Seal Beach Shores Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" and desire a location that offers a unique coastal living experience, Seal Beach Shores, situated at 313 Welcome Ln, Seal Beach, CA 90740, USA, presents an interesting option. You can reach them by phone at (562) 596-2789 or their mobile number, +1 562-596-2789. While primarily a mobile home park, its proximity to the beach and the charming town of Seal Beach might appeal to those seeking an RV lifestyle with access to local amenities and a relaxed atmosphere. The available customer reviews provide valuable insights into the environment and the surrounding area.
One reviewer highlights the appealing aspects of Seal Beach itself, mentioning "nice restaurants and small shops on main st." This suggests that residents of Seal Beach Shores have convenient access to a variety of dining and retail options within a short distance. The reviewer also notes that "the beach is long and waves are generally small," which could be attractive to those who enjoy leisurely walks on the sand and calmer waters for swimming or other beach activities. The presence of a "nice pier" is also mentioned, with the added detail that "fishing is best in summer months," indicating a local attraction for anglers.
Another reviewer, who moved to Seal Beach Shores a year prior, provides a more detailed description of the community and its surroundings. They describe the park as "truly unique and quirky," noting that many of the homes originated as trailers with subsequent "cabana" additions. This architectural characteristic contributes to a "throwback to an old beach town" feel, suggesting a less conventional and perhaps more characterful environment compared to newer developments. The reviewer emphasizes that the residents are drawn to the area by their "love the beach," and that there is a lack of pretension, fostering a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.
The reviewer further characterizes Seal Beach Shores as "a little community within the small fun town of Seal Beach." This highlights the potential for a close-knit living environment where neighbors may know each other and interact regularly. The presence of residents of "all ages" is also noted, suggesting a diverse and inclusive community.
A significant advantage of Seal Beach Shores, according to this reviewer, is its walkability to key local attractions. Main Street, with its "pub, shop, get ice cream," is within easy walking distance, offering a range of social and recreational options. Additionally, Alamitos Bay is nearby, providing access to a "water taxi ride to Shoreline Village in Long Beach," expanding the opportunities for entertainment and exploration in the neighboring city. The reviewer also mentions "beautiful sunset walks along the San Gabriel River to the beach," highlighting the natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation in the area.
Considering these reviews in the context of someone searching for "RV parks near me," Seal Beach Shores offers a unique proposition. While it is a mobile home park, its location provides access to a vibrant beach town atmosphere, a long and generally calm beach, a pier for fishing and strolling, and a sense of community among its residents. The quirky architecture and the emphasis on a relaxed, beach-loving lifestyle might appeal to RVers seeking a less conventional and more community-oriented experience.
The proximity to Main Street's amenities, Alamitos Bay, and the San Gabriel River adds significant value to the location. RVers often appreciate having local conveniences and recreational opportunities within easy reach. The potential for water taxi trips to Long Beach and scenic walks along the river to the beach further enhances the appeal of this location for those seeking a coastal lifestyle.
However, as Seal Beach Shores is primarily a mobile home park, potential RV residents would need to inquire about the park's policies regarding RVs. It would be important to determine if they accommodate RVs for short-term or long-term stays, the types and sizes of RVs permitted, and the availability of necessary hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer. Additionally, information about amenities typically expected in an RV park, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, and communal areas, would be essential.
The reviews do not provide details about the specific services and facilities within Seal Beach Shores itself. Therefore, it is crucial for interested individuals to contact the park management directly to gather this information. Inquiring about space availability, rental rates for RV spots (if applicable), and any specific rules or regulations for RV residents would also be necessary.
Despite the lack of direct information about RV accommodations, the strong sense of community, the appealing location with easy access to the beach, local shops and restaurants, and nearby attractions like Alamitos Bay and Long Beach, make Seal Beach Shores a potentially attractive option for those seeking a coastal "RV park near me" with a unique and laid-back vibe. The positive experiences shared by a long-term resident underscore the welcoming and community-oriented nature of the area.
In conclusion, Seal Beach Shores offers a unique living environment within the charming town of Seal Beach, with easy access to beaches, local amenities, and nearby attractions. While primarily a mobile home park, its location and community spirit might appeal to RVers seeking a coastal lifestyle. However, it is essential for interested individuals to contact the management directly to inquire about their policies on RVs, available amenities, and any specific terms for RV residents to determine if it meets their needs for a temporary or long-term stay.

Seal Beach Shores Reviews
Nice restaurants and small shops on main st. The beach is long and waves are generally small. Pier is nice, fishing is best in summer months
Apr 09, 2021 · Anton SmithI moved here a year ago. It is truly unique and quirky. Many of the homes started out as trailers, and then had a “cabana” added to the trailer. It feels like a throwback to an old beach town. No one is trying to impress, they are here because they love the beach. A little community within the small fun town of Seal Beach. All ages live here, and the mix is nice. A short walk to Main Street to hit a pub, shop, get ice cream, or to Alamitos Bay for a water taxi ride to Shoreline Village in Long Beach, and beautiful sunset walks along the San Gabriel River to the beach. I couldn’t be happier.
Sep 28, 2022 · Karen SpinelliWalk my dogs in seal beach all the time and often turn in and do a loop through here its just so very cool. I did not see where any other review really explained anything about this place. First it is a trailer park but unlike any other I have ever seen. In the photo they show you can see a home just wrapped in vapor barrier, thats a finished home now by the way. But look close at the home before it and you will see the end of an old single trailer sticking out of the first floor! The whole park is that way and no two are anything alike. Its like a free for all in there and is wonderful for that reason, no cookie cutters here. Everything is custom. I wish I could see the insides of some of these or get a look at how they did these building a house with a trailer at its core, Ive never seen anything like this anywhere else. Wonderful just wonderful. wish I lived there.
Nov 17, 2019 · Dave GreavesFrom my experience, the HOA is not pleasant to work with unless you’re a personal friend of theirs. Also, they require “cash only” to buy even though it’s not required in the bylaws. It takes a long time to sell your share. The area allows cigarette smoking. Cigarette smokers are allowed to smoke in the garden area and outside your homes, destroying the sea breeze. If you ask them to please go elsewhere, they will not. Kids are allowed to scream in the garden area. Not a peaceful or pleasant place. Some of the neighbors are very nice.
Jan 06, 2022 · Tricia CooperFor a mobile home park, it is unique. None of the "trailers" look like trailers. They look like homes. The down side is there aren't any garages. There's assigned parking.
