Sargent Beach RV Park

The owners of Sargent Beach RV Park are friendly and take great care of this property. The grass is fluffy and cared for, there’s concrete pads for your RV, dumping, electric, and water on site, and you are only a minute walk to the beach. The beach isn’t insanely sandy (which I love), the tide comes in at night and keeps it all damp and packed down. But during the day, there’s plenty of room with the tide out to set up your stuff. The section of beach where this small RV park is located, is not populated at all. In the week we stayed, there were possibly four other beach-goers that we saw. And they were nowhere near us, as there was plenty of room to space out. There is not trash strewn about. The trash we saw, we picked up to help keep it clean (maybe three of four pieces?). The only downside, if I had to pick one, is that there aren’t any trees around the RVs to block sun and wind. Regardless, we don’t care. We will come back to this small, gorgeous, little known, and secluded beachside RV park. We love it here. - Heyley Ingram

Sargent Beach RV Park Introduce

If you're searching for "RV parks near me" and dream of a tranquil beachfront escape on the Texas Gulf Coast, Sargent Beach RV Park, located at 27466 FM457, Sargent, TX 77414, USA, offers a distinctive and intimate camping experience. This small, family-owned RV park provides direct access to a less crowded section of Sargent Beach, making it a hidden gem for those seeking peace and quiet by the ocean. The positive reviews consistently highlight the friendly owners, the well-maintained property, and the unparalleled proximity to the beach.

The owners of Sargent Beach RV Park are repeatedly praised for being "friendly" and for taking "great care of this property." This personal touch in management often translates to a more welcoming and attentive experience for guests. Knowing that the owners are invested in the park's upkeep and the comfort of their visitors can significantly enhance your stay, making you feel more like a valued guest than just a number.

The physical attributes of the RV park itself also receive high marks. Guests appreciate the "fluffy and cared for" grass, indicating a commitment to maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment. The provision of "concrete pads for your RV" ensures a stable and level parking surface, which is essential for the functionality and comfort of your recreational vehicle. Furthermore, the availability of on-site "dumping, electric, and water" hookups covers the fundamental needs of RV travelers, providing convenience and ease during your stay.

One of the most significant draws of Sargent Beach RV Park is its exceptional location – "only a minute walk to the beach." This immediate access allows guests to effortlessly enjoy the Gulf Coast, whether it's for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, or simply strolling along the shore. The reviews offer a detailed description of the beach itself, noting that it isn't "insanely sandy," which some visitors appreciate as the tide comes in at night, keeping the sand damp and packed down. During the day, as the tide recedes, there is "plenty of room" to set up your beach gear and enjoy the expansive shoreline.

Adding to the allure of Sargent Beach is its relative seclusion. One reviewer noted that during their week-long stay, they saw "possibly four other beach-goers" in their vicinity, emphasizing the uncrowded nature of this particular section of the beach. This lack of crowds offers a rare opportunity for peace and solitude, allowing you to truly relax and connect with the natural surroundings without the typical hustle and bustle of more popular beach destinations. The cleanliness of the beach is also noteworthy, with one guest mentioning that they picked up only "three or four pieces?" of trash during their stay, indicating a well-maintained and respected environment.

For those interested in fishing, Sargent Beach appears to be a rewarding location. One reviewer mentioned that their husband enjoyed fishing and caught various species, including whiting, catfish, drum, and even a stingray (all of which were thrown back). This suggests that the waters off Sargent Beach offer opportunities for recreational fishing, adding another potential activity for guests of the RV park.

The only potential drawback mentioned in the reviews is the lack of trees around the RV sites to provide shade and wind protection. This is a factor to consider, especially during the hotter months. However, the reviewer also stated, "Regardless, we don’t care. We will come back to this small, gorgeous, little known, and secluded beachside RV park. We love it here," indicating that the many positives of the park far outweigh this single limitation for them.

Another reviewer aptly described Sargent Beach RV Park as "a diamond in the rough," further emphasizing its hidden gem status. The park is small, with only "seven slots for RVs and a few cabins," which contributes to its intimate and uncrowded atmosphere. The lots are described as "nicely spaced" and located "100ft from the ocean," providing both privacy and incredible beach access.

Given the limited number of RV slots, it is highly recommended to book your stay at Sargent Beach RV Park well in advance, especially during peak seasons or holidays. To inquire about availability, rates, and any specific policies, you can contact the owners directly by phone at (979) 529-5295 or +1 979-529-5295.

Currently, no specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. When you call to make a reservation, it would be a good opportunity to ask if they offer any discounts for longer stays or any other special offers that might be applicable during your desired travel dates.

In conclusion, if you are searching for "RV parks near me" and value a clean, secluded, and beachfront experience with friendly owners, Sargent Beach RV Park in Texas is an exceptional choice. Its direct beach access, well-maintained sites, and tranquil atmosphere make it a standout destination on the Gulf Coast. While the lack of shade trees around the RVs is a consideration, the overall positive feedback and the unique charm of this small, family-run park suggest a memorable and enjoyable stay. Be sure to contact them directly to plan your visit to this hidden gem on Sargent Beach.
