent campers should be aware of the challenges with the electric sites being unsuitable for staking and the non-electric lakeside sites offering limited privacy and cover.
The coin-operated, push-style showers are another factor to consider, as this might be less convenient or more costly than expected. The potential absence of a camp host and the weekend closure of the offices could also be a drawback if you anticipate needing on-site assistance during your stay.
Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. To inquire about any special rates, availability, or to get more details about specific campsites, it would be best to contact Weber Lake Campground directly at the phone numbers provided: (715) 561-2697 or +1 715-561-2697. When considering "camping near me," it's always wise to gather as much information as possible to ensure the campground meets your specific needs and expectations.
In conclusion, Weber Lake Campground offers a gorgeous lakeside setting with opportunities for fishing and boating, and convenient access to a golf course. The bathrooms are well-maintained. However, potential visitors, especially tent campers, should be aware of the gravel electric sites not being suitable for tent stakes and the non-electric sites having limited privacy. The coin-operated showers and the potential lack of an on-site host over the weekend are also factors to consider. For local users prioritizing a beautiful lake environment and water activities, Weber Lake Campground could be a great choice, but it's recommended to call ahead to discuss site options and any concerns, particularly if you plan to tent camp.

Weber Lake Campground Reviews
Gorgeous and comfortable campsite.Beautiful lake full of bass and trout.Several piers for fishing and boats nearby.A no wake lake so calm and beautifully wooded.A nice sidewalk next to the lake for taking walks and located right next to Whitecap Skye Golf Course.
Oct 02, 2017 · Nicole WittkoppBeautiful lake and surrounding area. Bathrooms are well kept and are one-person. Seems like it would make for great fishing, or a beach day. However, for tent camping, it didn't quite work. All electric sites are gravel compacted to the point there's no way a stake is going in. The only non-gravel sites are small lakeside lots with no electric and little cover/privacy. My biggest beef, though are the showers. Though large and clean, not only are they coin showers (which was not shown on any of the info I looked at for the grounds), they are expensive ($0.50 for 3 minutes) AND they are push showers lasting about 10 seconds a push. To have them be both is ridiculous, period, in my opinion, but definitely for how much the sites cost.My last issue is that there was no camp host the entire time I was there. Which wouldn't be an issue, except their offices are closed Fri-Sun, which left no one to talk to about my site issue or changing my reservation to leave early. I didn't hear back until the same morning I had to leave.
Sep 19, 2022 · Sarah JansenNice slow no wake lake. New and clean bathroom with showers. Several hiking trails. No beach, but great lake access. Boat launch is paved with a pier. Lost 1.5 stars for advertising ATV access to trail 6, nothing in the rules about restricting atv’s and nothing on the campground map about restricting atv’s, yet roughly half the sites have no ATV signs at the posts. Lost another star because the gravel is really loose to the point I couldn’t get my camper level and grassy areas were excessively soft/muddy. Lost the last 0.5 star because you need to press a button in the shower every 3 seconds to keep the water on.
May 31, 2022 · Jake JagminIt is a shame that there isn't greater effort to preserve upkeep at this jewel of a lake. Lots of broken down picnic tables and rusted out grates, but still a wonderful experience. it might have been more challenging to find a good site if there had been more people. As it was, my family had a wonderful time.
Sep 23, 2018 · J HargesheimerGreat little county campground. Nice swimming area, nice small playground. Electric in all RV sites, can accomidate fairly large RV/Trailers. Tent sites are closer to the water.Clean Pit toilet, no showers, drinking water, fire wood harvested from woods. No law enforcement or camp host on site but there is an established resort next door in case of emergency.Great place to get away from cell towers and city lights. Was able to do some astrological photography while here.
